Spent so much time making sushi for dinner and was so excited to have a funky little sushi roll and eat it like a burrito but then my nori ripped apart mid roll and I had to eat it as a salad and apparently my brain doesn’t like the texture of imitation crab + seaweed and rice rn :(

so many of you talk about the cruel adults in your childhood that negatively effected you and caused lifelong insecurity yet you're still perfectly fine with being that mean stranger to any kid that has the misfortune of existing around you and thats just really gross !!!

#like i get kids can be overwhelming for a various amount of reasons but its not going to kill you to treat children with basic human decency #adults can be just as overwhelming or annoying—if not more. yet if you talked to an another adult the same way you do to a kid #then ppl would fucking hate you and not want to be around you because youre not being cool and witty—youre just mean!!!#everyone has experienced the frustration of being a kid being mistreated by an adult. some more than others #rather its ignoring your bodily autonomy (from sa and assault to hugging you when you don't want to be touched to not letting you #make your own harmless choices like a haircut or whatever). everyone has been talked down to or had their opinion treated like its nothing #or that their thoughts or input doesn't matter. everyone has a childhood experience with a mean or judgemental adult #yet over and over ppl are fine just repeating that cycle of abuse and hatred #like youre a young adult and youre still getting treated like shit by older ones. but youre able to have a drink or you graduated or smthn #so now you feel like you earned that right to be judgemental & angry & mean to a group of people that didnt fucking do anything to you #anyways. this is because im sick and had to go to the store to get groceries and meds #so its a 20 minute walk to the nearest store in 108 degrees bc i dont have gas money and then in the store im ofc using a face mask #like im sweaty and feel disgusting and like shit but this kid was SO fucking excited about his spiderman toy and wanted to talk and #his mom said ‘i told you no one wants to hear about that crap leave her alone’ and like?? no fuck off let a kid be happy?? hes not fucking #doing anything wrong?? so we talked and he showed me the little tiy that lights up and asked if i saw the new spiderverse movie #and i told him i havent! so he asked why so i explained i have photosensitivity and what that means and why i cant see it #(‘even though i heard its super cool!’) and HE WAS SO SWEET... like immediately hid the toy because oh! flashing lights can hurt me!#and then immediately said dont worry because he'll tell me about it so its like i saw it instead!#and like. guys imma be honest with you. i stilm got no fucking idea what this movie's plot is.#but you bet your fucking ass i was pretending like i was following along & was going ‘no way!’ ‘so it's a parallel universe...?’ ‘oh wow!’#like yea its unnecessary. i felt oike i was gonna collapse and im still struggling to breathe at home now. but also i been the kid #who just wanted to talk about my interests and no one wanted to or was dismissing it.#i know it's not a end of the world deal but i also know that crushing feeling. you gotta be the kindness you want to see in the world yknow #anyways. be nice to kids or im not going to be nice to you. they're one of the most vulnerable members of our society and deserves kindness

Really not understanding the people being mean to Yong Yea and saying he'll never be Kuroda like. Yeah that's literally why Kuroda is also still voicing Kiryu?? They haven't gotten rid of Kuroda, they've just found a new English va for Kiryu since the games are having English dubs now??? They haven't even officially recorded anything leave the guy alone.

When I started playing the new Final Horizon update I was expecting pure fun playing as Amy, Knuckles and Tails all while getting new story and a better final boss.... I wasn't expecting I was signing up for extra hard mode that made me feel very drained despite my setting being clearly set to normal difficulty.

#sonic the hedgehog #sonic #sonic frontiers #Sonic frontiers final horizon #I am bad at games I know this and can admit it #Sonic fans really don't deserve the wonderful treatment the Sonic Team has been giving up lately frfr #But Imma need them to tune this shit DOWN #I enjoyed playing as Amy Knuckles and Tails but I was excited to get back to Sonic admittedly #Mainly because I was of course familiar with him while I wasn't with the others #I thought I could go ahead and get the map all completed and do a lil cyberspace before I did the first tower #What I wasn't expecting was to get stuck trying to do my one and first CyberSpace level over and over because I kept failing #I mainly just kept failing at the last bit because it was falling platforms and they give you such little space and time that I cant handle #When i gave up on that i decided focus on the map then so I'll really know where I'm going and all that #Turns out the challenges to get your map filled up were also made to be just ridiculous #I gave up at a fuckin ball and hoop challenge because shit feels so inconsistently annoying #Not to mention the guardian i fought beforehand because Sonic actually has stats #Maxed out ones even #Now i know this one is definitely more of a skill issue on my part I'm sure but #I have max defense and I was at 999 rings #Bro i got down to under 100 rings during that damn fight cause i didn't know the right time to attack #I can be short tempered ngl shsh so shit has definitely brought my mood down and I'll probably actually watch the rest of the story #I really don't want to put myself through all that and more some it drains me more than having fun #Props to those who have fun with it #I cannot and I admire their strength amd determination #Plus I'm already seeing people talking about the towers you need to do with Sonic being absolute pains #Last time I saw that was with The End fight which the game took pity on me with how many times I died #Just uyguggugh #Whole ass rant in the tags #I'm tired and I do hope the new story full on is good and redeems what we had before

I have a week and a half of finals left and I am not making it through y’all 🙏

#I js finished my aps on Monday and ap studying is a whole different kind of beast #and so were finals last year #this year finals are light as fuck and that means I will not be studying much this week cuz I cannot get myself to take this shit seriously #like Monday? hell. ap gov and apah on one day #I had to cover 40 percent of apah on my own in the weekend before the exam cuz the teacher didn’t 😭#I also still had to review for gov #so I was spending like 18-20 hours a day on studying for those classes last weekend #and then taking the tests were fun but also horrible experiences #cuz of all the fucking writing #l got to near 20 pages of writing that day #and now I’m spending like an hour and a half max reviewing for anything #I have a final tomorrow and I’m so unserious about it #the only kinda stressful thing is Spanish and bio both being next Thursday #and ig math on Monday #but they’re still pretty light cuz I hv so much time to study #when we don’t hv tests it’s all study hall #so I’m just sitting in a room for 5 hrs working during school #and that’s more than enough time for those exams #like I just have to do 80ish practice problems and make flashcards for Spanish everyday until Sunday #and then I’m gonna check my math study guide on Sunday #and then continue studying Spanish flashcards every day leading up to next Thursday #other than that I have to make lang flashcards and study a bit for lang (prob like 2ish hours) next Monday #and like 6-7 hours of studying bio #like this is not that bad???#and I’m so excited for summer!!!#I alr have so many things prepped I wanna do!!#imma try to read for 24 hrs straight & draw more & get back into printmaking & do an internship & work on speech and debate #& volunteer at a library with my friends & study for next yr & learn to knit/crochet #& listen to music more & get back into piano fr & exercise #ares.txt
