I've wanted to play the Final Fantasy games for a while now and I've always thought Lightning is so pretty! So to get the chance to play as her? 😍

What can I say? For $8, I am weak. 🤷‍♀️😂😉

I do also have FFXV waiting to go as soon as I have a spare 105 GB and change (YIKES) free on the ol' hard drive.

This Final Fantasy vid by angelix is actually the very first I ever saw (18 years ago? 👀!!!) that was made from game cutscenes/footage and my mind was BLOWN. I didn't even know it was possible to capture/record footage like that and it was the most beautiful thing I'd seen! 😉So getting to play a FF game is something that feels really special and sentimental to me. 💖💖💖

Of course, if you knew me in 2017, you'd know I fell in love with and got to vid the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV movie, which brought me my beloved Nyx and Lunafreya and that was like a beautiful coming full circle moment for me.

Anyway, I'm actually doing a decent job of going through my game backlog, I think. As soon as I've played through and either 100%'ed the game or just am done with it for now, I've gone ahead and uninstalled to free up some space. I'm about halfway through The Quarry at the moment and am enjoying it a lot (and am getting slightly better at the Quicktime events, lol). I'll probably go for at least one more playthrough to see if I can 100% it or just to see some of the other outcomes. We'll see!

The only games that aren't going anywhere are my comfort trio: Halo MCC, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster and Mass Effect: Andromeda. They're just my ride or die. 😎👍
