Darius says "oh nothing...except looking at pictures of you as a baby!" Holding up the documents from earlier. We see two pictures of a younger hunter framed like panels- the first is of hunter as a baby/toddler aged hunter freshly sprouted out of the ground with a blanket around him, covered in dirt, while the second one shows a young scout Hunter covered in bandages receiving his sprig plushie. Darius' narration reads "courtesy of Hettie Cutburn- she found the only surviving copy of your early life medical records and gave them to me". Willow says "aww, you were so cute!". The final panel shows Hunter looking embarrassed/stunned as Willow takes a photo of the documents, and Darius says "I'm considering it an early father's day present- so, thank you, Hunter". End ID]

Nah I'm seeing a lot of posts on here and twitter blaming Martha's fans for her mischaracterization and while this does happen I'm really not feeling the idea that feeling sorry for Martha like at all is form of infantilisation or removing her agency. Already covered this in previous posts but the strong-Black-womaning is starting to piss me off bc its not an either or. You can feel sympathy for Martha and recognise that she grew and moved on at the same time. Like this doesn't happen to any other companion. We still recognise Rose's vulnerabilities even tho she got herself a gun. We recognise the Clara that pretended to be the Doctor is the same Clara that broke down crying. Again this is why you have to engage with antiblackness as itself and not just a fandom issue bc any basic reading will show you that pity and sympathy are things not afforded to Black women on a systemic or social level and arguing this ruins our characterisation, we need less or none at all is not giving what you think its giving.

So like one thing I'm afraid of is for when the musical comes out and we (hopefully) get new fans, is fanon!Johnny. Like Johnny often infantilized in fanon which is annoying as fuck and I despise it, but a trend I see with these type of characters like that is that all of the sudden the fandom will be like 'omg why is this character being to woobified' which is good, but then they'll take it to the next extreme. Like in the ST, Will Byers is the sweet and sensitive character (he's also canonically gay) but in order not to fall into the 'feminine gay' stereotype, a lot of the fandom would make him hypermasculine (emphasis on him being muscular and broad, make him more sarcastic and done with everyone's bullshit, making him over-competent) which completely changes his character. Like seriously there's got to be some nuance here. Some middle ground maybe?

That's it, I no longer will be reading the 'official' English translations from Viz. Even if you say that you read this in a sarcastic tone, not everyone will, and we know when Katsuki is being sarcastic, this here doesn't show it. 🤷‍♂️

If you still want to give the benefit of the doubt to that translator, go ahead, but things like this is why many English speaking fans still see the old Katsuki and not the Katsuki who has made growth in his character. 😒

the home team is a (former pop punk) band from seattle that now makes pop/metal/rnb-influenced alt rock music (aka heavy pop). they're one of my favorite bands right now and i'm shocked that they don't have more fans than they do, so if this sounds interesting i encourage you to check them out!

I just finished Room of Swords, completed it if you will lol and what an ending.

I mean lots of confusion, lots of why the fuck was it with bikinis and Tori, lots of info dumping, lots of fuck you Alastair and cockroach, just the usual.

BUT overall GREAT PLOT TWISTS. read it for the plot twists. they are worth it. If you wanna say "what the fuck?!" a lot and feel a lil dumb and confused that's the webtoon for ya.

i was gonna remake the lil character bio pages for these two but with how long those took, i'm just gonna post the sketched out redesigns instead :') later on i'll draw some fancy art of these two when i get a day off work again

i also slightly altered how they both kinda exist and why ragdoll is considered modern with like, a really basic timeline i made that shows the change and how they technically are different

there is a bit more detail but i kept it simple for now, i may draw how ragdoll basically came to be and how they ended up separated from the show itself with no memory of it vrsiondko

every now and then just when i think we as a society (fandom website i mean) have attained enlightenment i see another opinion piece from someone who's like 'how come [truly villainous villain] is more popular than [good guy who did a bad thing for good reasons but got it handwaved by the narrative later]??? one is clearly a better person than the other!' man c'mon you know full well how it works here that's like fandom 101. none of your analyses are wrong but you may not be suited to this particular ecosystem and it sure is not going to adapt to fit your needs. best of luck to you though

The amount of pro amber heard posts and notes on this website compared to the rest of the internet/world is exactly the reason why I am ashamed to call myself a feminist these days, and a proof of how disconnected tumblr is from reality. 

When they not only ignore the fundamental right of presumption of innocence, but outrightly sweep under the rug all evidence of a woman abusing a man, all proof and even admission of her violence against him, in favor of an ultimately sexist ideology that states that women are always victims and that men are always the oppressors. I don’t see a lot of posts on this website pointing out the hypocrisy of fighting for gender equality and not being willing to admit that if men can be  pieces of shit, women can too. 

This support for Amber Heard is NOT a feminism that I want to be a part of. I believe in the burden of proof. I believe that women can be as violent as men. I believe that toxic feminity needs to be acknowledged and debated by feminists because a mouvement that does not address its own imperfections and biases is doomed to die in its own echo chamber. 

I dare any pro amber heard to have the courage to watch the whole trial without any commentary. I dare you to watch all these hours of testimonies, evidence, experts, with your own eyes, and to analyse it with your own critical mind, then look at the current headlines, and tell me that men are the ones who are protected by the system in these matters. I dare you to tell me that all those victims of domestic violence who identified with Johnny Depp, women and men, and not Amber Heard, reached their conclusions because of misogynistic views rather than what they saw during this trial.
