Kaladin in his rarest form: smiling! Nothing too fancy, just wanted to draw him in a less serious light for once. A few weeks ago @lamaery suggested a lighthearted interaction between Kal and Syl for my next Kal painting so if you like what you see, you have her to thank for this one! I originally meant this to be just a sketch but as usual I got a bit carried away and rendered some parts of it more than I initially intended to.

Submas Sketchdump Vol. 4 July 2022 Part 2!!
I knew that particular month beat my all time record for productivity multifold but I had forgotten SO MANY PIECES from the original collection!! I think I finally got them all?? More stuff under the cut!!
BREAKMAS!! WIP of the first piece I posted of them, here's the link to the final version! I tried coloring this first but the black & white had ultimately more impact so I went with that!
TRAINS!! I like this base color version too! Link to the final version!

The top sketch is a direct reference to Cluedo! A spinoff game, "Missingo", starring certain familiar characters trying to figure out what happened to Ingo/trying to prove their innocence in the case! Also WIP sketches for these two Breakmas comic pages!

As you may know I adore butlermas! For the classy and stylish look which appeals to me in general, and coincidentally I had played PLA & got hit by submas train only one week before butler Ingo's banner rolled out! The pure bliss of finally meeting both twins in a game I felt was incomparable!! This moment in the Curious Tea Party event was really entertaining to me! We got to see submas get serious and stand up against this selfish collector thief! Two towering train twinks with commanding voices looming over the unfortunate guy was enough to make him change his mind ahah! They truly are the protectors
1-hour submas challenge prompt "Descend"! This is the actual one hour result before I continued rendering this!
Mmmmm not my first attempt at drawing them hug and definitely not my best OR last. I want to make that moment something very special when I finally go all out on it!!
Comic cover vibing~
The scrapped last page for this silly comic! Sorry the dialogue is all over the place on the first piece, might be hard to read! I wasn't happy with how I presented Elesa, I wasn't familiar enough with her character back then so I thought of her carrying a toy taser to threat her friend even as a joke was too much and I couldn't come up with anything else for it. This held me back from posting the other three pages for another 5 months! In the last panel

I prefer to not mess up the twins too much but my brain is still very curious and conjures some peculiar stuff like this sometimes.. I think I may have broken his arms there looking at the anatomy, ooops! I hope you don't mind the photo quality or the two weird guys in the corner, they escaped containment!

Idea of warden Ingo, being projected to modern era by his Alakazam, walking through crowd on a train platform & Emmet standing inside a passing train. Their eyes meet for just a few seconds...
Pokemas Ingo practise!
Another WIP of a piece I posted! I started this piece like this but then later I decided to flip the whole thing.
YET another WIP of something I already posted! No idea why I went and mixed up his suits but I like this sketch! They rarely end up looking this clean haha
Sketch version of the self-defense practise piece! I love getting creative with action stuff! I barely ever think of how difficult they are to draw, I just get so excited and fixated on visualising the scenes in my mind I just keep at it, pull out refs and pose in front of mirrors until it looks good to me! I want to draw more action scenes but besides being challenging to draw my brain comes up with more silly and cute ideas than cool ones unfortunately ahah
One more WIP, here's the link to the final results!! I really like how genuine their expressions look here even if the faces are a little off. I recall spending a long time figuring out this perspective. I thought it would be fun to you to see how all these pieces started and... looking at the sketch above and the stuff before that, you can compare some range of my style!
RANDOM SUBMAS MISSILES GO
OHHH looks like some nasty passengers got the best of them!! If I recall correctly there was no fight because they managed to paralyse the two before they could act. Fully awake yet completely helpless... how convenient unfortunate. Thank you so much for checking these out!! Not every sketch is that exciting but I'm always happy to hear your thoughts on these!

i'll be over him when I'm dead okay
I have covid!! or at least my brother has it who I live with and I am very very sick! I'll be fine but I'm staying home from class to avoid spreading it so I finally got some time to finish up some drawings I've been sitting on 🥰 you guys should know I watch every single notification that comes in and smile and gush about them like a creeper so thank you as always, it really does mean a lot!! If I end up testing positive I imagine I'll be out of school for even longer so at least it'd be nice to have some time to draw & write I really really love how these ones came out, they were supposed to just be sketches and then I just kept going lmao. I've been experimenting with rendering more and more so hopefully you guys like it too! It feels like everyone's getting sick rn so stay healthy everyone! 💞💞 Happy Thursday!!

