“Cheryl this is your stage partner Toni” 

“Toni this is your partner Cheryl” 

“You all will get paired for this play be nice”our theater  teacher said leaving to go tend to other students

I walked into Practice that day bothered fully about my stage partner but we have starring roles in this play and honestly I didn’t wanna look dumb

“Okay ladies you two seem to have your lines down pact for the first act and the second act your characters start with a dance scene I’ll show you now” the dance teacher said 

He showed us our moves and before he left he smirked at us “you two have a kiss at the end of the song too” he giggled before leaving 

My head perked up. Kiss!? I knew it was coming but still it caught me off guard. I just sighed and rolled my eyes 

She cleared her throat “we don’t have to worry about the kiss right now let’s just practice the steps” 

I sighed and nodded at first it was awkward but as we danced we both relaxed and it became more natural 

Finally the last part the kiss part she pulled me towards her and I pulled her towards me she was in my arms we where inches apart suddenly my heart was racing
