Anyway so I believe Luis is a pretty confident and caring fellow (as opposed to how many think he's a weirdo based on the ar emails) honestly looking at that he really just seems like he cares a lot for Vanessa's well being, even going as far to show his attempt at understanding how negativity affects people based on how it effects him. I'd imagine he's insanely sure of himself when it involves any technical work as opposed the physical mechanic work. He probably sounds a bit arrogant about it at times though it's not malicious.

Yeah  they made the feral predator way too hot. The credits came on and I immediately went to Ao3 like “let’s see what the girlies have to say about thissssss” 🤭 I saw the original predator almost a decade ago and as much as I liked it, never would of guessed I’d be here now 🙂

Turns ouuuuut, I actually have more to sayyyyy, but you don’t have to respond: I feel bad bc I don’t have an Ao3 account so I can never comment, but Gorl if I did, id have a whole essay for every chapter, including reaction images 😤. Ik you aren’t currently writing from Ta'Kesh’s POV (which is perfectly fine lol), but I really appreciated how you did so. The predator POV is so fun to read, they’re just so damn cold and pragmatic and just ALIEN yk? (Ta’kesh makes me laugh bc he’s such a lil psycho lol). At least when done right I think. The dynamic you have set up is really interesting, like I love a good slow burn enemies to friends to lovers, but the cultural differences and species hierarchy sets it up for some really fascinating (JUICY) interactions/character development. I was unfortunate enough to come upon your story very early, there aren’t many other fics that hold up to the standard you set! (Have you read The Devil You Know? One of the only other quality fics I’ve found that seems to accurately portray that sort of dynamic- 10/10 recommend). 

But anyway, the arrogance, the entitlement, just the cold bluntness makes predator fic so engaging to me. When you take a person with that deeply ingrained of a mindset (that’s another aspect I love, the question of whether or not yautjas are innately “predatory” or if it’s largely due to cultural upbringing) and force them to interact with with someone they deem inferior in a way they never have had to before (and there was only ONE BED heheh) I’m eating that shit up with 2 hands like GOOD SOUP!!😤😤😤

 I appreciate it even more with a quality OC and I like Charlie a lot. I really struggle with reader/you fics bc beyond me just being like “lol I would not do that”, I like having an established character to root for :). She has an interesting past that you’ve managed to portray in an appealing and unostentatious way. Reminds me of Rust cohle from True Detective.  I like that she’s very brave, but not to the point of ridiculousness lol. She has her moments where she’s able to act courageously in order to try to survive, but still gets intimidated/scared (extremely valid) sometimes with the big ass scary aliens. Do you have anyone in mind for how she looks?

I stopped his POV just cause I felt like I was backtracking and I'm already so slow (rip sorry) but I really do want to come back to it in the future just to have fun revealing his inner workings (cause sometimes I be writing things and giggling like pookie is such a brat and then I remember y'all can't hear the goofy ass voices in my head and you only know the story I show you) but yes yes their differences are gonna play out in so many ways that I just can't wait for 😇 AND YES IVE READ FRIGGY one of the few I made it all the way through and then had to literally have a whole moment to process that there wasn't a second part 😗😗 sick I tell you, sick,, but I completely understand the not being able to read FPOV or self insert because of the "ummm I would never" --- because that's EXACTLY how I started writing 💀😭 I was chatting w my friend and we were like ok but isn't it kinda weird how fast some of these fmc just like... accept the whole ass murder crab men? also--- how do they survive well in space and from there Charlie was born ahahahHA I was like ok but what if I made it realistic for bits (as realistic as scifi can be) and then asked people to suspend their disbelief for the fun bits like the space pond and the tail n shit 🤭🤭

here's a silly WIP for an ao3 fic I'm making

chapter 1 —————— All 9 of the hashiras, retired or not(kyojuro is retired here for the plot), have been called for a meeting by the master. Everyone was extremely confused why they were called for a meeting, while nothing important has happened, even Himejima-san who Oyakata-sama tells everything to most of the time.

"Tomioka-san! It's very rude to insult someone, and you should apologize to Iguro-san." Kocho had been scolding Tomioka for 'starting' the 'fight' with Iguro from earlier.

"Kocho, he was the one who went too far. He's insulting me and telling to fuck off every chance he gets. He's like 'yeah you suck because you never talk and you think you're better, even though I have zero evidence that that's true. I sit in a tree all day telling people what to doo, ohhh I'm so cool even though I'd kill everyone except Kanroji and maybe Shinazugawa!!' He really sounds stupid, you knoe?" Giyu had started rambling about how arrogant Iguro sounds every time he even come 6 feet in the vicinity of the serpent hashira.

"Woah! This is the most I've ever heard you talk, Tomioka-san! That's great but please apologize to him." Kocho is clearly trying to get him to apologize just so she can just go off and sit in peace, Giyu for some reason can always tell by her expressions. He's surprised no one has noticed that she's not very good at hiding emotions, really.

"No, I'll just be heading to sit down to hear all this bickering. I'll just wait for Oyakata-sama so we can get this meeting done with." Tomioka had gotten up to go to the other side of the courtyard because he tired out of these air-headed people(no he's our silly little airhead), and no one really stopped him anyways.

