“Can you help me with my tie?” I Freddie Andersen 🖋️⚡️🌺
Tumblr media Tumblr media
 "FREDDIE! FREDDIE! FREDDIE!"
As the shouts of his name echoed from the tv speakers, a surge of pride and excitement washed over you. Each chant seemed to carry the weight of the entire arena, as if the smaller group of fans' enthusiasm propelled the Carolina Hurricanes to victory all on its own. With heavy breaths, you watched as your husband battled fiercely against the formidable Florida Panthers in game five of the playoffs. Where eventually they managed to triumph with a 4-2 victory on enemy turf - and it wasn't just any win; it was a step continuing into the second round of the playoffs.
Even from the comfort of your living room sofa, you could feel the electric yet chaotic atmosphere of the Amerant Bank arena. The energy of the crowd seemed to seep through the screen, mingling with the adrenaline coursing through Freddie's veins on the ice. And as the final buzzer sounded, signalling the Hurricanes' win, you couldn't help but smile. Pride swelled within you as you pictured Freddie's jubilant expression amid the post-game celebrations. And despite the late hour, you did your best to stay awake, eager to welcome him home and share in his joy.
However, as the high slowly wore off, weariness started to pull at your eyelids as you relaxed on the sofa, the softness of the cushions tempting you into a sleepy state. You battled against the urge to give in to slumber, holding on to the excitement of Freddie's homecoming. Yet, as the post-game interviews flashed across the screen, you had to give in.
-
Frederik Andersen was perhaps everything you could have ever wished for in a husband. From the moment he set foot in Raleigh, his presence seemed to enchant you, gradually entwining itself into the very fabric of your heart. Despite the initial uncertainty and the winding path it took for both of you to acknowledge your feelings, the bond that flourished between you surpassed all expectations.
During the early months of your friendship, you found yourself spellbound by Freddie’s calm demeanour and mysterious aura. There was an irresistible allure to the serious gaze and the steadfast focus he brought to every aspect of his life.
Yet, while the spark of attraction ignited within you almost instantly, it took time for Frederik to realise the depth of his own feelings. So, for months you simply circled each other, navigating the delicate balance of friendship. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, there were subtle hints of mutual affection that lingered in the air – fleeting glances, lingering touches, and unspoken gestures that spoke volumes.
And it was a moment of bravery, spurred by a surge of confidence, that pushed you to take the first step. With trembling hands and a racing heart, you gathered the courage to invite Freddie for a coffee, hoping to bridge the gap between friendship and something more. Though initially completely oblivious of your intentions, a nudge from Jarvy had Freddie realise the true nature of your invitation.
So, in a whirlwind of emotions, the unspoken desires that had hovered between you finally came to life. Confessions were shared, hearts laid bare, and in that moment, the invisible bonds that connected you tightened into an unbreakable tie, each day drawing you closer together.
And just two years flew by in a blur of happiness and contentment, until one unforgettable day when Freddie took your hand and asked for your forever.
-
Upon entering the cosy warmth of home, Freddie was greeted by the soft buzz of the TV and its gentle glow casting shadows across the room, before his weary eyes spotted you sprawled on the roomy sofa, wearing nothing but his favourite number 31 jersey. And he couldn’t suppress a smile spreading across his face as he approached, feeling a rush of affection seeing you peacefully asleep.
Though tempted to wake you and celebrate tonight’s win together, Freddie resisted, knowing you deserved undisturbed rest after supporting him through the highs and lows of the season.
Yet, as he roamed the familiar corners of your home, he couldn't resist pulling you into his arms, embracing your smaller frame as you stirred from sleep.
"Freddie," your voice, thick with sleep, reached his ears as you blinked awake, greeted by your husband leaning over you.
"Hello, skat," he murmured softly, a gentle smile on his lips as he met your gaze. "Didn't mean to wake you... I just wanted to take you to bed."
"Mmm," you hummed, letting him effortlessly lift you from the sofa, your arms instinctively wrapping around his neck. His warmth enveloped you, a sense of safety washing over you as he held you close.
"You can always wake me up, Freddie," you whispered softly, planting a tender kiss on his lips, a shy smile gracing your face.
"I know, but it's late... so let's head to bed," he simply replied, slowly carrying you up the stairs to your shared bedroom. Then carefully, he settled you onto the mattress, his movements gentle as his gaze lingered on you, tucking you in snugly.
Yet, you couldn’t help but smile as your eyes followed his towering figure moving around the bed, slowly peeling off his shirt. And you had to bite your lower lip, as you admired his fair chest in the subdued room lighting.
With every motion, you felt your heart rate gradually increasing as he discarded more clothing, and suddenly, you felt anything but tired, especially with your handsome husband now only in his boxers. You were irresistibly drawn to him, your mouth watering and your eyes glinting with desire. Even though he’d only been away for a few days, it felt like a long deprivation, and he was the first feast on the menu.
So, as he joined you on the bed, you eagerly leaned in and pulled him into a fervent kiss.
Freddie chuckled softly during the kiss at your sudden change in demeanour, pulling back slightly to offer you a wry smile, making an effort to keep his composure.
“Min skat, it’s late… and you’re tired…” he whispered softly, his thumb gently caressing your lower lip.
You took a deep breath, meeting his gaze with a flirtatious look, as your eyes were brimming with nothing but desire for your partner. “Not anymore…” you murmured, shaking your head gently.
Time didn’t matter now. Your husband was back home, his team had progressed to the second round of the playoffs, and he’d performed brilliantly. Nedless to say, he deserved nothing less than to be honoured.
So, instead of giving in to sleep, you leaned in for another kiss. And this time, it was more passionate and intense than before. Your hand cupped his bearded cheek as you drew closer, your tongue pressing against his lips, seeking entrance, which he eagerly granted.
It was no secret that Freddie had missed your touch as well. With his focus on the playoffs and his commitment to training, sex hadn’t exactly been a priority in recent weeks. So, when the opportunity for intimate celebration presented itself, he wasn’t about to refuse.
Then as your fingers tangled in his ginger locks, pulling him nearer, he instinctively intensified the kiss, deepening it further, creating friction as your saliva mingled and your tongues engaged in a sensual dance.
He craved you so badly. And with each passing moment, the kiss grew messier and more fervent, his heartbeat quickening and blood rushing to his groin. To him, you were exquisite. Your body seemed perfectly crafted for his, and he found himself unable to resist once your skin met his. You were his weakness. Under your touch, he, a goaltender, would lose all his focus and control.
The room seemed to ignite with heat as your hands began to explore each other. With newfound vigour, you took the lead and positioned yourself to straddle Freddie – though it took some effort due to his broad hips. Tonight, however, you didn’t mind. As you settled with a knee on either side of him, he leaned back slightly, your lips still locked as his hands found your buttocks.
And it didn’t take long before you felt his slowly growing hardness pressing against your core, only the fabric of your underwear and his boxers standing in the way.
Then with slow, sensual movements, you moved your lips away from his, trailing down his bearded jawline, descending to his strong neck, across his exposed throat as he tilted his head back slightly. And continuing southward, you tenderly traced his collarbone, alternating between kisses and gentle nips with your teeth, before moving down his chest, and continuing your descent, your mouth lingering on his skin.