Happy 2 Year Anniversary!!!
This lovely little guy stems from @angelpuns Kid-Leo au! This illustration was made in Blender 3d and it was a lot of fun modeling Kid-Leo into 3d glory!
Behind the scenes under the cut:
Everything starts with a sketch and for me I had two options;
It was hard choosing which one; but I ultimately went with the one on the right as I felt like the posing would be a lot more fun to play around with in 3d!
Speaking of 3d; check the viewport view!
Yup; this is what it looks like before I add all the fun textures and what not. For my fellow blender nerds the final image was rendered in cycles at a sample of 500 with denoise OFF. I wanted the final vibe to feel like a game magazine so I like to render with the intention of having that dithering effect prepacked in there.
Tasty right? Well; you can't have Kid Leo without some stars to fill the void! After making my initial model I used particle systems to add floating stars and cookies that I modeled into the background. I especially love how the stars distort within the glass texture of Leo's tears :3
The blue background is simply a giant cube with a volumetric scatter shader to simulate fog; This part is what gave me the most trouble as I'm so indecisive that I didn't know what blues to go with! Eventually I settled for a darker blue as it really helped Leo's green skin POP. When it comes to art I always pay close attention to values.
Finally I pulled this baby into clip studio paint for the final touches; aka chromatic aberration and giving it a viewfinder border and then WABAM!
You've got yourself a Kid Leo.
This was a lot of fun. I've been making illustrations in Blender for a hot minute now but haven't shared or posted them due to wanting to make posts like this one explaining everything I did. That May 20th deadline really kicked my butt into high gear. In total I'd say I put about 10 hours of worktime into this; starting the day this dtiys was announced. Getting this done was all I could think about for a hot minute lol.
Final thoughts? This comic has been a real joy to follow and I can't wait to see what happens next. It's been so cool seeing how much the comics art has improved since the beginning and I really admire the dedication to giving us a Leo-centric story to enjoy. Here's to the next chapter!

hello :) could i ask for headcanons (separate) for how the guys from SOA (anyone you want :) i was thinking about Jax Juice Tig and Chibs but feel free to add or remove) would react to reader sketching them as they work on cars and bikes? i picture like darling reader working at the TM reception, no client is there and she really wants to practice her drawing skills so she just starts sketching the closest guy she can see? and maybe the guy notices or maybe sees the sketch in some way :) bonus point if said guy has a crush on her heheh thanks :)

