One time I was workin in a gas plant and the helper I had with me was green as grass, and while he was climbing up some piping, grabbed on to a valve handle and accidentally opened it. By the time I realized, around $10k worth of glycol was down the flow line into the flarestack

Psalm 119:105

Uw woord is een lamp voor mijn voet en een licht op mijn pad.

Vroeger Reed ik met mijn vader door de Europoort om naar het strand te gaan, ik vroeg dan altijd "waarom is dat vuurtje aan?" Ik doelde dan op de schoorstenen (stacks weet ik nu) van de petrochemie.

Mijn vader zei dan "dat is eeuwig vuur" , dat is altijd aan.....

Heden ten dag weet ik dat dit vlammetje een waakvlam (pilot) is op zo'n schoorsteen (flarestack) en deze is idd altijd aan om gassen die gepland danwel ongepland afgelaten moeten worden te ontsteken, ze daarmee te verbranden en zodoende geen onveilige situatie te creëren voor de omgeving.

Weet je, wij hebben ook zo'n licht, dat is het woord van God, de bijbel.

Als we lezen van of luisteren naar Jezus worden ook wijzelf ook verlicht.

Jezus zegt zelfs jullie zijn het licht... Veeeeet!! Wij mogen de omgeving, onze omgeving veiliger maken door de mensen een nieuw leven voor te houden, een leven waar zij zullen weten altijd geborgd te zijn een leven waar ze zullen weten altijd geliefd te zijn een leven waar ze zullen weten onaantastbaar te zijn, een leven waar ze zullen weten veilig te zijn en in staat gesteld zijn veiligheid te kunnen bieden.

Wij mogen "aan" zijn en zichtbaar aanwezig.

Voel jij je geen licht voel jij je niet veilig? Weet dan dat deze gevoelens gevoed worden door de leugens van de wereld, die angst voedt, die veiligheid afhankelijk maakt van omstandigheden, deze wereld gaat niet uit van Jezus deze wereld is duisterder aan het worden en zoals in de bijbel staat we zien dat de liefde verkilt.

Geloof daar dus niet in, blijf in de liefde blijf bij het woord blijf in Jezus!

Wie en wat jij bent is onomstotelijk, onomkeerbaar en onaantastbaar want Jezus heeft jou gemaakt tot wie jij bent met Zijn volmaakte offer.

Dus "chin up" (kin omhoog) "straighten your back" (recht je rug) en leef je mooie leven. Jezus verlicht jouw leven nl., Hij is het levend gemaakte Woord Hij is een lamp voor jouw voet en een licht op jouw pad!

Hij heeft alle macht en Hij is altijd bij je!

Je bent ongelooflijk geliefd en gezegend!
