Not a question, but me thanking you for reminding people that mae is chubby! Mae would definitely be a chubby adorable cat!

of course!! people drawing mae skinny is an issue that’s bothered me a lot within the nitw community. as someone who’s on the chubbier side, it’s very disheartening. though i feel like it’s more people overlooking how she describes herself rather than doing it out of malice, so i felt it was important to remind people

i also feel like people forget just how many body types exist in the world. just because mae doesn’t appear as big as character’s like angus, for example, doesn’t mean that she isn’t in the mid-size to plus-size range herself. there are more body types in the world than ones that fit size a S and ones that fit a size 6XL; it’s important that people of every body type get represented
