Scenario:

Jun's older sibling, (you), finally returns home after a long work trip and ends up finding unexpected company.

Dexter:

-You were introduced to him via Jun, obviously. Not on a personal level though, he was introduced to you at the same time with everyone else

-His first thought of you was 'Jun 2.0' and he was right. Except you're less... 'Clumsy' than he is

-He's actually quite pleased that there's someone that's actually mature (according to him)

-He kept asking things like, 'are you actually his sibling?', 'how come your hair is blue and not brown?', 'why are you the older one?', and so on

-If you love nature, then he loves you in a friendly manner

-No seriously this dude was beaming when he finds out

-Sometimes you bring him to a place where no other humans had been and the two of you would just hang out

Fleta Z:

-When visiting your unbiological uncle, Ed, you were just expecting him and Jun, not a whole plane turned robot

-The two of you were weary of each other, but the tension passed when Fleta Z was told you were Jun's sibling

-Nothing much happened between the two of you after that

-Until you caught him with his Flute, and you two ended being good friends

-He honestly thought you were just trying to get to know him because of Jun, but when he ends up in the wrong... Well, he apologized and blew you a tune with his flute

-You find his tune to be calming, and he finds your presence comfortable to be with

Metal Crush:

-Jun's mom introduced you to him

-You thought Jun's mom was a little cray-cray because of him, yet the whole time he was polite

-Maybe it's just how he looked that terrified you, seeing how friendly the two of you actually are made you want to know more

-When he can't spend time with Jun, Jun's mom, or anyone else, he goes to you

-He's actually ecstatic whenever you two hangout

-His speech sometimes confused you, but that didn't stop the two of you from becoming good friends

-He's just glad to have someone actually enjoy his company for once, not counting Jun's mom because she already enjoyed having him around

-Black Hook approved

Buster Gallon:

-You honestly thought you were going to become enemies instead of friends

-The two of you did become friends however, by making fun of each other

-Both of you knew not to go too far, but just enough to make it look like a friendly rivalry (basically teasing on the next level)

-Buster Gallon rebuilt his threee 'mini me's' and you were having the time of your life with them

-Buster's a little pissed off but doesn't really care about it

-Instead the five of you ended up making your own friend group

-The five of you are what the others call 'Hell spawn'

-No seriously, Jun called you guys that. And Buster's little pals annoyed him the entire day

-Black Hook... approved?

Black Hook:

-Not exactly the kind of bot to panic when someone sees him, instead he took you to Jun

-He ended up surprising himself when he finds out you two are related

-He asked you for your name and that's it

-He was content with that, but you weren't. You made it your mission to get to know your captor better, out of spite

-You two ends up being on the same frequency and boy was that an interesting day

-He took you for a ride and you two literally plays pirate with each other, at least no one else was there to see

-Well there's Fleta Z flying by, but he doesn't care (Black Hook threatened him)

-Overall the two of you became great friends and his sons crew members was glad for that

Heavy Iron:

-Well he terrified you on accident when he almost stepped on you when you first met

-He apologized after (with the help of Jun), but seeing you still shaken up he decided to do something nice for you (also with Jun's help)

-Yeah he failed

-Hey, it's the thought that counts

-When Jun told you that he's the one who caused his arm to hurt, you threw a shoe at him. It's a surprise you didn't get thrown something in your face by him

-The two of you only became friends after getting into an accident

-Turns out you two work great together

-You the brain and he's the brawn, you two practically saved yourselves

-And after that the both of you become great friends! Well, it took a few weeks for Heavy Iron to suck up his ego, but it worked

hi hi i would like to talk about a specific scene in pocket mirror <33 this is very disconnected bc im just rambling

spoiler ahead!!

