I come back from the dead to bring tidings of a Bocchi print i've been working on for the past three-ish weeks or so. Really proud of how this one came out!

I got more thoughts past the keep reading line as well as additional sketch screenshots for those of you who are interested in my process and line of thinking. Let me know what y'all think!

I have to admit, this is just as much false advertising for the show as the amazing fanarts from Japanese artist rsef as they make Hitori seem more badass than she actually is for most of the show (considering she's usually a bumbling mess LOL). I wanted to capture a sort of ephemeral moment during a live performance, showcase one of the rare moments on stage where Hitori rises up to the occasion despite her extreme struggles with confidence and social anxiety.

Pretty happy with how it came out, methinks!

Below are the composition sketch and value/lighting planning for those of you who are interested in my process!

This one also took some iteration before I got to the final version as well. I had a bit of a different camera angle in mind first based off a pretty intense fisheye lens photo I found on Pinterest of the guitarist from Metallica. Realized I was a bit in over my head with that shot, so I dialed the angle back to something I was a bit more comfortable with, but still with the goal of pushing extreme perspective on the guitar neck.

Something I find funny about the HB fandom over on twitter:

Vassago is now public enemy number one because shipping, and we only saw him in the trailer for two seconds.

Then again I suspect the hatred will go back to Andrealphus and Stella once the rest of S2 airs.

Vassago is easily the least problematic out of all these birds and is a good boy, so I'm just howling tbh.

Fandom learning about multishipping challenge: failed.

Meanwhile I'm sitting in the corner making the Andre, Vassago and Stolas dolls kiss because no amount of fandom hate is going to stop me from shipping them together. Same for SnowyOwl and Vassalphus.

I'm happy to report that in these last 10+ years that I have popped in and out of the rp space, I've been fine tuning my debut series. While it is not ready for publishing just yet, soon, I wanted to give a heads up to any old friends here that I will have something for you planned. This blog 100000% is the reason and inspiration for everything I have written since the last time I logged on. I always caught myself wanting to change Tate's story completely and that just wasn't right.

So. A new prodigal son, completely separated from ahs/this character, bloomed. Although, you may find yourself questioning if the Devil himself infected this story as well.

I'm so excited to introduce you to our new golden child.

I just checked my messages and while a lot of you have deactivated- I've got my most precious flower's still messaging me to ask when I'll reply to our rp threads. Sorry I left you hanging for so long, but mama's been cookin.

Some of you have followed me IRL over the years & it only seems fitting to bring you along on this next journey as well.