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦
☾‧₊˚ ⋅ ― female reader. no description of features. no mentions of size, race or age.
🇲🇦🇮🇳 🇲🇦🇸🇹🇪🇷🇱🇮🇸🇹 💜🇸🇴🇦 🇲🇦🇸🇹🇪🇷🇱🇮🇸🇹
𝗝𝗮𝘅 ☾‧₊˚ ⋅
At first, he doesn't notice. He's too busy working on a Dyna, hands covered in grease, muscles flexing under the shop lights. You're sitting at the reception desk, sketchbook in hand, quietly focused.
He finally catches on when he comes up to grab a beer from the mini-fridge near your desk. As he leans over to snag one, his eyes drift to your sketchpad, and he sees a detailed rendering of him—brows furrowed in concentration, wrench in hand, looking effortlessly cool.
A cocky smirk spreads across his face. "Damn, darlin'. You been staring at me that hard?" His tone is teasing, but there's a definite glint of interest in his eyes.
He picks up the sketchbook, studying the drawing closely. "Shit, you're really good. Got me looking like some biker model."
Totally milks it. "If you wanted a close-up, all you had to do was ask," he adds with a wink.
He keeps bringing it up. Whenever you have a pencil in your hand, he jokes about "posing" for you—flexing a little harder when he knows you're watching.
If he's got a thing for you, he low-key asks Chibs or Opie if he should ask you out. And then he starts paying way more attention to how he looks when he works, knowing you might be sketching again.
𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗯𝘀 ☾‧₊˚ ⋅
Doesn't notice at first because he's deep in concentration. He's fixing up an old Harley, cigarette between his lips, brows furrowed. You think he looks perfect like this, so you start sketching.
Eventually, he glances up and catches you staring. He raises an eyebrow, smirking. "What are ye up to over there, lass?"
You try to hide the sketchbook, but it's too late. He walks over, wiping his hands on a rag, and gently pulls it from your grip.
His reaction? Pure admiration. "This is… bloody hell, lass. This is fantastic." He runs a finger over the page like he's afraid to smudge it.
Super touched that you chose him as your subject. "Didn't know I was a muse, but I like it."
If he has feelings for you, this moment cements them. There's something about seeing himself through your art that makes his heart clench.
"You should keep drawing me," he murmurs, giving you a look. "I like the way ye see me."
𝗧𝗶𝗴 ☾‧₊˚ ⋅
The moment he sees the sketch, he is dramatic.
"Oh my God, you're obsessed with me," he gasps, clutching his chest like he's been hit with an arrow. "I knew it."
Absolutely hams it up. Starts posing ridiculously, one foot up on a stool, chin tilted like he's in a Vogue photoshoot. "Here, get my good side."
Then he actually takes a proper look at the drawing… and he's shocked. It's not just some casual doodle—there's real detail, effort, and skill.
"Jesus Christ, doll… this is amazing." His voice drops an octave, suddenly more serious. He stares at the way you captured his expression, the way the shadows hit his face.
A rare moment of sincerity from Tig. He might joke around a lot, but seeing himself through your eyes—your eyes—hits different.
If he has a crush on you, this boosts his ego so much. He'll start showing off even more when working, flexing when he turns a wrench, throwing you smirks.
"If you ever wanna sketch me in the nude, just say the word." (He is 100% serious.)
𝗢𝗽𝗶𝗲 ☾‧₊˚ ⋅
Totally oblivious. He's focused on the bike in front of him, forearms flexing as he tightens a bolt. You, meanwhile, are in full-on artist mode.
Jax is actually the one who busts you. He walks by and sees what you're drawing, then loudly says, "Damn, Ope, you got a fan over here."
Opie turns, confused, and sees the sketch. He instantly gets all awkward. Scratches the back of his neck and looks down at his boots.
"You… you drew me?" His voice is quiet, almost unsure.
When he finally looks at the sketch, he's genuinely amazed. "Holy shit. This is really good."
If he has a thing for you, he is dying inside. Like, full internal panic. He already had a crush, and now you're sitting here drawing him like he's some kind of inspiration?
Tries to play it cool but fails. "So, uh… you just… draw people? Or just me?"
Keeps the sketch if you let him. He folds it up carefully and tucks it into his kutte, carrying it with him like a secret.
𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 ☾‧₊˚ ⋅
At first, he doesn't react at all. He's working on a custom bike, laser-focused, barely paying attention to anything else.
You don't even realize he knows until he speaks up. Without looking up, he says, "You been staring at me a long time, girl."
You freeze. The pencil in your hand stops moving. "Uh… I was just—"
He turns his head slightly, catching you in the act. One eyebrow raises. "You drawin' me?"
Happy is not a man of many words, but he's intrigued. He walks over, peers down at your sketch, and lets out a low chuckle.
"Damn. You made me look mean." He actually looks pleased.
If he has a crush, this messes him up. He doesn't get flustered, but he does start watching you more closely after this, noticing how often you glance his way.
Might actually ask you to draw him again. But he'll phrase it casually: "You should do another one sometime."
Later, if you're not around, he'll flip back to the page and just… stare at it. A rare, almost smile on his face.
𝗝𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗲 ☾‧₊˚ ⋅
This man is a blushing mess.
He finds the drawing completely by accident. Maybe you step away for a second, and he happens to glance at your sketchbook lying open on the desk.
He instantly realizes it's him. His eyes go huge.
Panics. "Oh my God. No way. No freaking way."
When you come back and see him staring, he immediately starts babbling. "This is—you—you actually—Holy shit, you made me look cool!"
Cannot handle it. His ears go red, he's grinning like an idiot, and he keeps sneaking glances at you like he's trying to figure out if this means something.
If he has a crush, this just makes it ten times worse. He starts acting even more awkward around you, fidgeting dropping things, but also trying so hard to be smooth.
Low-key asks Chibs and Tig if he should frame it.

