So guess who wrote this just 30 minutes after the event started

i guess i should say that i feel a little emotional, yeah?

in some aspects i missed out greatly with dreamsmp. i never saw nov 16th live, or the exile streams, or even the disc finale. i fell in love with this little server afterwords, when all the highs had already happened.

i joined late jan 2021 by happenstance. i saw one of sad-ist's animations in my youtube recommend and i finally decided to give it a watch. then i saw the other two that were out at the time. and i caved in.

the first Major lore stream i watched live was c!tommy's visits to the prison. and his death. and his revival. i was hooked.

i followed blogs here on tumblr and followed all the ccs on every social media account they had.

i got invited to flycord! friggin flycord!!! and i met so many wonderful people there!

i met my pals @sunlitmcgee, and @tobi-smp and they are some of my best friends!

i made so much art, over the course of dsmp's life i made over 200 pieces of art (and counting.)

i bought so much merch, none of it i am Ever getting rid of. my l'manburg flag hangs proudly on my wall still.

i hum the l'manburg anthem every now and then, and even the beginning notes of "Hit the Road Jack". bc it all mattered to me.

there are some parts of me that will forever be bitter about the constant hiatuses, the shitty finale, and well. green boy himself.

but there's also parts of me that will always be happy abt this server. i got to know about Techno and watch his streams and videos before he died, i grew attached to the characters (c!tommy is my son), i am in the process of writing a finale fix-it that i am putting my all into.

and for what it's worth, everything was worth it. everything was worth the 2 years i put my heart and soul into this fandom and i wouldn't trade it for anything.

So, um yeah to be serious for a moment... I'm probably not gonna talk about dsmp much if it at all anymore from here on. c!Quackity and his story will ALWAYS mean a lot to me and I still adore him but.... I just kinda wanna distance myself from dsmp from now on, I'll still be active on here just gonna be more focused on Minecraft the game itself alongside cc's and Karmaland from here on (and those previous two in general depends heavily on how mcyts treat this situation- )

For mutuals/followers who don't wanna interact with mcyt stuff anymore my main is pumakaji64, it's multifandom/just random shit I reblog- there's no mcyt stuff on it.

I do not regret getting into this community in the slightest and meeting all of you, especially Flycord and Quackblr. You guys are the best and helped me get through a really awful time 🤍.

First impressions of Flypaw:

First introduction to dsmp lore side of tumblr and shared in my frustrations of lore discourse on twitter at the time which was so so important to me. Thought Flypaw was very cool and based, I asked to join the Flycord (best decision ever) and was very surprised and happy when Flypaw followed me back.

Impressions now:

Quite protective of Flypaw, they created the Flycord and introduced me to a whole group of people I really care about very much (love u guys) and think that all Flypaw haters need to eat shit and fuck off, Flypaw is literally just tryna vibe and draw very cool cats. I also really want to meet Flypaw one day to hang out and give her a big hug. 💙💙💙💙💙💙

I'm not really good at this kinda stuff but I'm in a soff mood and wanna just say, this has been really fun! I've been in fandoms before but usually as a casual lurker, I have literally never engaged with a fandom like I have with this one and it's been a blast! There's been ups and downs of course like with any fandom, but I've met some of the nicest and funniest people here, I know I don't reach out and talk much but I appreciate you all especially those who've stuck around here for so long. I'm especially grateful for the people who reach out to me or who I speak to in discord or dm's, I'm sorry I'm not the most social person but I am always so appreciative of you guys reaching out to me, it means a lot! I hope I have made this time as pleasant for you guys as you have done for me! I'm here for the long haul with you.
