Day 15/30 of final semester:

Still working thorough audit questions and still sick but hey what can you do you know? After much struggle, I did make it to a new coffee shop today! The vibes were very interesting but the chairs were comfy and the coffee was tasty. Got some good studying done there too and then came home to do more studying. A very fun Saturday night.

Day 24/30 of final semester:

Y’all I spent over six hours in the library today! A good bit of it was hanging out with friends trying to figure out how to work on our group project only to realize the instructions are messed up. We’ll tell the professor tomorrow and hopefully he’ll just scrap the project all together since we’ve only got a week left. I took one of the five quizzes for his class and made a 100 and finished a book for my other class so today was very productive! It may be because I got seven and a half hours of sleep last night but considering I still fell asleep in class today I don’t think that was it. Maybe I’ve finally realized I have one week to do too much work and I’m going to need to step it up if I want to make the grades I want.

Day 10/30 of final semester:

Finally made it out of my bed and to the library to study. I had an exam today that I procrastinated studying for and had to cram all my studying in in this morning. But I think I still did well enough! I also took my senior graduation photos today with my cap and gown. Absolutely wild how close graduation is.

Day 03/30 of final semester:

Apparently the only way to get over senioritis is to do all my studying from my bed. I got some homework turned in, some studying done, and went for a two mile walk after class so a pretty productive day but it could have been better.

Day 29/30 of final semester:

Well this is it! The last night before the last exam. By 2 pm tomorrow I will be done with school forever and the only thing that will be left is graduation on Friday. I spent almost six hours studying today but to be honest I still don’t feel ready for this exam. I reviewed the first three chapters fully and only half of the fourth/last chapter plus I didn’t get a chance to memorize all 15 possible journal entries I may need to fully write out as free response tomorrow. There’s always that slight chance my professor doesn’t actually give us an exam because he know this is our last exam of college but I don’t think he’s going to do that. My goal is to get about 4 hours of sleep in and finish reviewing the fourth chapter and attempt to memorize the journal entries before the exam at 9 am. So close!

Day 20/30 of final semester:

Enjoy a pic in this slightly creepy and musty study room in the basement in of my school’s library. All the books back there are in German and are locked up for some reason. There’s a white board in this room so some of my friends and I met in here today to write out charts and journal entries for our exam tomorrow morning. Did two quizzes today and made a 100 on one and a 70 on the other but at this point I’m so over school that I really can’t bring myself to care. I spent a lot of the day studying for this exam tomorrow but I could have done more. But yet, over it haha

Day 26/30 of final semester:

I sat in the library for about three hours today and worked on questions for my government/non-for-profit exam next Tuesday. There are quizzes due on Sunday night and there are four of them so I got the second one done today and made a 100 while starting to work on the questions for the next quiz. Tomorrow I’m going to look at apartments and then heading home to celebrate Mother’s Day with my parents. I’m so excited to look for apartments and get ready to start this next chapter of my life!

Day 06/30 of final semester:

Home for the weekend due to classes being canceled and a couple of holidays. No rest though as I have my audit exam on Monday and my quantitative analysis exam on Wednesday. Hoping to make it to my favorite coffee shop tomorrow!

Day 07/30 of final semester:

Made it to the coffee shop today! My mom came and sat with me and needle pointed while I studied for my audit exam. I got a lot done but it wasn’t nearly enough and I’m going to be working all day tomorrow too. Might go back to the coffee shop if I can since I feel like a got a lot of good work done there today.

Day 05/30 of final semester:

My auditing professor decided to move our midterm exam from this Thursday to next Monday which I am eternally grateful for. Now I don’t have to work myself to the bone studying! But now I do have two midterms on the same day but that’s still doable.

Day 30/30 of final semester:

I took my last ever exam of college today and turned in my last ever collage assignment. And I did it all on four hours of sleep! Which I end up now regretting since I made an 84 on my final exam and could have made about a 75 and still made an A- in the class. Final grades come out tomorrow at 9 am but I do think my final college gpa will be a 3.69 which is pretty good! It’s taken me a while get over and be proud of that gpa but it is a good gpa and it took a lot of work to achieve so I am proud of it! All that’s left is capping on Thursday (my school’s tradition) and graduation on Friday!!

Day 16/30 of final semester:

Oops disappeared for a few days my bad. I do that with every study challenge but as long as I don’t miss like 3 or so more days then I should be good. I took my auditing final and made a 91 which puts me at an A in that class! In my last three weeks of school I’ve started two brand new classes due to how my major is set up so these last study posts will be about governmental and non-for profit accounting and financial accounting theory. So close yet so far to graduation and no more class forever!

Day 28/30 of final semester:

After Mother’s Day brunch, I drove back to campus and did a three hour study session with some friends. I also took my last quiz for government and non-for-profit and made a 100! Now all that’s left is the exam on Tuesday and finishing up the cpa course for my theory class. By Tuesday afternoon I will officially be done with school forever. I kept bothering my friends saying this was our last Sunday night on campus and tomorrow is our last Monday on campus and so on. But it just hits me all the time that this is it. My last everythings of college keep coming faster and faster and I just need everything to slow down a good bit.

Day 01/30 of final semester:

Classes started today for mini-mester. There’s going to be a lot of work to do with two full semester classes being shoved into a three week time period, but it’s nice to get back into familiar study habits!

Day 23/30 of final semester:

I had both my classes today and both went well! After class we had a celebratory reception for all the business and accounting graduates followed by all of the seniors taking turns ringing the school bell as a tradition to signify finishing college even though I still have a week left of class. For non-accounting majors today was the last day of class and tomorrow is a reading day before exams start up on Wednesday. But I only have one exam on the 16th so I’m still in class until then. I didn’t get as much work done today as I hoped to but I am going to be getting more sleep tonight.

Day 18/30 of final semester:

Did a lot today but I found some time to carve out to study for governmental and nonprofit and take a quick quiz and make a 100! I need to do some work on financial accounting theory but the professor is not keeping up with our progress. She only wants to see how far we get at the end which means I have no motivation to do any of her work since I actually have hard deadlines for governmental and nonprofit. Like an exam this Wednesday. This week is going to be long but I feel like I can make it work!