Need help prepping your zine portfolio or could use some pointers? Here’s a brief guide for choosing and organizing your works to make a successful portfolio!
Let’s start with artists.
What format should you use? Simple is usually best! Google Drive folders are often preferred because they easily display your work with no extra steps. Carrds, websites, or curated social media work too, so long as there is not extra material or posts hiding your work. Try to have as few clicks before seeing your work as possible, so no need to separate work into folders and certainly don’t require a mod to search your entire page for it—they may not have the time.
Make sure that your work is publicly viewable! Double and triple check that your Drive folder is shared publicly or your websites are not behind a password.
When choosing which pieces to include, always choose your best and most polished work. All works should be complete, in full color, and be fully shaded or rendered. Try to have at least some of your works be approximately something that would be found in a zine, which usually means about A5 sizing. Backgrounds are an essential skill for zines; make sure you show you can draw them well. Of course, sometimes some of these elements are excluded in a piece as a stylistic choice, but all are important skills to show you have.
If possible, try to include the topic of the zine in your portfolio. It does not need to be every single piece. If you only have WIPs or messy work of the topic, then it may not be worth it to include it and that’s alright (though make sure the zine does not require art of the subject when making that decision. Ours does not).
Most zines ask for featured works separate from the portfolio. These are the first things mods look at when evaluating your application. Choose your strongest three (or however many are asked for) pieces as your featured works. Typically, try to include art within the fandom as a featured work if you can. Try to have those vital skills on display in these as well (backgrounds, rendering, etc) so it’s immediately clear you’ve got what it takes.
No need for every piece to hit every point. Try your best for the portfolio together to hit most of them and meanwhile you can work on creating some art specifically to show off anything you’re missing!
There are some things you want to avoid including at risk of weakening your portfolio. A portfolio is only as strong as its weakest piece, so having less pieces is better than having weaker pieces. Only include polished work you’re most proud of. WIPs, sketches, or isolated character work may give the impression that you won’t provide a complete zine piece. Including multiple styles or mediums (especially ones that you wouldn’t be comfortable using for the zine) may confuse a mod as they might not know which you’ll use. If you include multiple styles, make sure that you are skilled and polished enough in all of them to use them for the zine. It’s totally fine to have a smaller portfolio, especially if you’re just starting out—don’t clog it with art that’s not your finest.
Merch portfolios are very similar to page art portfolios, but focus on character-centric work often without backgrounds. Do research on what makes a good merch design, because not all compositions translate well to physical products.
Photographs of merch you’ve made are excellent, but if you don’t have them then you can make mock-ups to help mods understand what you’re envisioning for the final product. Merch portfolios can be a combination of photos, mock-ups, and designs. Print samples may look very similar to a typical page art piece.
If applying as both a page and merch artist, you will likely want to have separate portfolios, as the roles require emphasis on different skills.
Writer portfolios are similar to artist portfolios in that they should contain only your best work. You may also use a Google Drive folder or another hosting website so long as it is highly curated and does not contain many other works to sift through. Typically, zines ask for 3-6 works under 3k words, but double check these numbers with each project you apply to.
If you’re applying to a specific role, such as poetry or article writing, try to have those kinds of samples ready. It may help to make a separate portfolio for those more specific applications.
Here are some other tips! Of course, there’s an infinite amount of ways to make a great portfolio, so if this guide isn’t working for you that’s totally fine. Experiment with different ways if you’d like!
Our applications open soon. Good luck!

i got a few asks about my process :0 so yea i took some screenshots mid-process of my recent cliff-skk thing just for that
m gonna preface everything by saying that i did have a ref for the environment!! i avoid color dropping from the image and tracing cuz i do want to hone some digital skills. also saying i'm doing an "environment study" when i'm really just drawing skk makes me feel better abt myself
when i don't have a reference, i tend to do some thumbnail sketches in my sketchbook. here's some random stuff of past work, where i rawdogged everything:

