Jokes aside, while writers DO often drop the ball on their female characters compared to male characters, the conversation usually ends right there. "She's one dimensional and poorly-developed". But by comparison, people are more likely to attach to male characters with much smaller roles or briefer appearances, their lack of developement is in fact more likely to be seen as a positive because that just means more room for fanon and headcanons. But not nearly as much for female characters.

It's been months since the infection, and Clarke doesn't feel any nearer to Wells than she was the day her mother died. Running into Raven felt like a blessing at the time, but when they find the Blake siblings, Clarke realizes she's gotten more than she bargained for. Especially when she starts to fall more and more for the awkward crook in his nose, and the way he tells stories of the stars like he's singing a lullaby. She refuses to even think of the word love, because at times like these their hearts can barely afford to beat, let alone feel. But if Bellamy keeps looking at her like he'd be happy to drown in her lips, she's going to have a problem.