With each kiss, each delicate nip, Freddie’s breathing became more erratic as he watched you through his lashes, feeling himself growing harder with each touch.
And finally, you slowly inched your way past his belly button, and reached the waistband of his boxers.
“Mmm, skat, you don’t have to…” Freddie muttered, his breath catching as he knew your intentions. However, his protest fell on deaf ears, even to himself. He yearned for your touch, and the prospect of your mouth on him was nothing short of a fantasy.
So, as you simply smirked up at him, slipping your fingers under the elastic band of his boxers and pulling them down to release his hardened shaft, he swallowed hard in anticipation. Freddie offered some assistance, kicking off his boxers, then you took hold of his length, stroking it gently before leaning in and sensually licking from bottom to top.
“Oh, yes… fuck…”
You couldn’t help but smirk as you noticed his eyes blink a few times, waiting for your next move. Yet tonight wasn’t about teasing. Tonight was about giving your husband what he’d earned. So, without hesitation, you wrapped your lips around his tip, coating it with saliva before slowly taking more of him into your mouth, his hand finding your hair swiftly, as he guided you.
Freddie was rather large, no doubt about that. So, he never quite fit completely inside your mouth. However, as you took him further down your throat, gently moving your head up and down in sensual motions, you used a hand to cover the rest of his length. Giving head to your well-endowed ginger husband wasn’t the easiest task, but you couldn’t help but feel satisfaction as you heard his moans growing louder and more uncontrolled with each motion.
And as you maintained a steady rhythm with your warm mouth around his sensitive cock, Freddie felt himself slowly approaching a deeply desired climax. Which you sensed it as his fingers lightly tugged on your locks.
“Mmm, yes, it feels so good, baby… love your mouth…”
His words mixed with deep breaths and husky moans made your core pool. And though you wanted nothing more than to finish him off then and there, you also longed to feel him inside you.
So, when sensing his thigh muscles tense beneath you, you slowly released his member from your mouth, gasping for air as your eyes locked with his. There was no need for words; Freddie understood your next move instinctively.
Moving away from his body with gentle grace, you discarded your own underwear, leaving on the jersey before returning to straddle his broad hips, where his hands naturally found your hips for support once more. Then with delicate movements, you let your folds glide against his hard cock, teasing your clit as you steadied your hands on his chest.
Driven by mutual desire, you then guided the tip of Freddie’s cock to your entrance and, almost effortlessly, sank down onto him, allowing him to fill you up completely.
“Oh, Freddie,” you moaned as he stretched you. Despite being accustomed to his size over time, your body surrendered to the desperate need for him, melting into him almost instantly. And upon regaining control of your breaths, you began to move your hips slowly, allowing his shaft to glide in and out of your slick core.
Freddie too was overwhelmed by the incredible sensations as your tightness enveloped him, knowing he wouldn’t last long tonight. You felt utterly amazing, pressing your hands against his chest to establish a steady rhythm, your harmonious moans filling the room as the heat between you intensified.
You had missed the sensation of Freddie’s body against yours. And as he sat up, his lips crashing onto yours in a hungry kiss, his hands slipped under the jersey and swiftly discarded it across the room before returning to the kiss.
You kept your hips in motion, gradually increasing the pace as your fingers once again found his fiery hair, pulling him closer into the passionate kiss. And breathing was almost forgotten amidst the kisses, as you briefly pulled apart to catch your breath before diving back into a fervent embrace.
It was hot. Feeling his chest against your breasts, you rode him with all the energy you could muster, his thumb finding your clit to gently circle. The pleasure was intense, your orgasm building as you pressed against him, while his thick member stimulated your walls and teased your sensitive spot inside. It was almost too much. Overwhelmed, your mind clouded, and your lungs begged for air.
And Freddie sensed your urgency as his finger worked its magic, his hips instinctively meeting yours in rhythm. And it wasn’t long before you reached the brink of orgasm, your hips moving rapidly against his finger as the climax washed over you, causing you to arch your back, close your eyes, and release a loud cry of pleasure, with his name slipping off your lips.
It was the high you’d been craving for days, if not weeks. And finally, you reached it.
Then slowly calming from your high, you took deep breaths before reconnecting your lips in a tender kiss. However, when you pulled apart again, Freddie changed position. Sensing his own climax approaching, he leaned forward and pushed you down into the mattress, hovering over you in missionary, before setting his own pace.
His motions were as desperate as yours had been, and though he tried to keep it romantic with soft kisses, it quickly grew too intense and rapid. Covered in sweat, your bodies moved together as he thrusted into you, his cock buried deep as he pounded harder and faster.
Your moans filled the room as pleasure coursed through your body once more, while your fingers dug into his shoulders as he overstimulated you with every pound.
“Oh, fuck…” Freddie grunted deeply, signalling his imminent release.
And with a few more forceful thrusts, he propelled himself over the edge, emptying himself as he filled you up with his release, reaching climax.
Both of you needed a moment to come back down to earth, ensnared in a blissful haze as you caught your breath. And when you finally managed to breathe again, you flashed him a satisfied smile.
“Congratulations on the amazing win, Freddie,” you chuckled lightly, still a little breathless, and your husband couldn’t help but chuckle as well, feeling the exhilaration from the incredible intimacy you’d shared.
-
As morning crept in, you felt Freddie's body close to yours, the sunlight trickling in through the curtains.
The tingling sensation from the events of the night still lingered, yet a new desire stirred within you as you sensed Freddie's morning wood against your lower back, snug in his boxers. And a smile naturally spread across your face, while wrapped in his sturdy arms, you slowly awakened, turning in his embrace to meet his peaceful expression.
With gentle caresses, you traced the contours of his handsome face, adorned with ginger freckles, as he too gradually roused from sleep.
"Morning," his deep, husky voice murmured, his eyes still closed.
"Morning, baby. How did you sleep?" Your voice matched his in softness and crispiness.
"Mmm, slept like a log, min skat," he replied softly. "With you by my side and after last night, I couldn't ask for more..."
A light chuckle escaped you, and a mischievous urge to tease suddenly took hold.
"Wait, what went down last night?" you playfully quizzed, causing Freddie to open his eyes and raise an eyebrow.
"Oh, so you've forgotten?" he teased back.
"Hmm... maybe," you replied, feigning innocence.
"Well then," Freddie leaned over you, enveloping you completely with his larger frame, his face hovering close to yours. "I guess I'll have to remind you then..." he said with a seductive tone.
It was the epitome of a lazy morning kiss—half sleepy, half passionate, as your lips moved languidly, yet the desire between you both was palpable.
Your fingers eagerly tangled in Freddie's hair as the kiss intensified, and soon, any remaining barriers of clothing between your bodies were discarded.
In the gentle morning light, Freddie's skin seemed to glow as he explored your mouth with his own, his hardness evident and eager to be satisfied once more. Yet he took his time, savouring the sensation of your skin against his, allowing your mouths to move in perfect harmony as you delved deeper into the sensuality of the moment.