but whatever, back to the cliff-skk. i'll also post a timelapse of it for easy ref, but detailed stuff is under the cut :)
first i did some rough sketches on an orangeish background (underpainting etiquette, i find it helps things feel brighter and keep a stable tone when choosing colors to lay on top), and I quickly lined skk :)
then I laid down some flats for the background, again really eyeballing the reference for hues. afterwards i thought it was a bit bright, and i wanted a more sepia/nostalgia feel to it, so i hue adjusted everything to something more uniform
then i lay down flats for skk + the ocean, which i both had to color adjust a lot (you might see that in the timelapse), and then i jump straight into rendering the background. when i render, i always prefer to do it over something lineless, so i turn the sketch layer off. i rarely do lineart for backgrounds.
i also used to render the characters first, but i've found that it's just not a great approach—especially for art where characters and background are interacting, knowing the hues and shades of the environment is crucial to effective rendering on the character that doesn't make them look out of place.
when i'm rendering, i really try to keep in mind tenants of contrast, perspective, form, and light/shadow. ex, stuff "closer" to us has more detail; the hill in the back is minimalist (in comparison); the shadows lean cool-green while the light leans gray-yellow. rake brushes really carried me here idk... my fav brushstyle forever
eventually i reach a point where i'm satisfied (or bored) with the background. for the last stages i usually have the subjects hidden so i can really perfect the details—but then for super duper final details, like the little leaf specks and grass strands, i unhid skk so the poppy details could work around skk. then i get to rendering the characters :)

i forgot to take ss of all the stages when i rendered skk, but here's something from... about the middle of the process? i tend to render characters with the lineart hidden as well, sometimes bringing it back just to clarify things, but ultimately i prefer to define things by form than by line. that's just me tho idk, idt it makes or breaks anything, just a preference

again rlly just thinking about cool/warm, reflective tones (the greenish shadow on chuuya's left inner leg, sky-gray blue on dazai's vest), really just slotting the subject into the environment. after i finish rendering the characters, i usually return to the background and add some stuff—in this one i defined the waves a bit and put some grass around skk

and yeah then we're done idk LOL. sometimes i run the file through camera raw (photoshop) to do some color adjustments—i find that my iPad displays colors super differently, usually making things a lot lighter than they are (u can see how dark the timelapse is...), so i find myself lightening my work a lot. i also sharpen and add noise as needed :)
i think my process has changed a lotttt even in this past year. it's kinda crazy!! it's always fun to do these and just reflect a bit on how i work. mostly just mindless insanity until it kinda works.
thanks for sending in an ask. and if u read all that, thanks to u too lolol

art vs artist 2024 ✨ can't believe we're here!
i've been thinking about this year a little bit these past few days, with the holidays being under special circumstances for me. the past month passed quickly but very gently, which I'm grateful for all things considered. i think it's now safe to say that after some reflecting 2024 was one of - if not the - best year of my life. I've never experienced such a whirlwind of gratifying experiences in the span of twelve months: i met so many new and nice people, had my first con experiences in amazing settings and my first job opportunities in a field i wanted an experience in for a long time, traveled the world somehow, got 10x more attached to my characters than i already was - and I'm quitting the year with just as many projects as i did when i entered it. granted, new problems came up and still persist, but with every year that passes i get one step to catching up with the anxiety and fears that hold me back, and it's that one step that each time allows me to surpass fear and welcome something new. every leap of faith partially led to the beautiful things i experienced throughout the year like a ripple effect (partially). it's gratifying and humbling in equal measure. so cool!!
art wise, i'm a lot more satisfied with the direction my art is taking than i used to be in the past two years. i came up with brush settings that shifted my line dynamic and i discovered a new rendering technique i really enjoy that allows me to balance time-efficient with textured together. i think my art has been getting a lot more expressive and while sometimes it makes me feel like I'm straying away from a more sanitized, thought through illustrative style, maybe it's worth it for the feelings to be conveyed the way i want them to. i haven't gotten to a point where i'm experimenting with my shapes, compositions and palettes in a way that shakes up my habits in a good way, but I'll get there.
I've also come to realize while making the meme that i actually have very few finalized personal works to show this year! i made most of my personal work posts on a time rush (they usually were made for specific days). I've been working on a set of drawings that required some tweaking and a few days to sketch properly, but the result is worth it, I'm so proud of them!! i wanted to get them out before the NY but it convinced me that rendering had to take its time as well, i don't always want to rush things nowadays. being on a time limit and taking all the time necessary are both good drawing exercises nonetheless.
lots of rambling, but i had lots of thoughts. I'm so grateful that some people are still in my life as we inch toward the new year. to my moulin squad, to my tol staw, to all the new friends i made this year, to my kitty, to my family. i love you like the world. and of course, to all the people who follow my work from up close or from afar, thank you so much. to know i bring a bit of inspiration, thought and color into your day has a lot more worth to me than you can imagine. thank you for manifesting your interest and your support whenever you do!! 🙏
i hope you all have safe and healthy holidays 💛 drive safely and tell your loved ones you love them. my thoughts are with Ukraine and the people of Palestine.

