Evil Bad Guy could be trying to craft an Impossible Craft but their understanding of said Impossible Craft requires a bunch of base components from Biomes that don't exist in minecraft yet. they have knowledge that these Biomes can arise from transforming existing Biomes with Mysterious Plants that came to earth from venus (a play on the tall tale of venus flytraps coming from a meteor carrying plantlife from venus)
Interesting ideas, though I'm not entirely sure how existing Minecraft biomes are relevant to my game. I do have ideas for at least two "magic" biomes at the moment (and I'll probably come up with more).
I'm going back and forth on what exactly the Evil Bad Guy is hoping to achieve. I do want what it is capable of in-game to be the same as what the player is, both for laziness reasons (I don't want to have to draw and balance a bunch more things that the enemy specifically can do but the player can't) and so it's theoretically easier to implement multiplayer if I ever get to the stage where that is a feasible thing to do

apparently at some point between me getting my camera (many years ago) there came along a whole ass website devoted to doing well and on purpose the thing I do poorly and by guesswork, which is: finding settings to make your marvel of technology mirrorless digital camera look like an ancient probably cheap as hell film gadget you bought in the back of a walgreens sometime in the 90s

Hi! Im so happy to find a community for worshippers like me 😭💖!!
I'm still pretty new here so, are there any resources you recommend for beginners in daedra worship?
Hi I'm so glad you're here anon! I get most of my info from the games, Tumblr (I have a tag #for later reference, that might have info you seek) and this Google doc.
The link should work and has information on the Aedra, Daedra, and a few other Elder Scrolls deities. It's my most used resource to be honest. There's also a tiny Daedra worshipping subreddit I was on but it's mostly inactive now. I hope this helps!
Feel free to send more asks, my inbox is always open and usually empty!

Okay so first and foremost, before I discuss MY take on Raven?
Here's some actual background on the character, and three other major titans. Why should I recap the character background when my beloved @diogenesofsin wrote these up years ago and everyone should read them?
Raven (part 2)
Beast Boy
Starfire (And Cyborg)

Could you make a synopsis of what we know about dream and ranboo's relationship so far? Not the best at reading into things
hi friend! sorry for the late response, am going to hopefully summarize it in the most concise way possible but sorry if i leave out any tiny details or anything mentioned, just going to help clarify the broader points!
SPOILERS BELOW FOR COUGH SYRUP, It doesn't mention anything from today's chapter explicitly but definitely includes details up to chapter 26 and discusses chapter 26 events
TW for references of abuse suicide gaslighting & unreality
So since CS is told by perspectives this is going to be easiest to synopsize by breaking down what each character understands of the relationship. Keep in mind that this means this isn't the entire story, just what the characters currently understand in their own scope of knowledge. I'll start with Ranboo since that's kind of the more obvious one to go for.
Ranboo and Dream have known each other for an ambiguous period of time, but Ranboo implies they've been in contact since after Ranboo started living with Niki. Their relationship started as more of a business model-- Ranboo had suspicions there was something unsettling occurring in his town and had already done some freelance photography work that made him inclined to use photography as a way to investigate this. Dream agreed that there IS something suspicious, and agreed to help Ranboo and pay him generously for what he could figure out. They would meet at a usual place, and most often Dream would pay him once he received updates on Ranboo's research and photographs, though he's sometimes withheld money when he wasn't satisfied with Ranboo's performance. The most significant moment in strengthening this relationship was Ranboo learning of a house that had a strange circumstance surrounding the builder and those living there, which he wound up meeting a dead end despite doing a lot of research, but Dream was still proud of him finding something and that set up more expectation for them.
(Additional note that a lot of Ranboo's photographs were used for an independent project about aesthetics and psychology, which involved photography and is ongoing in the school year. This allowed him research hours to leave school and either work on research or visit Dream).
Ranboo's feelings towards Dream are initially somewhat fond, but also mixed with anxiety. This is partly due to his own guilt surrounding the fiscal element to their relationship, but also because of how Dream's reactions were occasionally unpredictable and the actual goal of their behaviors was sort of abstract-- Ranboo heavily implies in his introspection that the belief the town is cursed may have some root in some kind of delusion, though he also is shown to disbelieve this and fully agree with Dream that there is something concretely wrong. Either way, this indecision adds instability to their relationship.
There's also the fact that from the beginning we see that Dream is aware of Ranboo's relationship to Niki and frequently will mock Niki or imply she is bad for Ranboo, which made Ranboo uncomfortable as he is close to Niki. Dream will also belittle Ranboo, imply that he's crazy, actively of danger to himself, or that he's superior to other people, and mingle this with high praises. Also, last note that at this point in time, Dream would often meet with Ranboo but very quickly dismiss him, sometimes abruptly cutting off visits, and doesn't seem to want Ranboo to stay with him for very long.
However, as time progresses and as we've seen in recent chapters, a lot of Dream's behaviors towards Ranboo has changed. The focus has left photographs specifically as especially seen in chapter 26, and we instead see that Dream almost views Ranboo as a person he's tutoring, and Ranboo in turn sees Dream as a mentor and friend. Dream starts inviting Ranboo over more and introduces him to his roommates, treats Ranboo like he has saved Dream's life and therefore feeding into Ranboo's savior complex, and regards Ranboo with praise almost in a dog-like way (calling him a good boy, petting his head, giving him orders, etc.)
Ranboo views this relationship with Dream as a positive force in his life, as, while Dream continues to belittle him, Ranboo begins to take it as fact due to Dream being one of the only people consistently there for him, while he has stressful relationships with other people. He does notice some weird things Dream does that come off as odd (ex. Dream keeps him in his apartment for longer than Ranboo had told him he could stay and Ranboo only realizes because of accidentally seeing the time on someone else's phone, which he notes flippantly and doesn't assign blame to Dream directly for), but overall thinks Dream has good intentions and they mutually help each other, despite his small anxieties.
Now, that's all from what we see in Ranboo's perspective. It's worth noting that the only characters that have explicitly indicated they know about this relationship are Ranboo, Dream, Sapnap (believe Ranboo is a kid being tutored), George (believe Ranboo is a kid being tutored), Tommy (see below), and Tubbo (see below).
From Tubbo's perspective, we see more of Tubbo and Tommy's conversations about Ranboo, and we gather that Tommy thinks that Ranboo is in active conversation with the person who abused Tommy, Dream, and is avoidant of Ranboo for that reason. He verbally states that he thinks it's possible Ranboo is also being abused, but also treats Ranboo with disgust and fear-- since we don't get Tommy's POV, it's hard to know when he's lying and what he actually feels about Ranboo right now.
Tubbo thinks that Dream is likely abusing Ranboo, but he doesn't know how to help Ranboo. All he knows is Dream used to abuse Tommy from ages 12-14 until Tommy got hospitalized for unknown reasons (implied suicide attempt) and Dream ceased contact, and that Dream was never imprisoned. He also only knows the kind of abuse that Dream dealt to Tommy, which was physical and emotional abuse (Ranboo has not indicated at this time that Dream has physically abused him in any chapter).
That should summarize the most of what their relationship is! TLDR: Their relationship is heavily implied to be abusive due to Tubbo and Tommy's perspective and the implications of some of Ranboo's dialogue, but Ranboo and Dream are currently on "good terms", and Ranboo and Dream are the only ones aware of the large majority of their dynamic.
Hope this is helpful! Feel free to ask for more clarification if wanted :]