Then, with a gentle shift, Freddie slid his right leg between yours, his thigh making contact with your core, instantly revealing your moist readiness for him.
"Mmm, fuck, skat," he murmured against your lips, echoing your moans as you felt his strong muscles against your sensitive flesh. “So wet already…”
A smirk played on your lips as you couldn't deny the craving for more. Despite both of you feeling a bit weary from staying up late due to Freddie's late return after the game, you found yourself getting turned on by the early morning touches.
And adjusting his leg, Freddie then slid his arm between your bodies, his middle finger delving into your heat while he kept his lips locked with yours.
"Mmm, Freddie," you moaned as he alternated between teasing your entrance and circling your sensitive clit. And then a louder gasp, mixed with a moan, escaped you as he effortlessly slid two fingers inside.
With gentle strokes, he massaged your inner walls, ensuring to prepare you with care for what was to come. Though the goal wasn't to bring you to climax yet, the sensation of his thick digits stirred pleasurable feelings within you.
And as you tilted your head back against the pillow and watched him through your lower lashes, soft moans escaped your lips. Then Freddie gently withdrew his fingers, lining up his erect member instead, and with deliberate slowness, he pushed himself inside you.
It was a lazy rhythm as he then gently rocked his hips, while exchanging sloppy kisses. Your hands roamed from his hair to his shoulders, then to his neck, pulling him closer.
It was a moment of pure romance, not as eager and fiery as the night before. This was simply two bodies connecting in a slow, steady pace, each stimulating the other towards pleasure. Amidst tender kisses, soft moans escaped you both, indicating the gradual ascent towards climax.
The room felt stiflingly warm, sweat glistening on your bodies as you moved together, intensified by the sunlight streaming in. And it only urged you to hasten towards release. Slowly, Freddie increased his rhythm, his hips pressing a little harder against you as he thrust in and out, propelling you closer to the edge.
Your breaths grew heavier with each internal caress, your mind enveloped in a blissful haze with every motion. "Yes, Freddie... I'm getting close... I'm - I'm going to come," you whispered amidst your moans.
And that only spurred Freddie on even more, his movements becoming quicker. Sensing the tightening grip of your walls around him, he drove himself harder and faster, his fingers gripping the sheets beneath you as you tugged on his hair, your faces pressed close, sharing deep breaths.
Then with a final flurry of rapid thrusts, Freddie brought you to the pinnacle of pleasure. With a loud cry, you squeezed your eyes shut and moaned out his name, the intensity overwhelming your senses as ecstasy consumed your mind. And as your muscles tightened around his sensitive member, it triggered his own release, letting out a deep grunt, as Freddie spilled his seed into your depths, the sensation washing over him.
While the climaxes may not have matched the intensity of the night before, they were still nothing short of amazing. And as you both gasped for air in the aftermath, smiles adorned your faces as you exchanged tender kisses. Freddie then gently disentangled himself from you and suggested a shower to properly wake up and prepare for the day, though the only plans involved lounging on the sofa with a bad movie.
-
About two months had passed since the fifth game of the playoffs, and now you found yourself bustling around your home, preparing for a significant event; the wedding of some of your closest friends.
Although the Canes had put on a stellar performance, their journey unfortunately came to an end when the Tampa Bay Lightning emerged victorious during the fourth game of the Eastern Conference Final. Freddie, naturally, was devastated, having poured his heart and soul into every moment on the ice, but it just hadn’t been enough.
However, today wasn't about hockey. It was about witnessing two people pledge their love in front of their loved ones—a day filled with joy and romance.
The only worry weighing on your mind was that you hadn't been feeling quite right in the past few weeks, causing Freddie to fret.
"Skat, are you sure you're up for going to a wedding? I don't want you to go if you feel sick..." he expressed his concern while putting on his shirt.
"Freddie, honey, I'm fine, I promise!" You did your best to reassure him with a sweet smile.
"I just don't want you to feel like you have to go... I can go alone," he persisted.
However, there was no need for concern. Just two days ago, you had discovered the reason behind your recent unease, despite not being ill. Yet you hadn't found the right moment to share the news with Freddie, especially since it wasn't exactly part of the plans, he had envisioned for the two of you, particularly with your upcoming trip to Italy.
"Fred... I'm really okay," you reassured him, offering another smile. "But I promise, if I start feeling unwell, I'll let you know."
Freddie was always attentive when it came to your health, but he also knew he had to trust your word as you stood before him in nothing but your undergarments, flashing him a reassuring smile.
So, with a sigh, he nodded in agreement. "Alright... but can you help me with my tie then?"
And of course, you could. Despite knowing that Freddie was more than capable of tying his own tie, considering he wore suits several days a week during the season, it was a task he knew you enjoyed assisting him with. You had even practiced a few more creative knots than just the classic, just for fun.
As you stood there in the middle of the room, with only the soft hum of the outside world, you couldn't help but smile as you savoured the calm moment with the man you loved with all your heart, your husband and soulmate. Then turning to take hold of your dress and gently slipped it on, you decided it was about time to tell him the reason behind your recent behaviour.
Standing in front of the mirror, your eyes meeting Freddie's reflection behind you, you voiced your thoughts sweetly. "Can you zip up my dress for me?" you asked, another soft smile gracing your lips.
"Of course, min skat," Freddie simply replied, coming to stand behind you, his hands finding the zipper, and delicately guiding the fabric to envelop your figure. "Hmm, it's a nice dress, baby—haven't seen you wear this in a while..." he murmured, admiring how it beautifully hugged your body.
"Well..." you began softly. "I just wanted to wear it one more time before... before it won't fit me anymore."
Your eyes searched for Freddie's in the mirror.
"What do you mean?" he inquired softly, but then he noticed your hand resting on your lower abdomen, his eyes widening, and his mouth forming an 'o'. "Wait... babe, are you... I mean, are we?" he stuttered under his breath, a soft smile slowly spreading across his lips.
Turning around to face him, you looked up with a gentle smile and nodded. "Yes, Freddie... I'm pregnant..."
There was a brief moment of anticipation as you awaited his reaction, but it didn't take long before Freddie's eyes lit up like Christmas lights.
"We're going to have a baby!" he exclaimed loudly with pure joy, wrapping his strong arms around your body and lifting you into the air in sheer happiness. And you couldn't help but chuckle as he held you close, your eyes locking in a gaze as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
Laughter and happiness filled the air as you both shared the news of the new chapter that was to form your lives together. And as you shared a tender kiss, with Freddie still holding you, there was nothing else to say but, "I love you so much, Frederik Andersen."
"I love you too, min skat."

“Oh, my fucking head.”
Freddie’s eyes blinked open early, thanks to the lovely tension that wrapped his head tightly. It was so painful that he felt like even blinking made his temples spasm in pain.
It took him a second for Freddie to place himself in space and time. The last thing he remembered was winning the game, the Canes’ first stadium series game, and going out with the team. They all went to a bar together, or, was it a club?
That’s when things started to become blurry for him. Considering Jarvy forced everyone to start drinking in the locker room, he wasn’t surprised.
