Yoga is an ancient philosophical, medical and theraputic tradition which literally translates "to join or unite". This union in ancient yogic texts is between our mind and higher consciousness, between mind and body and breath, between the five layers of this human form, between the organs and energy centers of our body, between ourselves and others, between ourselves and the universe. Yoga is a discipline of mind and body. It is a state of being beyond all distraction. And also an awareness of distraction. It is a balance of opposite forces both within us and beyond ourselves. Yoga is therapy. And I am one of a group of Yoga Therapists working to help yoga return to its traditional purpose, to ease suffering and create more comfort. So please look beyond the fancy poses and the physical gymnastics...the real transformation of yoga is so much deeper than skin and muscle and bones! Happy Sol’s Day!
Exercise an Nutrition are a large part of my vision points. The issue here is to keep things real and have them be something that I can execute. Overall the vision is of a strong, leaned out body that has a good deal of endurance and overall health.
Exercise:

So: martial Arts in general come in two forms "hard" and "soft". Don't let their names fool you, there evenly matched on the fighting ground even if they develop different things more. Karate i
Now, all Martial Arts are going to develop power, strength, precision, and mobility. As well as flexabilty, balance, how to minimize damage to yourself etc. But those first four are important.
Hard styles prioritize power and strength. They facilitate causing as much damage with a single hit as possible and enduring anything that can be dished out. Generally speaking, Karate is a hard style, but I studied Wado-Ryu which is a soft karate so can't just assume.
Soft styles prioritize precision and mobility. Soft styles prefer to dodge, strike the same spot multiple times, and use their opponents strength against them. According to Google, this is what aikido is. This tends to be where grappling lives, so if your sport involves tackling this is probably what you'd prefer.
Tl;Dr The important thing is that all of the styles care about all of components. All styles will increase your strength, agility, flexibility, etc. So either is fine. You can also start cross-training in a couple years if you don't like what you pick.
What builds more strength, karate or aikido? I'm looking for a martial art to start my sport life.
In my experience aikido does not require a lot of physical strength.
Has anyone done both aikido and karate and can help anon?

Arthur’s Side (solo draft)
He took a quick breath as he gathered his thoughts once more. “When I first met you- If I didn’t find someone to work with me soon, my own Hunter license would have been revoked. Every canidate I met prior to that day were nothing but greed and selfishness, no trace of remorse for those around them. Metting you, I /suppose/ you could say was fate. You had astonding flexabilty and strength. But most of fall you were more cocern for a mere stranger’s wellbeing. You could of easily argued that I was at fault for the fall of your act.”
“Despite your childishness, idiotic nature, you’re quick to enteract and assist those in need.”