Taken from my friend @kvarenje,
1. Three Ships
Getting back into The Expanse and I’m excited my favorite Chrisjen/Bobbie seems to not be such a rarepair.
Reading though WoW fanfic and I’m shocked Jaina/Sylvanas has become a thing. It’s a lot of good enemies to lovers but I’m very picky about how the AU splits off.
Daud/Jessamine/Corvo from Dishonored. Almost 10 years since the first game and there’s a new fics that have this really interesting AU divergence.
2. Last Song
Teladrassil ambient music records up on YouTube out of nostalgia for a game I don’t plan on ever playing again.
Last actual song would be something of Mother Mother album Oh My Heart as I commute home from work.
3. Last Movie
I don’t remember, as I watch a lot more shows and YouTube essays. I’d say rewatching Noah Cadwell-Gervais’ A Through Look at Dead Space (1 hour 40 min) should count.
4. Currently Watching
Jujutsu Kaisen! I watched most of the first season while I was sick and when I was feeling better I realized I couldn’t name a single character or remember much of the plot other than the demon fighting school the main character goes to comes under attack. So I’m rewatching it again from the beginning.
5. Currently Reading
Aside from fanfic, I have about 3 books I’m in the middle of reading and have been bouncing between: The Silmarillion, The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard, Warhammer 40k Storm of Iron.
I tag whoever wants to do this

Reading the wikis about renaissance salons and early modern English coffeehouse culture for the billionth times lol, and I think something underexplored (at least insofar as I've bothered to actually look yet lol) is that like they're often renowned as having established and enlightened the public sphere, but were in fact still private institutions. I'm particularly meaning the coffeehouse case--salons were private in the sense of being hosted by an individual inviting people [and the elitist exclusionism/biases this caused have in fact been explored], but by private I more mean that cafes are businesses rather than a truly public-invested space. There are of course many points that have been made about their having gained significant social power rivaling the universities, just wish the actual nature of that rivalling power could generally get a bit more depth beyond just like being "from being more in touch w the common public." Topic also reminds me of a book I was reading a few months ago about the history of bookstores (specifically as opposed to libraries) and their role in shaping intellectual trends/communities/cultures.
I think going further into the foundationally capitalist motive of those historical platforms/facilitators for "public" discourse/connection, and how it may have shaped what went through them, could lend interesting parallel insights or outright ancestral context for the current state of privately-owned online social media.