Freddie wasn’t a huge party guy, but he had fun when it was called for.
Not usually like this, though, he thought.
He couldn’t remember the last time he had gotten blackout drunk.
The pounding in his head and slight recoiling in his stomach quickly reminded him why. He laid in bed, his eyes still adjusting to his room, waiting for any flashbacks of the night before.
Nothing.
Thankfully, he recognized his room, a tiny bead of sunshine seeping through the crack in his curtains. He must have been really wasted considering that, from what he could see, he left the bathroom light on and his clothes were all over the floor.
Even if he wanted to, Freddie felt like he couldn’t move. He wanted to grab a pillow and bury his head in it until he fell asleep.
That is until he went to reach over for one next to him and ended up grabbing…you.
Freddie’s heart jumped as soon as he recognized a head of hair on the pillow next to him, his hand retrieving dramatically.
This, he really had no recollection of.
He attempted to puzzle everything together.
At closer inspection, the clothes on the ground were not only his. Your purse and heels thrown half haphazardly on the chaise that sat in the corner of his room.
“Oh, fuck.” he chuckled. He hadn’t had a night like this in a while. In longer than he liked to admit.
He watched you, mesmerized, as you turned onto your back and slowly opened your eyes.
“Uh, hi. Good morning.”
“Hello.” you said, quietly, looking up at him.
Your sweet voice prompted something in the player’s head, something he couldn’t quite place his finger on. Suddenly, he had just a taste of memory from last night. Maybe… talking to you somewhere?
He sighed, coming to terms with the harsh truth. He might never remember what happened.
“I, uh. I’m sorry.” he said, rubbing his face in his hands. “I, I don’t remember a single thing from last night.”
“Yeah, we were pretty drunk.” you uttered.
“Do you remember?”
“Bits and pieces.” you chuckled, watching his face light up slightly. “I remember enough.”
“Did we, um?” he asked, gesturing at the room.
You could only nod, sitting up and covering your bare chest with his sheets.
“Okay, that explains the, um, you know, the clothes and all.” he said, eyeing your body move under the blankets.
Freddie quickly opened his nightstand drawer just to find, to his horror, his stash of condoms untouched.
Shit.
Well, it was too late now to do anything about it, he thought, looking back at you.
Who was this? Who was this beautiful woman, and how did she end up in his bed?
“I hope I didn’t, um, do you anything, that you didn’t…”
You turned towards him more, finding that worried gaze, shaking your head before he even finished.
“Oh, thank god.” he sighed. “I-, I was afraid that, you know…”
“No, no. I definitely came here of my own volition.” you said, putting your hand on his arm as reassurance. “The parts I remember were, uh. They were fun.”
“Oh, okay, good.”. Freddie looked down, blush spread all over his face.
From what he could piece together, despite the growing hammering in his head, was that you were both almost equally as drunk.
The rest was still unclear.
But you didn’t seem repulsed, or disgusted, or afraid of him, and that was a good sign in Freddie’s books. Because after all, even if he couldn’t remember it, that meant he had managed to get you naked, and it had felt good enough to disregard any use of protection.
Drunk Freddie had great taste but poor choices, he thought to himself, before letting out a big, belly laugh.
“This is so fucked.” he exclaimed.
“I know! I never, really, do this, so. I understand.” you sighed, laughing along with him.
“Oh, fuck it.” he said, extending an arm to you. “C’mere.”
He wrapped his forearm around your shoulders, letting your head fall with a sigh on his bare chest. He obviously knew you were naked, but it didn’t hit him until he felt your soft skin come in contact with his under the sheets. A tiny spark went off in his head, the memory of the feeling of your body slowly coming back to his senses.
“I can see why I came home with you.” he said.
“Yeah?” you asked, looking up at him. “I’m not a regret? You’re not kicking me out?”
“No, no. Stay.” he said. “But only because I don’t remember anything. I need someone to help me put together what the fuck actually happened.”
“Oh, I see! So I’m only allowed to stay here for memory purposes only.” you chuckled.
“Absolutely.” he said. He thought you couldn’t tell, but it was quite obvious Freddie’s eyes had locked on your lips as you two kept the banter going.
“Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I don’t think I remember much more than you. I don’t believe I’m going to be too useful in that department.”
“Perhaps I should kick you out, then. What am I going to do with you?”
“Right, right. Nothing. Maybe I should go.”
Freddie didn’t even let you finish the sentence before his grip tightened against your body, bringing your face closer to his.
“You’re too warm right now. If I let you leave, I’ll get cold and stuff, so. I do need you to stay here. Cuddling purposes only.” he said, winking at you.
“I think I can be a good cuddler.” you said, placing your cheek on his shoulder.
“So far, so good.” he uttered, his gaze never leaving your face. “But maybe you could get a little bit closer.”
Your scooched closer, hooking your leg around his hip, bodies flushed and touching. As soon as your thigh met his hips, however, it was impossible not to feel his morning wood.
“You’re hard.” you said, boldly, looking back up at him.
“Uh, yeah. Sorry.” he stammered. “Sometimes, you know, that’s awake earlier than I am. I’m really sorry.”.
Freddie went to adjust your leg, attempting to move it away, before you stopped him.
“No more cuddles?”
“I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.” he said.
“I don’t mind. It’s okay with me.”
“It, it might get worse with your leg, you know, moving on top of it like that.”
“My leg is on it, isn’t it?” you said, slowly applying a tiny amount of pressure. “Is it bothering you? I can move.”
“No, no, no, that’s okay.” he spewed out, perhaps a bit too hurriedly. “It feels kinda good, actually.”
“Oh, it does?” you asked, moving your leg up his length now, with more pressure now.
“Hey!” he laughed, throwing his head back. “Come on, now. Yeah, yeah, that feels good.”
“I mean I’m just getting comfortable!” you chuckled. “I want to make sure I give the best cuddles, since this is why I’m here.”
He kept laughing, his chest moving as he threw his head back into the pillows, before finding your sparkling eyes looking up at him again.
“Oh, you’re doing great. Yeah, those are…” Freddie’s voice lowered as he brought his face close to yours, the tip of your nose touching his. “...they’re great cuddles.” He whispered against your mouth before pressing his lips into yours.
Feeling your tongue run down his bottom lip, Freddie parted his lips, letting you in his mouth and letting more memories play front center in his mind.
He could immediately remember first tasting you, the taste of you and the drinks mixed on his tongue as the cool winter breeze hit his face.
You moved closer to him, your leg clenching on his hard cock, bringing him back to the present.
Freddie pressed his hand against your cheek as he brought you somehow even closer as your kiss grew wetter and more heated.
There was no fighting for dominance, your tongues lapping at each other, interlocking and twisting while your lips rubbed harshly the more turned on you both began to get. You were moving so smoothly, stroking his member steadily with your soft thigh, making Freddie ant more and more. It took one moan out of him for you to straddle him, his lips never leaving yours.
“You’re wet.” he said, his eyebrows shooting up as soon as your pussy sat flush on his dick.
“Yeah, I mean, sometimes that’s awake befo-”
“Shut up!” he exclaimed, jokingly pushing at your arm.
