Sorry I know nothing about armour. I had tried to ask around but couldn't find an answer. That armour plate looked like a 琐子甲(环锁) which was reconstructed by 温陈华 based on a Song dynasty book, so perhaps a Song or closer. The belt looked Tang style, while the armour was worn above a tieli (Ming style), probably some sort of feiyufu.
this had been sitting in my folder for aaaages so i decided to finally finish it 😅 just take a look at these disney looking motherfuckers! are they lounging after doing some godly sports such as...er...riding heavenly horses, i guess?? mu qing smiles at feng xin, but only when fx's eyes are closed 🥺 also the pattern on fx's robes looks like the golden fishy from this cartoon version of pla boo thong i saw once, it was not my intention but here we are ;A;
A man demonstrating use of a 锤子/chuizi (hammer/mace). In the first half of the video he is wearing 飞鱼服/feiyufu (flying fish uniform), a type of hanfu originating in the Ming dynasty. At the end of the video he is wearing armor.
According the op, the chuizi weighs 8 jin (~4kg; ~8.8lb) and the armor weighs 38 jin (~19kg; ~41.9lb)