this is right after mc talk with enjel :3 i really enjoy this whole room, and i could absolutely be over analysing but thats the fun part

this is such cool symbolis, for very obvious reasons,

everything is the same but slightly different

the candles are in different places the dools are wearing different dresses the fucking lil paintings/pictures are slightly different, one of them is darker and has an aditional painting/picture next to it, the thing looks like its decaying in a way to me the flowers are also the same but are either in different positions in terms of rotation or it just looks like it bc one of them doesnt have the a light source next to it

im guessing the left side is mc not only bc of the colors with it but also bc the big painting is like non decaying i would say it also has additional ppl (extra painting/picture) enjel being left is decaying in the big painting but eveyrthing else seems very healthy again very good symbolism for her sure she seems all good on the outside but she quite literally is kinda rotting? mc is kinda have a mental breakdown in the scene, right after talking to enjel her outside seems more dark and upset, everything from her side makes me unsure, like she is rn but inside she is human smth that enjel isnt

soooo. this got pretty long,,,,, because i don't explain george to people very often and i got excited. so a good chunk of this will be under a cut LAISUDHALSUIDH

george my beloved... that version of george is an overhaul of a dnd npc! the campaign never got finished after kinda falling out of touch with the players, but george was always my silly skrungle my blorbo my poor little meow meow. he was my favorite of the npcs and i didn't wanna leave him so i revamped him for my detectives story c:

george holds quite a bit of the same backstory. george is a human born and raised on another planet who helped his parents take care of a Celestial, Moon, a powerful being that needs to be kept under careful watch. bug warning but this is moon btw, but in the detectives story moon is much much smaller. after his parents died, george ended up joining the same organization that oversees the protection of celestials around the universe to make sure they don't bring about disaster. unfortunately this organization Fucking Sucks. they abandoned george back on his home planet years later when moon was bringing about a disaster (they thought he was dead to be fair) and he had to deal with it entirely by himself. he did succeed and moon is his very bestest friend in the entire world but it was a little bit very traumatizing

this is where current george and dnd george split off in terms of story. dnd george ended up joining the party when they were working for The Organization. i THINK current george may have done something similar? but basically he snuck moon into his pack and ran for it, ending up back on "earth" or whatever we wanna call The Main Planet in this universe before embracing the fact that he is technically a wanted criminal and teaming up with a mob boss. they're absolute besties and they get to be so silly together. george is absolutely living his best life as a criminal now. he gets to steal candy Whenever He Wants!!!

in the detectives story, starlight and george are presented as the main villains of the murder mystery when in reality they don't know who the fuck is killing all those people either. but they DO know someone who does, and she has begged them to keep dover, the main character and main detective on the case, away from the truth as long as possible. they happily oblige <3 and that's as much as i can really explain about george plot wise before i have to explain the entire convoluted plot to you c:

other fun facts!

george has a massive crush on dover and will NOT stop flirting with him. dover fucking hates him

george has power over gravity, able to point in a direction and make that direction "down" for him and anybody he's touching. he ALSO has a passive luck power that basically functions based on how funny it would be. he can't get caught by dover, just barely slipping away every time, because he is simply being so silly your honor. this doesn't mean he won't ever get caught tho

george is entirely unaware he has this luck power

moon is always just hanging out in his pack. moon will not ever cause a disaster because they love george very much and they like to be with him c: which sometimes means george will be heading out the door like "keys, wallet, gun- SHIT I FORGOT MY GOD"

george glorifies and admires criminals and cowboys and when he realized he was allowed to be both to the extreme he got So Excited this is gender euphoria for a cis man. nothing's under the mask or the shadows on his face he just thinks they're awesome

george is generally pretty good with kids!!!! starlight has a daughter, fleta, and george is like her funny uncle. there's a lot of kids in this story and they tend to flock to him cause he will dote on them and let them say hi to moon and yeah sure maybe sometimes he teaches them how to use weapons but in his defense that shit is so cool how can he not let them play with knives it's literally sick as fuck

The Hidden Unfortunate Thing

Jose Ramirez III was one of the most important guitar figures of the 20th Century...not because his guitars were that much better sounding, or anything revolutionary in terms of construction...but because they were big and loud.

Do not discount "big and loud" in terms of importance for acoustic instruments. When you don't have an amp, the instrument is everything, and projection matters. It's why almost every major classical guitarist of the 60's, 70's and 80's played a Ramirez 1a.

These things are all over the vintage market for big numbers. Numbers largely due to association, seeing as Andres Segovia, Julian Bream, John Williams and Christopher Parkening all played one and that's essentially the Mt. Rushmore of 20th Century Classical Guitar.