Now that you were on top of him, Freddie could see the evidence from the night before, along with how beautiful your body was.
Marks covering your velvet skin, from your neck all the way down to your lower belly.
He ran his calloused fingers down your abdomen, staring agape at the dark bruises that adorned your skin.
“It was all you.” you said so quietly, it was almost a whisper.
“I-, I don’t usually do this.” he said, keeping his eyes on the clusters of marks as you rolled your hips hard onto him.
“Well, it felt really good.” you moaned, your head lolling back as you began to rub your wet cunt up and down Freddie’s cock.
He let out a quiet moan, his fingertips grazing upwards until they found your now exposed neck. He traced the burgundy lovebites gently as he watched your eyes roll to the back of your head.
“Keep rolling your hips like that, fuck.” he moaned. “Like that, baby, yeah.”
As you picked up the pace, your juices wetting his pulsating cock, you looked back down at him. Freddie’s freckles on his chest were highlighted by the redness that now covered him, his breathing picking up exponentially faster.
The mix of his cum from the night before mixed with your arousal made both of your sexes slick and slippery with desire, allowing your clit to glide smoothly on his member. You would both moan louder whenever your swollen nub would reach Freddie’s head, the palpitations of your lust sending shockwaves all throughout your bodies.
And Freddie thought this was so fucking hot.
“Oh, fuck me.” he said, letting his fingers through his hair. “You’re making me throb like crazy.”
He could feel your thighs clenching from the desire, almost beginning to tremble, as you started to lose yourself on top of him. Your warm fingers were now placed firmly on his lower abdomen, right where Freddie was starting to feel the pleasure build up briskly. He loved that you weren't necessarily riding his faster, but instead letting your weight go more and more on top of him, letting that delicious pressure heighten the feeling.
Freddie could feel your entrance slide on him, and it was starting to become unbearable. He sat up, wrapping your arms around your low back, finding your hazy eyes as you didn’t quit your movements.
“You want it so bad, don’t you?” Freddie whispered into your lips. “You’re driving me crazy. baby.”
You almost fell onto him, your glistening and plump lips bouncing against his over and over in a series of aggressive and sensual kisses. If there was a lack of dominance before, it had now turned into a messy and sloppy fight of a makeout session, constantly interrupted by little hasty pecks. The thought of letting you completely overtake his mouth made Freddie’s cock twitch against your swollen cunt.
“I can’t take this anymore, baby.” he said, his biceps easily picking you up and throwing you, face down on his mattress.
He swore he heard a little giggle as you hit the sheets, your ass slily sitting up and back for him. The quick movements made Freddie’s headache worsen, the room moving slightly; he didn’t know if it was his hangover or how turned on you had him, but he frankly only cared about one thing.
“You’ve had your fun for now, you minx.” he said, positioning the head of his cock at your entrance.
Freddie’s fingers grabbed your ass harshly as he bottomed out inside of you, his bottom lip tucked tightly beneath his teeth. His body covered in goosebumps rapidly as he felt his pubic hair touch your ass.
As he started thrusting he suddenly remembered filling you up in the same way the previous night. He remembered your hair tightly in his grip as he buckled his hips into yours over and over again, the sweetness of your moans sounding just how they did right now.
He began moving, slowly, in and out, letting his precum coat every inch of your walls.
“Oh, yes, baby. You’re so fucking perfect.” he groaned.
Freddie was a big man overall, towering way higher than you, and that translated to all of his body. You could feel the places inside you that had been touched by his cock the night before, traces of his touch marking you still. No matter how wet and ready you were for him, it was still a compact fit, his cock tightly snug inside you.
A big part of Freddie’s weight was resting on your ass and lower back, his strong forearms tensed as he pushed you down into the mattress and fucked himself deep into you.
It wasn’t enough.
He wanted to be closer to you, deeper.
And the more he pushed in, the louder it ripped moans out of you.
He could be really rough, as you vaguely remembered, but it was clear that Freddie had a shy, more reserved side, even as he started to pick up the pace. He only let go of his unyielding grip on you to gently reach over and turn your head to the side so your cheek was pressed against the mattress.
“No muffled sounds, baby.” he groaned, positioning himself back onto you. “I want to hear you.”
Just like that, he started hitting you harder, his swollen and leaking head tapping at your cervix by now.
“Oh, oh my god.” you moaned. The angle and pressure of his hands pushing your stomach down were creating a turmoil of pleasure in your hips. He was strong, but it was hard to keep from squirming back into him.
Seeing you struggle to keep your movements down caused Freddie’s cock to grow harder within you, almost jolting against that spot that made you quiver in pleasure every time.
He couldn’t believe this was unfolding right below his eyes. The mixture of pleasure, pain growing deeper in his head and straight frustration made his skin flush somehow deeper. The fact that he could only remember small moments from the night before was making him cramp with discouragement. He woke up next to a drop dead gorgeous girl, who was somehow already naked, funny, and sweet, and he couldn’t remember how he got her there.
Something about it made him thrust more aggressively.
It was hard and hot, and he didn’t feel good, he felt dehydrated and overheated, but at the same time, he was totally overwhelmed by your aura and your body, desire tingling within him.
“Oh, god.” he moaned. “I don’t even know your fucking name, and I-”
“Keep going, baby. Please fill me deeper. I want more.” you moaned, his hips rhythmically slapping against your ass.
It felt so dirty and primal to him, the fact that he could see and feel the spots he had been around the night before, even if he didn’t remember it. You were so close that his thighs were rubbing against yours, fully, both of your skins reddening at the stimulation.
Freddie was conflicted between focusing on it all or choosing to fixate on his balls slapping against your wet clit, your thighs quivering against his, your moans or your walls clenching tightly against his cock. The back and forth between it all and the memories of last night playing over again in the back of his head made his eyes roll all the way to the back of his head, legs twitching so hard that he brought his chest to your back, moving his grip to your hips. Your sweat mixed together whenever you both heaved, now moving in unison as your bodies were fully in contact again.
“Oh, fuck, I’m going to fill you up.” he moaned. “Oh, oh, this is, this not-”
There was a part of him that remained responsible; a part that knew that this was a very bad idea. But the pleasure had taken over, derailing whatever common sense he had left. He let his head fall in the crook of your neck, moving his face fully into your hair. The writhing of your body beneath him felt like ecstasy, the soft skin of your ass rubbing against his pubic bone. Every time he trusted deeper inside you, his chest would slide all the way up your back. He had you completely engulfed in his frame, his arms locking you tightly flush against his body.
“Oh, baby.” he moaned, right before a series of curses tumbled from his mouth as he felt your pussy flutter around him, slowly beginning to crumble in his arms.
Your orgasm hit so deep, his cock pounding into you, that you failed to control or hold back any moans, all of it pouring out of you at once. Feeling you tremble so hard in his arms, Freddie wasn’t far behind.
He buried his face all the way in your hair, letting your smell overcome him as he shot thick ropes of cum inside you, his big thighs tensing against you. He couldn’t help but squeeze you tighter and tighter, craving to feel your quivering body against his as you kept coming around his twitching member.
