hihi! could i have some headcanons surrounding michael and the funtimes around the time during and/or directly after sister location? anything goes, ty!

when michael first came to the rental place to repair the animatronics, they were all incredibly hesitant of him

this was partly because of him looking so much like his father - they all assumed it must be william at first.

well, all except for circus baby, who only had a strange sense of feeling like she knew michael, but she couldn’t quite place the feeling.

funtime freddy and bonbon were the first to properly ease up to michael, mostly thanks to bonbon’s insistence to give michael a chance.

ballora was also very quick to ease up to him, although she kept her distance for some time.

funtime foxy, with some help from ballora, was next to give him a chance.

circus baby was the last one to give in, the fact that she felt so strongly about a person she had just met threw her off for some time, but she was willing to eventually give in.

that being said, it wasn’t like it was all sunshine and rainbows;  the funtimes still had their habits, and even if they didn’t want to harm michael all the time, they certainly enjoyed scaring him.

funtime freddy and funtime foxy had the most fun with scaring him, often hiding around corners, just to jump out at him.

circus baby preferred to hide in her stage to scare michael, given the fact the lights in there are broken, she could stand anywhere she wanted in there and michael would never know.

she likes to hide in the darkness and suddenly start speaking when he’s looking for her.

ballora was never really the pranking type, but she certainly did love to encourage the others in their pranks.

bonbon also was never directly the pranking type, but he was also complicit in funtime freddy’s pranks, for obvious reasons.

truthfully they were glad he was the one who got ths job, it was hard to get good employees who would put up with them, but he was different.