But they're not selling for a reason.

That reason you can't see. It's the 664mm scale length.

Scale length is essentially how long the neck is. More length means more tension and more projection. It also means you really gotta stretch your left hand. Almost all electric guitars a scale length of either 25.5" (Fender) or 24.75" (Gibson)...that extra 0.75" makes a massive difference in terms of sound and playability.

Adding an extra 0.75" on top of that extrapolates that difference even more. The standard scale for classical guitars is 650mm...640mm for shorter scale ones. Both of these are longer than Gibson's standard scale length, both being closer to Fender's, even the shorter scale. A 664mm scale length is closer to a baritone guitar, only it's strung with regularly tuned strings, making it a bear to get around after a time.

I've had the opportunity to play one of these very recently...and it was a tremendous guitar...but I have well above average sized hands, over 9 1/4" on the NFL combine system, and this thing was causing me all sorts of left hand issues. Not fretting or precision issues, but pain and fatigue. Could I get used to this? Sure, I have big enough hands...the question is tho, "why would I want to?" It's not that they're unplayable by any means...they're just not exactly fun to play.

I've talked about Brazillian rosewood before...how rare, and protected, and incredible it is...and that's why these guitars are priced the way they are. Well, that and the "Ramirez" name and the guitarists associated with the 1a. But the reason they're not selling is because they're just plain not fun to play. And it's all due to that neck.

Yea, longer scale length DOES mean more projection. So does advanced modern bracing and construction methods that give you MORE projection with a neck that's comfortable to play. And that's why you've got a bunch of guys with these fantastic sounding guitars, and nobody to buy em.

Every other guitar maker associated with Segovia has a "inquire for price" tag to go with it. Manuel Ramirez (Jose I's younger brother), Hermann Hauser I, Ignacio Fleta...guitars by these makers, even mediocre or weird ones (let alone the models associated with Segovia from their prime eras), are $50k and up. But why aren't the Ramirez 1a's with the 664mm selling pretty much at all?

The same reason you don't go for a fun-time cruise on a lake in a barge.

• Oh it's always a blast! For you two. Sure, the two of you almost got caught and confronted, but somehow everyone believed your lies. (No they didn't.)

• One time the two of you were having too much fun, half of a neighborhood could hear your music. Good thing the cops didn't find out, not even Blue Cop!

• Sometimes, your little hangout session can get tiring. Too much dancing and talking loudly is extremely tiring you know?

• So, as a way to cool down, you two cuddle. Totally normal friendship cuddling. The two of you just lay on the ground, watching the stars and talking, less loudly this time.

• At one point you two slept on the ground, hugging each other. Safe to say, Mega Trucker doesn't actually mind!

• Not without being slightly flustered, but he wouldn't pass on a cuddle. He actually really likes it!

• Perhaps the two of you could just... cuddle? Not after a tiresome dance off, just regular, totally friendly cuddle! He would like that.

Phoenix Fire:

• You weren't expecting Phoenix Fire to be up and about especially late at night. But you're not complaining. His company definitely made your nights better than alone.

• The two of you started off being quietly awkward with each other. Not knowing what to talk about while also being terribly tired.

• Overtime, you gradually learned how to keep the conversation going. He seems to really enjoy his job. Even with his fears sometimes taking over him.

• You find that he's very VERY talkative. Even in the dead of night. He is quite literally a golden retriever. Somehow always full of energy.

• You talked about your past once and now he seemed persistent in finding the whole story. Practically begging you to tell him all about your adventures. Even if there's none.

• Remember, it's still nightime. Despite your or his interesting stories, the two of you are... probably sleep deprived.

• Once you were just talking your mind off, and he was dozed off without any of you realizing. He's a bit sheepish once you wake him up, apologizing to you over and over before you told him to just rest.

• By rest, you meant sleeping together. Not that. Just you leaning onto him as he leaned against a wall or.. tree or whatever. You two just sleep like that.

• This went on for too many times to count, resulting in either of you sleeping on accident before the other sleeps as well. You woke up with a hurting back though, good luck with that.