Heavy breathing filled the room as you both stayed immobile, his body growing heavy around yours.
“Oh, my god.” you whispered.
Freddie couldn’t help but chuckle, his arms eventually releasing you as he sat up, letting his cock grow soft inside your warm, cum filled pussy.
“You’re so beautiful, by the way.” he said, running his fingers through your hair to find your flushed face looking for him already. “Oh, my god, indeed.”
Your laughs turned into simultaneous whimpers he pulled his cock out of you before coming to sit next to you.
Freddie’s eyes traveled down your body as he trailed his fingers up and down your back, right until you had enough energy to sit up and find him with a kiss.
“Fuck.” he said, eyes staring deeply into yours. “This is going to be embarrassing but…. what’s your name?”

18+ under the cut teehee. for you anon <3
freddie is insatiable. he's on another level when he gets like this, almost like a different man. his eyes get a little bit darker, grip is a little tighter, breaths are deeper. his thrusts get a little harder.
you both agreed to start trying for children recently, after been together for some time and getting to do all of the married couple things together that you wanted, traveling and making memories just the two of you; it was time that you add a third into the mix. and freddie was all over the idea. you couldn't even finish your sentence before he was pouncing on you.
he wanted everything to be just right and special, not just another night in bed. he took you out to dinner for your last real date night before things get crazy with hockey season, pre season camps, and getting back into proper training. he wanted to make sure that you were getting what you needed before his attention had to be elsewhere for a season.
right as soon as you walked in the front door is when it all started. locking the door he came up behind you and picked you up taking you straight upstairs to where he would begin to ravish, love, and adorn you for however long he decided.
he undressed you then undressed himself. it was like he re-learned your body each time; every time he made love he found all of his favorite places on your body each time again as if he had forgotten them from the time before. learning once again how and what makes you tug on his hair and squeeze your thighs around his head as he laps everything up into his mouth that trickles out of you.
he loves mouthing and eating at your core. if he had the time and the stamina, he would do it all day. he loves the way you taste, and if he thinks about it during the middle of the day sometimes he still can taste you and it'll distract his thoughts. that just means that when he gets home he'll have to kneel down in front of you and hook your legs over his shoulder once again to satisfy his day long thoughts.
he treasures the way your walls enclose on his hard cock right as he slides in all the way. how once he's in there's no escaping, there's no pulling out until he knows that you are one hundred percent satisfied.
he always starts off slow, allowing your body to get used to his once again. letting your body remember what it feels like to be loved by him in the truest form. freddie tucks his head into the crook of your neck, daring to leave love bites there on your tender skin.
he molds his hands with yours, stretching out both of your arms together above your head his thrusts get deeper and faster, and all you can do in response is tighten your legs and moan into his ear praises about how good he is making you feel. he loves to make you moan. he loves to make you wrap your legs around his body.
it lets him know that he is in control of your pleasure- he is the one making you feel good and nothing else can. nothing but his raw sex can make you moan like that.
at this point he's made you cum more than twice and he can feel you climaxing to a third one and by this point, he's ready to spill inside you. normally he cums into a condom but this time he gets to let it spill inside of you and let mother nature do her thing.
he's panting, one hand grasping onto your body so tightly you know he's gonna leave a hand shaped bruise in the morning, and the other is still holding your hand. your free hand is raking down his back surely drawing just the tiniest amount of blood. freddie always thinks that's hot.
as soon as he cums deep inside of you he lets the air out of his lungs with a sigh. he doesn't pull out just yet, afraid to waste any. he logically knows that the chances of getting pregnant on the first try are slim to none, but still, he can't waste his hard work can he?
rising up, cock still inside of you, you can see his sweaty chest and how some strands of hair were sticking to his forehead. he leans down to kiss you, his hand cupping your cheek. slowly he pulls his cock out of you and with two fingers pushes back in what came out making you gasp.
he kisses a trail up your body then up toward your lips again. freddie pulls away, "we'll do round two in a little bit, just wanna love on you for now," and you know full well it doesn't take long for freddie to get hard again.

STUPID OSCAR HARRISON
"gentle ear rubs because person b knows person a loves them." (from this prompt list)
"ANDERSEN ADVENTURES" SERIES MASTERLIST
tw: kids/children
freddie felt like his head was going to explode. he now had even more love and respect for you than he did before. you were sick so he was taking care of both alma and elias.
he was a good father, there was no doubt, but alma was in her clingy stage and only wanted to be held by you and elias was in his curious stage so he was always off making explosions or digging something up in the backyard.
jasper eased his nerves as he lay by your side, playing the role of protector.
with alma and elias distracted with a movie in the living room, freddie snuck up to your bedroom where you were passed out asleep. the bags under your eyes from the lack of sleep were becoming more evident, so he did his best to stay quiet.
jasper whined when he saw the door open. he looked up, but when he saw who it was, he put his head back down on your stomach, keeping watch on you.
freddie carefully got into bed next to you and cupped your cheek, caressing your cheek softly. you mumbled and shuffled but didn't wake up.
he watched you sleep peacefully for almost half an hour, checking the baby monitor in the living room to make sure elias and alma were both okay every so often.
you woke up to a coughing fit, which startled both jasper and freddie. once you were done hacking up a lung, you laid back down and sighed, "is there anything i can get you?"
"drugs." you responded, "it was little oscar harrison who got me sick, i know it."
"the little kid in eli's school?"
"eli said he was coughing during storytime that one time. i picked him up and eli let oscar borrow his toy."
"and he got you sick?"
"yes! that's the only explanation!" you told him loudly, leaving more coughing.
"all right, let's just lay back down. i know, it's all oscar's fault that you're sick." freddie nodded in agreement, helping you lay back down.
you laid back down and frowned, "i hate being sick."
"i know." he sighed, cupping your neck and rubbing the spot behind your ear. you sighed happily, "go back to sleep. i'll bring up some soup later."
"thank you, fred." you smiled, yawning then closing your eyes.
"i love you." he whispered, leaning down and kissing your forehead before grabbing his phone, giving jasper one last scratch, then heading down to the living room to finish the movie with elias and alma.

When the familiar scene starts to play out on the TV, you rewind and pause. A small smile covers your face as you call out for Freddie. He rushes in from the kitchen and takes a seat next to you on the couch.
"Mm, what's up?" he asks.
"I need your undivided attention for the night fourish minutes," you tell him, extreme seriousness tinged in your voice.
"You know," he begins, "you always have my undivided attention, so there's nothing to worry about that."
His words warm your chest, and suddenly, you forget why you asked for him. You're staring deep into his eyes as you let the words soak in. Who lets this man be this sweet to you? Who lets this man turn your insides warm and fuzzy with just one sentence? Who lets this man distract you like this with just one sentence?
"So, what did you need me for?" Freddie asks, knowing exactly the effect he has on you.
"I have to show you this scene from one of my favorite shows," you tell him. "You've never seen the show, so I'm going to one-by-one show you all the best scenes."
"What's the show?"
"Brooklyn-Nine-Nine," you tell him. "Now, sh. No talking, and no breathing loudly."
