I like the thought experiment of how Marina would've been like if for whatever reason her mom wasn't there or didn't feel like she'd have to dress her up as a girl to avoid the firstborn son responsibilities, but like some of the people posting about that are such red flags I swear. The types to call trans women "they" leaving you wondering if there were any good intentions there.

Considering how she's just fine with being a girl, that's clearly not an issue for her, so fuck the people using catastrophizing language for her circumstances.

I prefer to think of it as a happy coincidence in the end. But if I do think about the alternative outcome I bet if she was raised as a boy she:

1. Would've hated the bs Mr. Domek got her into, she doesn't take anyone's shit (not saying she would oppose him but she'd never fully believe in the doctrine imo)

2. If she by some chance ever got to Vatican and learned about Samarie they'd have a very interesting dynamic. One of my first HCs about these two (idk if it's actually canon or not?) was actually that Samarie was inspired to transition when she saw that that's possible with Marina, so in this sense it would actually be the opposite for them. I find these kinds of AUs really neat. Even though their Termina relationship would've worked much more differently, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

This season didn't go the way we wanted, but we have every reason to be proud as hell of this team! Your franchise QB going down with a season-ending injury is an enormous blow, but the guys rallied behind Jake -- who was amazing -- and never gave up. They really pulled together and fought hard. Even though the playoffs are out of reach, I'll still be cheering them on in the last game of the season. They deserve to go out with a win!

Quick writing update:

I have several more chapters of the Hard Reset series coming up that will take us through the end of the season. The next chapter covers the lead-up and win against the 49ers plus Halloween night (sneak peek is here). I'm hoping to get it posted in the next week. 🤞 After that, I'll cover the next few games (Bills-Texans-Ravens) plus the wrist injury. Not looking forward to writing this part, but it is what it is as Joe would say. 😬 Once we get to the end of the season, we have to keep our fingers crossed that hermit Joe will show his face a few times in the off-season so I'll have some inspo to help me out. 😅 The writing for this series will probably slow down in the off-season, but I might pick it back up when OTAs and training camp start. I haven't decided yet, but we'll see how it goes.

Once I get Hard Reset up to date, I have a couple more Joe x reader ideas that I'm pondering. They're both short (3-5 chapter) series. I'll probably put up a poll eventually to see which idea has more interest since I'm really bad at splitting focus.

Hey!! Sorry for being so inactive lately.

A lot has happened, but the most important thing is that I finally graduate college! I've got a job as a part time teacher and I also enrolled in a master program. I will receive the results this Friday, fingers crossed and I hope I get in🤞.

So, while I get used to all these new changes, I will slowly start posting again, this time more than just Moomin stuff so I hope y'all get to stick around to see it. In the meantime, I'll post stuff that I already have ready
