Uhhh . . I mean, there are a lot of AU’s I would LIKE to make but also, many of those just . . Wouldn’t feel realistic with Artemis because of who she is. It would be kinda hard to incorporate her into many other universes because of who she is canonically but . . Considering my roots partially lie in the fandom, a F/ire emble/m AU would be interesting, I think.

Mal stood stock still as the creature growled and snarled, holding her position even as it passed out and not moving for a few minutes still. This couldn’t possibly be good by any stretch...

The woman...creature? Was still breathing from what she could tell, but it was labored, ragged. Transforming quickly, she stood over her unconscious form and hooked her arms beneath hers dragging them the rest of the way to the water. 

An extremely longshot in her mind that submerging her would do anything more than make her wet and unconscious but surely she was headed that way for a reason. Besides, bringing the monster hybrid to a hospital, the more she thought on it, opened a whole other host of issues.  Like if they decided to try and detain her, or she woke up in a confused rage and started tearing through patients and staff.  Yeah, she’d definitely hold off on that option until she’d exhausted all others. 

Finally making it to the body of water, Mal lowered her feet first into it, stopping only when her shoulders upward were above water level. “Ah...does that...feel better...?” Boy, was she starting to feel silly holding this body half submerged in the water, but she decided to wait a bit longer for some sort of change, wary of any movement.