"I'm not even—"
"Shhh." You stop him and turn back to the TV. You press play and watch the familiar opening to the Cold Open.
"So, do you recognize any of these men?" Jake Peralta on your screen says, launching into one of the greatest Cold Opens of all time. Freddie chuckles when each of the men begins to nervously and confusedly sing the song. A loud chuckle leaves his body when the group begins to sing the chorus together.
"It was number five," the woman on the screen says. "Number five killed my brother."
When the show cuts to the beginning theme, you pause the show and turn back to Freddie.
"Funny?" you ask. "There's only one right answer, so be careful."
"It was funny," Freddie answers correctly with a smile on his face.
"So, has that convinced you to watch the show with me?"
"You could have just asked me, and I'd watch it with you."
"Yeah?" you ask for confirmation.
"Mhm," he responds. "So, are we starting from episode one?"
"Oh, yeah, and you're not leaving this couch unless you absolutely have to."
Freddie chuckles. "I could never imagine disobeying that order."

;; Nu är det jul igen written for @mp0625 the hockey girlies fic exchange
Summary: You spend your first Christmas with your boyfriend, Freddie Andersen. Word Count: 1.2k+
A/N: It's a miracle that I was able to get enough time to get this one done! I was worried I was going to run out of time! Thank you Mara or taking the time to coordinate the exchange! It was a pleasure writing for you this year. Happy Holidays to all, I hope enjoy!
The scent in the air could only really be defined as the holidays. It was a whimsical mixture of sugar cookies, pine needles, and the simmering pot of citrus and cinnamon that you had on the stove. It was just like how it smelt back home at Christmas every year, but this year, you weren't at home with your family. This year, you were spending Christmas with your boyfriend, Freddie.
With the tight schedule, the National Hockey League kept, the holiday season could be lonely for some. Not every man on the roster had their family living in Carolina with them or could make one quick drive or flight out of state to see them for the few short days they had off. Freddie couldn’t fly home to Denmark. The 20+ hours of travel time made the trip unjustifiable. He would have to spend most of it in the air, losing precious time with his loved ones alone on a flight. And no one deserved to spend the holiday season alone.
That was why, the moment you found out he was remaining state-side for the holidays, you canceled all of your plans.
Your mother was more than understanding, although your father was wary as to why you didn’t just bring him home for the holidays. And you had half the mind to ask, but your relationship with Freddie was, well, in your mind, still new. The two of you had been together just over a year, but with his busy schedule, you found yourself apart more often than not. And while you were head over heels for him, and couldn’t wait to introduce him to your family, the last thing you wanted was to rush things.
With little protest, home for the holidays became spending Christmas Eve in Freddie’s apartment. It didn’t have the same novelties of home, but the two of you had spent the day getting into the Christmas spirit. You had put on the simmering pot in the morning, letting its smell relax you as you decorated the apartment and put up a small artificial tree in the corner, complete with lights and ornaments. Then, the two of you made cookies together, and come sunset, the two of you snacked on a charcuterie board of cheeses, nuts, meat, and fruit while bingeing some of your favorite holiday movies.
It was the last chance the two of you had to relax, because come Christmas Day, you would be conquering cooking Christmas dinner for yourselves for the first time. Which you didn’t even want to think about until morning. The giant turkey was all too intimidating for you as you sipped a glass of wine and watched the credits roll. A single hand fell to the remote, your thumb pressing the series of buttons to close the current movie and fall back into the holiday movie catalog on Netflix. Beside you, the couch shifted, Freddie getting up from his place beside you. And you didn't think much of it. Maybe he had to use the washroom or wanted to refill the bowl with some of the caramel popcorn you had made for your movie night.
Freddie didn’t return with a bowl. No, in his hands he had a large box. It wasn’t something that came in the mail, none of those big brown packing boxes. It was nicely wrapped in bright red paper with a bow so large it spilled off the top of the box and hung down the sides.
“I was going to wait until morning, but,” he started, his words perking you up with interest.
If you didn’t have to wait, you weren’t going to say no.
Opening your arms, you let Freddie settle the box in your lap. The sheer size of it left your heart racing. It wasn’t all that heavy, which gave you no clear indication of what may be inside. You hadn’t asked for anything too grand, either. Which made you all the more eager to open it.
Fingers lipped the bow from the box, the sticker holding the ribbon to the box leaving a colorless mark behind where the adhesive tore away the color. Then, you tore at the wrapping, leaving it in large rips at your sides, removing just enough to open the box and see what was inside.
The first thing you saw was a bouquet of daisies. Which made you smile. They were fresh, or as fresh as you could get them in the winter. Freddie must have just put the finishing touches on your gift before giving it to you.
“These are gorgeous,” you smiled up at him. The two of you loved daisies. They reminded him of home, and it had quickly become one of your favorites because of it.
“There’s more,” Freddie insisted, and you handed off the flowers to keep digging for more. Beneath the daisies was white green and red tissue paper and among it a series of other gifts. Your hands went to a smaller box fist. Inside, two crystal swans from Swarovski. Your eyes went wide as they rose to meet Freddie’s.
He smiled and nodded toward the box. There was more.
Then, unwrapped, a large bottle of akvavit and two glasses. And finally, an envelope. But as you reached for it, Freddie reached in with his goalie-fast reflexes and took it into his hold.
“Hey!” you shouted playfully.
“You will get it. But first, we drink. It’s tradition,” he explained with a grin, his hand wrapping around the bottle while he tucked the envelope beneath his thick thigh.
The bottle opened with a satisfying sound, and he filled each glass halfway. Together, you raised your glasses, and each took one large gulp of the liquor that burned as it traveled down your throat. It was only when your face contorted from the burn of the alcohol that Freddie offered you the envelope again.
Placing your drink down on the coffee table, you reached out and pinched the envelope between your fingers carefully. Whatever it was, he was just as excited for you to open it as you were to receive it. The gifts you already opened were just the precursor. In this envelope was the grand finale of gifts.
It’s a beautiful card, with a snowscape. Green pine trees, and snow a glitter that left traces behind on your skin. But it was what was in the card that mattered, and they fell right into your lap as you opened the card.
Two plane tickets to Denmark.
You stared at them, your eyes wide and your jaw slacked. You weren’t expecting that, and he could see it all over your face. A laugh rumbled through him, and you could feel it as his hands found your hips to draw you into his lap. “I want you to come home with me when the season is done. Meet my family.”
A heavy breath shook you, his gaze raising to meet his warm stare. You had been on the same page the entire time but had always been too worried to ask. But he was telling you now. The two of you were serious. He wanted you to meet his family, and he could meet yours. It left you beaming, your smile reaching your eyes as you gave him an eager nod. Of course, you would go, and you sealed the agreement with a warm, simple kiss with both of his hands, cradling each of your cheeks as he drew you in. And as he held you there, he pulled back ever so slightly and muttered out a soft, Merry Christmas.

Freddie Andersen x Reader
Thank you Demi @wyattjohnston for doing this little love fic fest thingy, it was so fun to do!!! I am choosing to do number 3 from the Fluff column “Are you about to monologue your feelings for me?”
