“Is there any certain reason you’re asking about how long I lived in Australia?” Ash raised a brow, though he wasn’t completely against answering the other. It just tended to make him almost feel home sick when he thought of it.

"... Wait a minute. You're Vesper's brother?" Katsu raised a brow, looking the younger up and down in slight disbelief. "I'm not sure if I'm supposed to like you or not. Vesper made it seem like their family was awful to them. Though, I guess that could mainly mean parents." The omega bit at his bottom lip, thinking back if Vesper ever mentioned their brother. "Sorry, I'm sort of thinking out loud." Katsuo let out a small, almost nervous chuckle. "I'm Katsu. I'm a friend of Vesper's."

“She’s really a very gentle ride,” Shiloh coaxes the other wolf with confidence and gives a caring brush of her fingers through the mane of the horse beside her. “She’d be just perfect for a ride along the beach.” Turning to face the other wolf with a smile, Shiloh chuckles. “But if you’re still nervous there’s plenty of room up there for two if you want to ride with me.”

“sorry!” sadie states as she runs closer to where the other was. “i had a waitress quit on me today and other than questioning what i was thinking buying up a restaurant, i helped out on the floor to cover the rest of her shift.” on the bright side, this was the first bad thing that has happened since she purchased the silver dollar diner and at least she knew she could handle it for now.    // @forstarlight​

Abel’s thoughts are elsewhere as he looks over the horizon along the beach. It takes him at least a full minute before he notices that Apollo’s left his side to sniff at the shoes of another wolf. He’s not aggressive but Abel still gives him a whistle and the Doberman’s back. “Sorry about that,” Abel apologizes to the other. “He’s a good dog, but he has no boundaries.”

      it has been a long week. all he wants now is to curl up in bed with joseph, but  .  .  .  he can’t just yet. not until he finishes grading the quizzes. he’s done half so far. but he’s slowly zoning out in a sleepy haze.

“Sometimes cheap liquor does the job better than the expensive stuff.” Nikita answers at the question of what she’s doing here. The bars are hardly her scene, she’s got people she pays at home to make her the good stuff, but once in a while she appreciates the background noise. “Lost a bunch of money on a bet today.” Certainly not enough to cripple her, hardly a dent in her pocket, but money lost is still worth mourning. “Whatever the opposite of celebrating is; that’s what I’m doing.” || @forstarlight​
