THEN i shall post' or etc. etc. lol. NOT even taking into account the many days #I just genuinely and physically sick and it's not even a mental thing. Tumblr, Twitter (X?) bluesky? Something else?

I think I'm going to have to go with tumblr, and it's not just because we're here. Twitter and Bluesky are nice and my experiences on both are overwhelmingly positive. But tumblr has an atmosphere that encourages originality, sharing your creations and talking about things in depth.

#I dislike the mindset of making “content” and when I'm posting here I don't feel like I have to tailor my posts to be #as easily consumable by as many people as possible #microblogging platforms are fast paced and you're constantly fighting the algorithm #making long text posts is inconvenient and usually not worth the trouble #so I rarely talk about my characters or their lore outside of tumblr #what's nice is that when you ramble about your personal projects and fictional fixations here people tend to be pretty receptive to it #like they Get These Feelings and are able to analyze and read between the lines really well at least if you ask me #on top of that customizing your browsing experience and curating an organized blog is easier #and above everything I love and cherish tumblr's tag culture #very often the best commentary I get comes from tags #answered #anonymous #instagram continues to give me bad vibes and going there has always felt like a chore

Look, there are 647 toad species in 53 genera, and I have seen many of them, some of which are truly glorious. So it is hard for me to say that any one is the best I have ever seen. But to just choose one group for the sake of argument:

I am a huge fan of animals evolving mittens instead of fingers, like what we see in bolitoglossid salamanders and the web-footed sand gecko, Pachydactylus rangei. In toads, the arboreal African genus Nectophryne have done this gloriously. And they're also exceptionally cute for true bufonids.

I'd be so curious to know if houses have a hard time selling because of owner-decorated political parafinelia in listing photos or neighboring-house political signs.

Like. I know there has to be some precedent of it. People have always been picky about their neighborhoods/neighbors. But I wonder if there's like traced statistics on the matter.

When realtors don't get a sale do they have to report a reason? Is there an option for 'buyer didn't like the vibes/neighbors/didn't want a former trump supporter house'

the fact i can stay up for over 24 hrs while already running on less than 10 hrs of sleep before that and still have yet to be a normal about of tired is both surprising and FUCKING ANNOYING

#god someone sedate me #like i dont wanna go to sleep bc i dont feel tired and i cant begin to go to sleep unless i feel tired otherwise i wont sleep as fast #my eyes feel heavy but not in a sleepy way idk. i can feel my brain detereorating as we speak BUT I CANT BRING MYSELF TO FUCKING SLEEP #if i get temporary insomnia because of fKN JAYVIK??? idk what i'll do but i will be shocked either way #which yes thats part of the reason ive been staying up all week its to browse the jayvik tag n lose track of time #but also i tried to go to sleep yesterday bc i was tired and i woke up like 4 hours later and couldnt sleep again so thats annoying #even when i try i cant do it HAHA but yeah i think ive been awake for over 24hrs which makes abt <10hrs combined for like 3 days #also ive saw some shadows move so thats how that is going rn HAHA #so im doing great and my mental health is at an all time high🫠👍🏻#i'll take a melatonin gummy and see how that works out i guess. at least i dont work tomorrow lmao (or i guess today now technically)
