It’s recitation time, fam 😁! One question I get asked quite often is, who is my teacher?! Well, I am happy to announce the news that I’ve finally begun studying with someone! Mohammed Mousazadeh 👉 @mousazademo is a young gentleman based out of Tehran who has a voice out of this world, MashaAllah! I came across one of his videos and was blown away, so I reached out and he has graciously accepted me as a student. To give you all a taste of what we have been working on together, here’s a partial recitation of “Al-Fatiha,” (the first chapter of the Qur’an) in the style of the legendary Shahat Mohammed Anwar. Happy Friday everyone! Here is the final product of the Menshawi recitation I worked on with you all in my IGLives… as you can see it took around 22 hours just to learn it, and then probably another 6 hours or so of review to get it to this point. It is not 100% perfect even now, but I decided to share anyways because I am ready to move on to another recitation. May all of our efforts be rewarded AMEEN. Sorry the translation doesn’t fit here. وأضافت: “استغرق الأمر حوالي 22 ساعة لتعلمها، ثم ربما 6 ساعات أخرى أو نحو ذلك من المراجعة للوصول إلى هذا النقطة”.

وتابعت أن “قراءتها ليست مثالية بنسبة 100٪ حتى الآن، لكنها قررت المشاركة على أي حال.. لأنها مستعدة للانتقال إلى تلاوة أخرى”.

AlHamthulillah. #This Ramadan is full of many activities. One of the event of #supersaturday of this #blessed Ramadan. Attending 3 events in a short interval via two different platform is not possible without the blessings of Almighty Allah and my Dad’s Support.,Subhanallah! #Technology failed to connect to perform first at the #globalqiratcompetition By the @minhajwelfareofficial despite pre set up and setting. Everyone has their own way of finding inner peace .I can find a bunch of calming verses in the #Quran that will help guide us throughout our life. One of the promises from Almighty is available in the #surahbaqarah . “ALLAH DOES NOT BURDEN A SOUL BEYOND THAT IT CAN BEAR” (2:286) لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا It is important to understand that every hardship that we face in life is a test from Allah (s.w.t). It is a test of patience, devotion and trust in Allah (s.w.t). With that test and challenge, we must implicate this verse from Surah Al-Baqarah into our lives. Allah (s.w.t) does not burden anyone with any trouble in which they are unable, physically or mentally, to bear. This means that regardless of the situation, Allah (s.w.t) is choosing to test us with that challenge because He knows that we can get through it : that we are strong enough. So trust in that, trust in that strength that Allah (s.w.t) gives us. Because after the storm, comes a rainbow.
