Starting Over

I deleted my last blog this morning, even though that was a very painful experience. But it was time. Time to start over- with not only a new mindset, but a new outlook. I was so negative is my past me, I decided to start over with a new me. Re-visit who I want to be, and possibly change out of what I have become.

My only goal in this new life is to do as much as I can in the little time we have to be alive. I have already accomplished so much. I have spent four summer in the British Virgin Islands, toured Europe with my parents, skied in the most incredible places, worked on a beef ranch, college rodeoed, drove across 7+ states in 5 days, and even cleaned my room once or twice in-between all that. But during that adventure, I lost something vital. Myself. 

I remember why I was lost. I remember the 

This past year, I have been so focused on everything, but myself. I didn't come to terms with some horrible things that had happened to me, and they are just now starting to resurface. I thought partying was part of my plan. To live on edge and do whatever I wanted. But I was so wrong. It just brought me down and hindered my dreams. Partying can be great- and having a lot of friends in college, I go out a lot. But I did it for the wrong reasons. I did it to forget. To forget all of the bad shit that had been thrown my way, including the bad people who had destroyed me. I used men to try and forget my horrible ex I ran away from, without letting myself really heal. And now I see that. That is why I must change. I want to travel. I want to jump off plain with inflatable animals. I want to get lost in a foreign city. I want to fall in love and not regret it. But most of all, I want to find me.