And now we are finally getting to the most recent stuff I've worked on, starting off with my 2025 Marisa redraw! This time I'll actually have some more stuff to say since I can remember my thought process while drawing this yipeeee- (click image for better quality)
Artist's Notes;
So ever since doing these redraws, I've always kinda mourned the loss of the second redraw's dramatic lighting, so I decided to finally bring it back for this one! This one is kind of the melding of a bunch of my favourite aspects of the precious redraws, plus some of the newer stuff I've learned ever sine making them. I also tried out a new style of rendering hair for this piece and I'm really happy with how it looks! Also if you guys are wondering, yes that it s the same lantern from the previous Marisa drawing I did, I copy and pasted it because I was lazy and I just needed it to look consistent, work smarter not harder folks.
So I've been returning to my old favourite brush, the Clip Studio Paint Default Oil Paint brush for this one, and I did a bunch of the rendering for this piece with minimal blending. For the clothing, I wanted to incorperate a technique I did a few years ago, where I added some subsurface scattering to make the lighting feel more dynamic, and I love the effect it gave the white parts of the clothes. For the hair rendering, I did one base layer of shadows on top of my base colour for the hair, then a sort of mid-tone underneath it to add some variety in colour, and then did my highlights underneath all of that. I focused less on rendering every single strand of hair and moreso focused on getting the general shapes down, since I got inspired by some art I saw on Pinterest with a similar rendering style.
Once I finished with the base rendering, I used a multiply layer to create some more prominent shadows and also to give the lighting more direction. I did this with another piece as well and I think it gives me some pretty good results. It helps make the shadows a lot clearer and also gives me some better lighting while also allowing me to do some rendering to flesh it out even further, it's the best of both worlds and I have a lot of fun doing it. Also, what helped me a lot in the compositional stage was making a shitty little stick figure version of the character in the pose that I wanted and then painting in the base pose like a mannequin. I find that just painting in the figure immediately instead of forcing myself to stick to a rigid sketch has helped me out a lot, and here's an example of how the process went below. Later on in the drawing I did flip my canvas and after fixing it, realized that I liked it better flipped so that's why the orientation is slightly different. It also helps to just to some quick linework distinguishing the body parts to it's easier for me to draw the clothes. I do often keep major features of the silhouette in tact during this phase though so I don't forget to include them.
The background was actually pretty fun since it's just a nice outdoors scene. I didn't want there to be too much detail since I am all for creating the illusion of detail than rendering everything in immaculate detail, though I do think I could do just a little bit better, but hey that's why I've mainly been drawing backgrounds nowadays lol.
Overall, I'm really proud of this piece and I had a lot of fun making it. I want to continue experimenting with backgrounds and how to incorporate characters into them, so after my hibernation period you guys can expect to see some more of that.

Alright, doodle dump time! I've got some works that I can throw Tumblr's way, lol
First, a thought I had recently while playing Pokemon; I wanted to see if I could adapt Silver the Shiny Buizel into a MOLDverse wolf.

I think it would be fun to include him somehow. ^^ Design prob'ly isn't final, although I do like those colors~
And now, a redraw of an end of Chapter panel from MOLD.
It was brought to my attention that Corvus' hair proportions are such that he could pull of an Emo 'do. XD
Not sure how well I pulled it off, but an attempt was made, lol
Speaking of attempts being made, here are a couple rendered pieces.
For this one I wanted to paint sharp shadows. Not sure how much I like the result, but it still looks cool enough. ^^
And then for this one I shared a pic with a friend of a plaid ribbon I'd put on Crystal's plush, and said friend suggested a plaid dress for her. So I yoinked a pattern off Google and cheated it onto her, lol!

Didn't really mean for it to turn into a painting though. XD I just wanted to help accentuate the shapes of the dress.
And some Brush-tweaking/family bonding doodles! :D
And now one I did last night that I'm SUPER happy and proud with! It's a lovechild between wanting to render, and wanting to sketch/doodle, lol.
A bit different from my usual style, but I had a LOT of fun with it! ^v^
That is all for now! I've finished the next part, and may post that soon, if I feel like it. (But I may also want to have the following one more cleaned up before, so we'll see.)