• At least he's kind enough to help you relax. Basically massaging you, like Blue Cop in that one scene in eps 2. (Can everybot do that?)

Shadow X:

• Totally didn't stalk you in the middle of the night. It's not creepy if you're friends. Definitely creepy if you're not though.

• You told him that his rotors were quite loud, especially at night, telling him that he'd need to get to your hangout place by foot. Guess what he did?

• Nothing. Still using his vehicle mode. He pisses you off that it's endearing in a way.

• Hangout usually goes with you two laying on the ground, stargazing as you two talk. What's surprising is that, he's actually willing to have a deep talk with you.

• Still sarcastic about it though. Just less annoying.

• Other times he'd take you out on a ride. Letting you sit in his cockpit as he flies over the buildings or clouds. It's a great view actually. Perhaps that's why he flies so often.

• He's still energetic. Despite being in the dead of night. Surprisingly though he actually isn't THAT annoying around this time. Probably because he's tired.

• Sometimes you've even slept in his cockpit. He doesn't really mind it, it's actually quite peaceful to him.

• Though he will wake you up once he's nearing your house. He doesn't plan on letting you sleep in his cockpit all night.

• If he ends up sleeping however, he's still going to sleep even if you force him to wake up. He's probably in a position too comfortable for him to bother sleeping properly.

Fleta Z:

• His music scared you at one point. Who wouldn't though? A random flute being played in the middle of the night? Horror film right there.

• Fortunately you start getting used to his music. Even finding it soothing, especially at night.

• Your little hangout session is really peaceful! You two just talk about whatever that comes to mind and laugh at jokes you come up with.

• He's much more silly now that you've learned more about him.

• Sometimes you two watch videos on your phone. You've even shown some video games! Man, he's seriously interested in that.

• Other times the two of you just started stargazing. Moongazing. Cloudgazing. Whatever there is in the night sky.

• If the city starts getting a little too loud at night time, say some type of celebration, the two of you move a little closer to the forest. You might even come across Dexter!

• Whenever you two hangout, Fleta Z would tell you to go to sleep. Perhaps even try to make you sleep by playing his flute, surprisingly it works.

• He'd lull you into a near-sleep state with his flute, gently bringing you to rest as you lean against him.

• His presence is really calming for someone his size, even more surprising how gentle he could be with your sleeping form.

• You're never gonna catch him sleep though. Good luck if you're trying to.

Wild Guardy:

• You're surprised he's still awake he's surprised you're still awake.

• The hangout usually goes like this: Awkward silence. Comments on today's events. Talking smack about some bot. Comfortable silence. "So how's your day?"

• It almost never changes. 'Almost', because now he stopped talking smack about other bots and that left you confused for a bit, but it's a nice change.

• The two of you weren't exactly the most 'social' when compared to the others. Yet somehow it's as if you guys haven't run out of topics for a conversation.

• It's surprisingly a 'fun' talk with him. Probably because you're both tired and could careless about what you're talking about but it's honestly just his presence in general.

• He's actually a pretty chill guy. You just gotta get used to him. Sure he could be a bit puzzling at times, but that's just one of his... charms?

• At some point you two just sit around, comfortably enjoying each other's presence in the dead of night. Except for Wild Guardy.

• He was, surprisingly, the first one to sleep on accident. He's too tired to realize, since he's passed out, so you just let him be. Then he wakes up and realized he left you alone and slept.

• He apologizes to you first thing in the morning.

• Other times you're the first to sleep on accident. He wakes you up as gently as he could be, which is not at all gentle, but he's working on it. Perhaps he could just let you sleep on his thigh? Perhaps. Probably not though.

He has been betrayed by his very own creations with the competency to rule his empire too many times to allow himself to be over thrown by them too early in his plans. He needed a successor, a Mobian of some sort, one that wouldn’t be noticed if they went missing but one that wasn’t as incompetent as his henchmen.

It was surprisingly easy to legally adopt a child from a tiny orphanage in a tiny town, even easier than simply kidnapping them. Plus, if anyone tries to ‘save’ him then it’ll be THEM who are kidnapping. 

