To submit your music for radio airplay consideration on Talent Showcase Africa Playlist via Nam Radio Local and our affiliate mainstream radio platform ENERGY100 fm, please follow the following simple guidelines. It makes your presentation more professional and makes it easier for us to curate and to compile your music for radio rotation.

We do respond to every submission that has been accepted for radio airplay. If you don’t hear from us, then it would be fair to assume that your song has been deemed unsuitable for our channel. We generally screen for production quality, vocal delivery and profanity, but we refrain from sending back rejection letters so as not to offend or discourage emerging artists.

Having said that, you’re always welcome to submit another track for our consideration; OR resubmit an improved version of your already submitted track.

Airplay Notifications via Twitter Explained

If you want to be notified when your track airs on Nam Radio Local, please include your Twitter handle with your song submission, so that every time your track plays, you will receive notification.

When you submit Album Cover (optional), we will include it when we air your track in our daily rotation schedule.

ALSO include a voice note introducing your song on radio… this will be inserted just before your track airs. In other words, you will be introducing your own track to our radio audience.

So be sure to do a good job, by putting in some energy and excitement into your presentation! SMILE… the audience will love YOU.

CAUTION: We are receiving far too many badly recorded voice notes, and some are even in formats we cannot open.

So please up your game on this, short of which we will air your music without your voice note. And when you receive email from us about these shortcomings, please do your best to respond promptly.

What to say on tape (Example).

How to correctly label your MP3

Presentation is everything, therefore submitting your music to ANY media outlet using the correct format says a lot about YOU.

So here’s a quick tip on how to label your MP3 so that music curators will find it a lot easier to curate and playlist your song.

If the track only has YOUR name, as an example, you will label your MP3 using the following format.

WizKid - No Stress

If the track has one or more featured artists, as an example, you will label your MP3 using the following format (Always separate additional featured artists with a comma and a space).

OOC: Legends vs Canon

Promise fans, my group is not going to get into this argument with you about Legends vs Canon. To us, if you RP like we do, you need to know both. My group thinks that that kind of fandom is BULLSHIT and do not come on our feeds talking about it.

Now, our plots, story arcs, metas and headcanons will reflect various aspects of Legends and Canon as performed. We do not care about your precious feelings of one Thrawn versus the other. We aren’t coming on to your blog to discuss it, unless you traipse through ours and act an ass. For that, as hard as we worked to GET THRAWN IN STAR WARS after Disney created “Legends” from the SWEU, despite what you think or fathom about us, our entire amounts of GAF about that is low. We got one character — THRAWN — put back into mainline Disney canon.

Talent Showcase Africa Playlist Alerts: Email, WhatsApp & Telegram Groups

In this short blog post I want to bring you up to spead with how the Talent Showcase Africa Playlist is evolving. 

So far we have two shows running on Nam Radio Local at 1800 CAT and ENERGY100 fm at 2100 CAT every Friday, and before the shows go live we would usually send out an email alert to our 6.4K email mailing list. 

In addition, we send out individual private emails to all the artists that are appearing on the show that Friday. We also send notifications to our WhatsApp and Telegram Groups. 

But what I’d very much like to do next is to do away with the private emails and to have all of this streamlined so that notifications are exclusively via that email newsletter. But you’d have to be subscribed to the list (to subscribe click here). And you have to make sure that you’re regularly checking your mail to know what’s happening. 

FREE Radio Airplay Submission Guidelines 

IF you know you have submitted your music for FREE Radio Airplay consideration, make sure you keep an eye on your email for the Nam Radio Newsletter, WhatsApp & Telegram messages. 

When your music is selected for airplay, it will first flight on the TSA Playilst via Nam Radio Local and in the next couple of weeks it will air on ENERGY100 fm.

exposure : she’s in the middle of a snack, one of her increasingly rare treats, when it happens. the tv is interrupted with an emergence, her attention is caught pretty quickly after that. she’s never seen the vampire before and she compels away her snack in frustration : a thousand years she’s kept this secret, and some baby vampire couldn’t hold their fangs for a fraction of that. fangatics, she’s always hated them, and if this isn’t cleaned up quickly it’ll be more trouble than she’s ever seen.  things don’t get cleared up,  they get worse.  she heads towards her family, triads on the lookout for daylight jewellery and thankfully she doesn’t need that and it’s what gets her to her family. she even manages to slip between both sides before it escalates into actual war and she’s caught for what she is. she’s caught a year into the war and gets away before they can try to find a new way to kill an original and from then on she has to fight like the rest of them. 

she’s in new orleans, controlling the mikaelson compound, ready to travel to mystic falls in a heartbeat if she’s needed. she’s seen a thousand years, she can plan how to fight back and keep their home secure. she is NOT a babysitter !  her job isn’t looking after little supernaturals, she manages the base but she leads frequent attacks on triad soldiers too.  she doesn’t believe in mercy, she believes in ending the war, and as far as she’s concerned that means killing as many soldiers as she can and turning any human that shows up at their gates.    she had been living a rather calm few centuries before the war but, though she’s reluctant to admit it, it’s given her a perfect excuse to fall into the classic mikaelson ways she misses.
