Confusion

My headcannon is that after Scarab goes to live with Prismo, the travelers who come to make their wish will find it strange to see Scarab since they have not heard about him.

Scarab will tell the travelers that they are just companions. The travelers will begin to spread the rumor about Scarab, which will cause confusion where everyone will think that they are a couple.

Rumors will increasingly be misinterpreted to the point that travelers will be more careful with what they wish for because they will think that Prismo represents good wishes and Scarab represents bad wishes. Scarab cannot grant wishes, but the travelers do not know this and will think that Scarab is there to watch over them for his selfish desires.