All of the gross and difficult parts of parenting were thrown to Orbot and Cubot, and it wasn’t until Evi was a little bit older that Eggman had actually grown rather attached to this tiny rodent living with him. 

Evi was absolutely fascinated by all the machines, which at first was assumed to be just a tiny child’s attention on 'metal toys’, but after he was able to adapt a motobug to actually fly like a ladybug, things changed very quickly. He was allowed to be in the workshop more, to watch and learn, and to tinker with broken and unused parts.

Evi found an old Metal Sonic model that had been broken and left with the pile of junk parts for months, and begged to be able to have it to work on. Eggman allowed him to have it after a little bit of convincing, and secretly decided to let this be a test of his skills, to find out what it is his successor will do with the bare minimum of what Eggman leaves behind.

2 days and this Metal Sonic was already up and running again, and that was with the bare minimum. Evi was given full access to the workshop after then, and this Metal Sonic was his own to update and maintain. Evi loved his pops, and he understood he was the bad guy, but it was so fun to be a bad guy he didn’t really care. He was safe, he was loved, and his smart little mind was free to explore the world of robotics. He soon had his own Shadow Android to tinker with too. He was surely going to be a great heir to the Eggman Empire and will do all he can to make his pops proud.

Evi was helping Eggman with a generator strong enough to take an entire continent and send it flying into the air to make their own Land that they would rule over. Evi got the honour of putting the final of 3 chaos emeralds they needed into the machine. But in the excitement there was a miscalculation, and the giant battery they were using to try and store the energy for the wave couldn't hold the emeralds power and it exploded as soon as the emeralds were put into place. Since Evi was literally touching the machine when this happened he got the most damage, lots of burns, bits of shrapnel, but the heat and light permanently blinded him.

Evi was terrified. He couldn’t see, and he believed he messed up so badly, he didn't know if anyone else got hurt. What happened to the machine? The Emeralds? Evi refused to stay down for long, and was a constant struggle for Orbot and Cubot to handle, as they were in charge of helping him heal. Evi was determined to fix the machine regardless of his lacking of sight, he’ll find a way, he’ll make his pops proud of him, he won’t let him down, he was so certain that Eggman was disappointed in him for his miscalculations that he had to make it right no matter what. But he was always put back into bed to rest.

Only a few hours pass of struggling that Evi is told to stay still from his Pops, which he promptly obeys to, preparing for the lecture or scolding of some kind. Instead, he finds his vision returning to him as something is pulled over his eyes. The entire time he was supposed to be resting and getting the care he needed from the bots, Eggman was making him some glasses that bypassed his eyes entirely to allow him to see. It took the information and image in front of him and delivered it straight to his brain just like the eyes would normally do. Over time with tinkering the glasses turned into the powerful goggles he has now. Eggman taught him the importance of making mistakes, and even got to laugh with him about a few of his own mistakes he made in his younger days too, but the fact that Evi refused to let his work remain broken made him very happy, and together they planned on making it work together.

Maybe with less emeralds this time.

After having time to grieve, and build up the empire once again, Evi has returned to rule over the world with many iron fists. He can’t allow anyone else to think they can become the new hot shot villain of the world, they must know their place, beneath him and his empire.

The heroes on the other hand. The HEROES. They, well, they’re actually kind of fun. He’s never really, interacted with another non-robot person other than his pops before, and these heroes, although they make a mess and break his stuff, give good banter, and are always fair fighters. He’d never admit it, but he’s gotten a little soft over the years as he’s gotten to know his rival, if anyone knew any better, they’d notice how he never actually hurts anyone, or endangers the planet, and he’s actually quite protective of his rivals, not letting anyone else have a go at them. He can put on quite the show, and of course would never ever want to let his pops down, so he makes sure the Eggman Empire lives on in infamy, causing havoc and mayhem with huge elaborate plans of world domination, that when looked deeper into isn’t actually the end of the world.

He’s nowadays more just a villain for fun and to keep up appearances, and besides, if he didn’t keep having plans to foil, then he’d stop getting surprise visits from his rival, and the chance to fight and heckle them.