"Okay, fine, Tomioka-san! Just try to be more open, please! Maybe people won't dislike you so much!" Kocho liked to tease him this way because she thought this shit was funny as hell. Y'know, she has a foul mouth, and only uses in her office because no one wants to hear people say that.

"Kocho! I told you to stop saying that!" Tomioka wasn't furious, him and Kocho bicker all the time. Sometimes for shits and giggles, and sometimes because they both had some pent up anger to bombard each other with(they see it as a fun exercise, while everyone stares in disbelief at how they insult each other so much and are not affected.)

Oyakata-sama finally arrived after the hashira waiting for a good 10ish minutes. All of the hashira got into places to greet their respective master.

"I'm sure that you guys are wondering why I have called you for the meeting this morning." Oyakata-sama spoke to the hashira as he appeared in front of them. "I've actually come here to make an announcement, sorry I kept you waiting for longer than expected."

5 - On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

🦐 - Yuna always has weird rocks and marbles in her pockets. You never know when you might need something you can hit or throw in a pinch, yk? She also always keeps a small wallet in there full of her favorite photos. She absolutely refuses to show anyone the photos, though (they're all candids of her best friends).

♌ - Izem, being the guy he is, ALWAYS has some manner of buttons or patches in his pockets in case he comes across someone looking to join the sheep. He also keeps some loose first aid supplies (a tube of Neosporin and some loose bandaids) and a small sewing kit on hand. Being friends with Melodia contributed to one, whereas being friends with Newt, Oli, and Georgie contributed to the other fjrjjfjfjd.

🦜 - Rusul probably keeps a ton of spare change in his pocket. Couple sorcents short of a madol? He's got you covered. He also prefers to keep his Sheep pin in his pocket. He would wear it on his uniform, but he couldn't get it to look right, yk? He also has a scrap of silk in his pocket - fine, velvety, smooth; a luxury item. How such a valuable scrap came into his possession no one knows, not that many people would even know about it in the first place.

20 - In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

🎩- Oh Lewis. Oh dear, sweet, darling Lewis. What is there to say about him? He's CONSTANTLY comparing himself to everyone around him, whether he shows it or not. Everyone is better than him in some way. Maybe they're smarter than him, like his housewarden or the Prefect. Or maybe they're more courageous, like those rambunctious first years in his dorm. Maybe they're more well put-together, like that stupid octopus in the board game club... Or like James. He doesn't want to show it, but he's very insecure when he considers how much... Better everyone else is compared to him. He tries to "not get too full of himself" by constantly comparing himself to others. Says it "keeps a guy like him humble", but really, it only serves to make him more insecure.

🐁- James compares himself to others mainly as a form of building himself up. He's very insecure deep down, so he often has to compare himself to others and acts arrogant and conceited as a side effect of that. Despite that, though, he can't help but compare himself to his more laid-back peers; especially Lewis. Sure, he might criticize his friend for how easygoing he might be, but James is secretly jealous of this calm and relaxed nature. He wonders if people would like him more if he were more like Lewis. In a way, his comparisons to others are both for self-validation AND self-criticism.

🌙- Casimir doesn't really compare himself to his family often, it's more that he's compared to them by others, but it occasionally seeps into him and he will criticize himself for it. Really, though, he actually does it far more often when considering OTHER people- his peers. He can't speak like them, nor can he act like them or be "normal" like them. It serves perpetual reminder of how different he is from others. Sometimes it's a good thing, in his eyes, but most of the time it isn't.

It’s’a Headcanon’a 

1: What does their bedroom look like?

Yk what. Im gonna doodle an image for this. It will be shitty but bear with me.

This is what her hotel room looks like!! And what isn’t shown is the fucking shit she just has everywhere. Her bed is usually covered in plushies or pillows, her dresser has little knick knacks and framed photos of her brothers and her new friends now, I talked about before her vanity mirror is FULL of mementos and also littered with makeup. Which MORE can be found in her bathroom. On her walls she has posters, usually fashion ones or some old commercial posters from the 40s or 30s, and also more framed pictures. Her night stand holds an alarm clock, her phone, and sometimes her diary but it’s usually locked in her vanity drawer.

13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?

She identifies as ifi, Italian for Italian-- no but she’s a bisexual lady and knew from a young age she was but.. Didn’t know or have a label for it until high school!! And even then she was pretty closeted until college when she had more experimental, secret flings but it wasn’t much. Iirc I remember I said she had in total of three women partners in her life that didn’t go very far.. I recall one in college she had for a year until they had to move outta state to finish their degree :( As for what she thinks on the subject she.. Finds it pretty interesting kind of? How it’s such a spectrum of people’s choices and such, and feels like there shouldn’t be such a restriction or stigma around what someone wants to label themselves as you know she’s just like. Who cares to each their own ... italian hand gesture.

21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs?

Turn ons: Clowns. Gentlemanly, good sense of humor/silly, sharp teeth/claws, power, pet names, Italians, Women in general, romantic, apparently emotional baggage/damage -- KAJDF, posessiveness but lowkey, and twinks. (scientifically proven I might add-)
