She coughed up enough black ooze to cover the length of the tear. It looked like tar, and certainly had a similar stench, which made it all the more unpleasant. However, the viscous substance started to dry once it was exposed to the air. Soon, it became a strong adhesive that not only sealed the plating temporarily, but it even plugged the leak in his energon line.

The wound was superficial; barely breaching the top plating, but nevertheless, it sat in a more crucial area along his chassis, dangerously close to the border of black protometal.

While it did burn for a bit, the black ooze that Mourningstar spewed on him began to do its work. Soon enough the burning stopped, his wounds became sealed and the leaking energon veins were plugged from the sticky coagulated substance. Unfortunately, he still smelled like the Pits, but at least he wasn’t bleeding anymore.

Your post made me think of this but do you have a favorite kind of bandaid? I also get wounds a lot (but for different reasons) but I've always loved bandaids and I fucking love those like, flexseal style waterproof ones.

omg i love the bandaid tough strips. they're def harsh on your skin so i don't use them as much as i used to, but they stay in place and never fall off! waterproof ones tend to cut my skin if i stick them on the inside of a joint so i prefer using tegaderms if i need something waterproof
