I hate how when a skinny girl wears an outfit that exposes her bellybutton, it's considered "trendy" and "cute", but when a fat girl like me does it, it's considered "trashy" and "sloppy" -_-

Tomorrow we fly from our little airport in Florida to Atlanta to San Francisco for my work trip, and I'm SO PUMPED to leave from here.

The airport is so small that I'm convinced we'll be, like, the only flight leaving from there at that time. I highly doubt they have Clear, which I live for at the NYC airports, but I don't think it even matters when the security line should be so short!

What's funny is that it actually takes a little longer to fly from Atlanta to San Francisco than from NYC, plus we have the layover, but I don't even caaaaaaaare. I'm so tired of my massively busy airports right now.

PLUS, I've been getting groped so much by TSA in NYC lately. It never happens anywhere else we go, but when we're leaving from one of the NYC airports, I ALWAYS get pulled aside for an "extra screening" that involves fully touching every single part of my torso and chest. It's actually not my favorite thing to have some woman rub her gloved hands along my lady parts early in the morning.

I assume it's because I've been extra fat this year, but the fact that no other city nor country feels the need to do this to me makes me a little grossed out by my own city. Just get better scanning machines if you're so worried about drug mules.

So, really looking forward to seeing if tomorrow is any better here in Florida! And looking forward to all of the snacks in the Atlanta airport lounge, of course.

As a fat girl, it's always hard to tell if a thin person is willingly talking to me, talking to me out of pity, secretly mocking me, or if they're actually trying to have a real, genuine conversation.

feels like there's only two types of fashion for fat people

there's clothes for thin people but big. they're tight in some places and too loose in others because their designers seem to have no idea that we have different proportions, and then the stuff that does fits seems like it was designed specifically to hide as much of our bodies as possible.

That's why I hate clothes shopping so much, I already know everything interesting isn't going to fit, and everything that fits is gonna make me look like homer simpson

It's absolutely degrading, exhausting, and makes me ashamed of my body every single time. That's why almost all my clothes are like 3-5 years old, that's why I cycle through the same 5 outfits day after day.

decent clothes for a body like mine are just that rare.

Speaking as a fat gal who's one week away from Aunt flo coming to visit, nothing agitates me more than coming home from work late at night tired, sore and hungry, only to find out that my younger brother has eaten my food 😑

This bitch is laying in bed right now, catching flies might I add, with a full stomach. He's happy as Larry while I am hungry and annoyed. I want something quick to eat. It's almost 1am and I'm exhausted, but I've not eaten since 6pm. I look for my instant noodles, and they're gone. I look for my frozen pizzas, and they're gone too. The ham is gone also, and I don't want a plain cheese sandwich. I want a ham and cheese sandwich with mayo and a little Dijon mustard. But I can't have that because it must have the ham. It's not the same without it. 😤

I'm hangry and I'm going to bed hangry. Kieran if you see this, fuck you and start buying you're own groceries.
