  ¡Wow wow wow! ¿Qué podemos decir? La respuesta al Festival de Arte de Lanzarote ha sido increíble y nos enorgullece anunciar que tenemos más de 150 artistas participantes de más de 45 países de todo el mundo. Los artistas han recibido correos electrónicos informándoles de los próximos pasos para garantizar que todos los trabajos lleguen con nosotros antes de la fecha límite del 10 de julio. Las traducciones en español de este correo electrónico de aceptación están disponibles en línea en nuestro sitio web: www.thelacunastudios.com Se está preparando un catálogo del festival y se pueden solicitar copias por 6 € cada una enviando un correo electrónico a thelacunastudios@gmail.com. Se solicitará el pago en las próximas semanas y la entrega de los catálogos se realizará después del festival en agosto. Muchos artistas ya han estado en contacto para decirnos que están entregando obras a mano, que están llegando a la apertura del festival o planean pasar tiempo en Lanzarote durante el festival. Si está planeando venir a Lanzarote y está interesado en ofrecer un taller, charlas de artistas, seminarios, conferencias o presentaciones, háganoslo saber y le prepararemos un calendario de eventos. NB: Tenga en cuenta que no hay tarifa de artista disponible para eventos. Como sin duda sabrán, este es un festival totalmente no financiado. Simon y yo, así como el equipo de Parto Cerebral, estamos ofreciendo voluntariamente todo nuestro tiempo libremente. Estamos tratando con muchos administradores en forma de correos electrónicos que son simplemente de mucho tiempo, pero también estamos imprimiendo trabajos enviados digitalmente, enmarcando piezas, comprando herramientas y colgando aparatos, diseñando y publicando un catálogo, preparando equipos técnicos para ser prestado, instalado y mantenido para la noche de apertura, eventos y durante todo el festival, preparando una recepción de vino para la noche de apertura y mucho, mucho más. Todo lo cual nos está costando dinero de nuestros propios bolsillos. The response to the Lanzarote Art Festival has been amazing and we are proud to announce that we have over 150 artists participating from over 45 countries from around the world. If you are planning to come over to Lanzarote and are interested in offering a workshop, artist’s talk, seminar, lecture or performance then please do let us know and we will draw up a schedule of events. NB: Please be aware there is no artist fee available for events.As you are no doubt aware, this is an entirely unfunded festival. Simon and I, as well as the team at Parto Cerebral are volunteering all of our time freely. We are dealing with lots of admin in the forms of emails which is simply time heavy but we are also printing works out that have been sent digitally, framing pieces, buying tools and hanging apparatus, designing and publishing a catalogue, arranging for technical equipment to be borrowed, installed and maintained for the opening night, events and throughout the festival, preparing a wine reception for the opening night and much, much more. Inaugura Secretaria de la Juventud festival de arte y cultura del CECyTEQ

La secretaria de la Juventud, Virginia Hernández Vázquez, encabezó la inauguración del XX Festival Estatal de Arte y Cultura 2022, organizado por el Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado de Querétaro (CECyTEQ), el cual busca contribuir a la formación integral de las y los estudiantes de la institución.

La funcionaria estatal destacó que esta iniciativa tiene como objetivo impulsar el talento y creatividad de la juventud queretana mediante el arte y la cultura, a fin de que logren su desarrollo integral. “Es a través de la construcción de espacios como este que lograremos que las juventudes puedan acceder a las herramientas necesarias para alcanzar el desarrollo integral que los lleve al siguiente nivel”, añadió.

El director del CECyTEQ, Luis Fernando Pantoja Amaro, agradeció al plantel Montenegro por ser anfitrión del evento y señaló que el arte y la cultura crean convicciones, ideología y pensamiento a la juventud, lo que servirá para que tengan más y mejores herramientas que les ayuden a desenvolverse en la vida profesional y personal. En este festival participaron alumnos de los 12 planteles que hay en el estado, quienes demostraron su talento en las categorías de poesía, declamación, cuento corto, oratoria, canto, pintura, escultura y ajedrez.

• @lacunafestivals DISTANCE - Festival theme for 2021 Open Call is LIVE for the LACUNA FESTIVALS 2021. The theme this year is a suggestion from our creative community and one that feels globally appropriate for the current context of the year - DISTANCE. This year the @festivaldeartefuerteventura and @festivaldeartelanzarote will again, as in 2020, take place over distance due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. We will be using a range of online platforms including YouTube, ArtSteps, Flickr, Facebook and Instagram. Debido a las circunstancias de público conocimiento el III Festival Internacional de Colonia 2020, ofrecerá sin costo, cinco programas diferentes en nuestra página web FestivalColonia.org/2020​, del 11 al 15 de Noviembre a las 20 hs. El Canal 5 (TNU) transmitirá los cinco programas los sábados 14, 21 y 28 de noviembre y el 5 y 12 de diciembre a las 20:30 hs y el Canal 3 de Colonia los mismos días a las 22 hs. Radio Babel (97.1 o Babel.uy) transmitirá dos programas de música el sábado 14 y domingo 15 de noviembre a las 22 hs. El programa del miércoles 11 incluye la presentación de las obras seleccionadas y premiadas en la II Bienal Colonia (concurso virtual de artistas uruguayos en pintura, grabado, dibujo y fotografía; organizado por el festival y curado por un jurado internacional) con música grabada en los festivales 2018 y 2019. El jueves 12 incluye videos de Colonia del Sacramento y de música clásica, tango, jazz y folclore. El viernes 13 mostramos diferentes partes de Uruguay y videos de destacados músicos uruguayos e internacionales. El sábado 14 visitamos Montevideo y les mostramos actuaciones de músicos y actores grabados durante los dos primeros festivales.