A/N: I was planning on doing an angsty one but I wrote this at 5am on valentine’s Day cause insomnia sucks so y’all are getting fluffy. Sorry if it makes no sense, it made sense to my half asleep brain but I promise I did reread it before I posted it. Sorry it’s super short.
Tumblr media
“Hey Freddie I don’t know if you’ll hear this as you’re in the middle of a game, but I have something to tell you and when you get this will you call..”
“Y/N, you do know I’ve been on this call the whole time?”
“What? I thought I heard the beep, and aren't you in the middle of a game?”
“It's the second intermission, I don’t know how you heard a beep, I’m sitting in the locker room. Are you about to monologue your feelings for me via voicemail?”
“Maybe, can I or do I need to hang up the phone and call again so I get voice mail?”
“You can do it now.” And you could tell he had the biggest grin on his face.
“Freddie, you know how you asked me to move in with you right before you left for the road trip and I was so stunned I couldn’t answer you right away and you told me to take my time, I think I know my answer. Yes. I would love to move in with you and all of your plants. And you make the best dinner in the world, and I can’t wait to take our relationship to the next level!!” After your monologue you couldn’t hear anything from the otherside of the phone.
After a moment he softly spoke. “I can’t wait for you to move in with me.” And you could hear the tears in his voice. “Hey, I’m sorry I can’t talk longer we are about to go back out for the third.”

I’ll always guide you home - F. Andersen
Tumblr media
Summary: Three years into dating Freddie Andersen, and Karla Nielsen still gets butterflies.
Words: 1.6k
This is my fic for @callsign-denmark’s birthday bingo! I chose the bingo squares surprises, anniversary, free space (‘Christmas’), “Say it again”, and learning to cook, as well as a few other of your favourite things (including our favourite fridge Freddie), so I really hope you like this!
Tumblr media
Warnings: fluff, sugary sweetness, christmas in july.
Title: Never gonna let you down, by Colbie Caillat.
*
“Happy three years elskede.”
Beloved. Karla couldn’t stop the smile that spread across her face at the sound of her boyfriend’s rumbling voice, giggling as he slid his arms around her from behind, resting her hands on the kitchen counter next to the Christmas gift tags she’d been writing.
“Good morning to you too,” she grinned, tilting her head up for a kiss, “and happy anniversary.”
Freddie hummed happily to the Mariah Carey music playing quietly in the background as he ducked his head to kiss her, Karla just leaning into his body with a smile. Three years with this man and his sweet little kisses still thrilled her every time. He eventually pulled away after one final peck to her lips, burying his face in her long dark hair with another happy hum.
“You weren’t in bed when I woke up,” he murmured, words muffled, “Was worried until I smelled something amazing.”
Oh that sweet sweet man.
Karla turned around in his arms, resting both hands on his chest as she smiled up at him reassuringly, the twinkling lights from the Christmas tree only serving to highlight his messy red hair. He really had just rolled out of bed, hadn’t he?
“I just wanted to do something nice for you, that’s all.”
“Something nice for me?” he asked, confused.
“Well, yeah, it has been three years,” she said simply, smile not shifting.
“I don’t…I…”
Karla just giggled at his shocked stammering, patting his chest in a ‘there there’ motion. There wasn’t much that could surprise her boyfriend, she knew that after all this time, so it felt good to be able to keep him on his toes at least a little bit.
“You’re right that something smells good. I…I’ve been learning to cook some traditional Danish dishes recently, and I know how much you miss home around this time of year, so I wanted to make something that you love.”
While her father was Danish himself, he’d emigrated to the US not long after college and hadn’t really shared his home traditions with Karla and her brothers growing up. It had only really been since meeting Freddie that she had delved into her unknown heritage, trying to learn a little more each day. After connecting with her grandmother back in Aarhus, she’d been sent a recipe that even she couldn’t mess up as a novice – klejner. Little twists of fried dough dusted in powdered sugar. Simple but sweet, and something that she knew Freddie loved as a Christmas treat.
“What did you make me?”
“Well let’s see if it’s recognisable first,” she mused.
Freddie huffed out a laugh but nodded, so Karla turned around once more to open the oven door where the oven dish had been warming. Freddie took a step back to give her some room, and when she pulled out the dish with her oven mitts, his jaw dropped slightly, eyes shining in a way she hadn’t expected.
“You made klejner for me?” he asked, eyes wide.
“I tried at least?”
“You are…my god Karla, no-one’s ever done something like this for me. And like, I know you’re half Danish but this is…wow,” he murmured.
“It’s a good surprise then?” she asked hopefully, setting the dish down on the kitchen counter.
“It’s the best surprise,” he nodded, “Tak. Thank you. You’re…incredible.”
But then he cleared his throat, a look of disbelief on his face for a moment as he stared at the dish, before he smiled softly at her.
“Okay, wait there. I’ve got to get something.”
Before Karla could even ask him what was going on, he power-walked out of the kitchen, leaving her staring after him in confusion. What the hell? She knew in her gut that he wasn’t mad at her because he left the room with a smile, but this abrupt behaviour was odd, even for him.
Maybe he was just giving her a Christmas present early? There were still two weeks to go…but she honestly couldn’t think of what else, what ‘something’, he could possibly be getting right now that couldn’t wait.
In the end, as she heard him rustling around in their bedroom, she took the time to put the klejner onto a Christmas plate that her mom had sent her – a subtle one, snowflakes and a winter woodland scene, unlike some of the garish reindeer and snowmen ones she knew her mom owned for herself – and by the time she’d put the original oven dish in the sink to soak, she could hear Freddie walking back. So she braced herself against the kitchen counter again, apprehension filling her body in a way that she couldn’t control, but she still managed to push a hesitant smile onto her lips when he boyfriend’s large frame filled the doorway.
He looked a little frazzled, eyes a little wild and hair even messier than earlier like he’d been running his fingers through it, making her swallow heavily. What was going on? What was affecting him like this?
“You know that I love you, right?” Freddie said softly, eyes serious.
“I do…but say it again,” she said, teasing slightly to break the tension a little.
The tense air between them eased just as she hoped when Freddie cracked a smile and ducked his head briefly, before looking back at her with such warm emotion that butterflies erupted in her stomach. The things this man did to her.
“I love you. I love you so much that I don’t know what to do with myself sometimes. Every morning that I wake up with you in my arms, I know I’m the luckiest man in the world, and every morning we have to be apart I count the hours until I come back home to you. I’ve never felt like this for anyone, and I know I never will.”
“Freddie…” she murmured, trailing off as his sweet words overwhelmed her.
He took the chance to walk across the room, stopping a few feet away from her, and he held out both hands for her to step forward and take – which she did. There was something in the intensity of his gaze that made her blue eyes fill with tears. The way he looked at her - no-one else had ever looked at her like that, like she was their everything and more.
She remembered the way he had smiled at her when they first met, not too unlike how he was smiling at her now. A mutual friend had introduced them, had convinced both of them to go on a blind date because they were sure she and Freddie were ‘perfect’ for each other…and they’d been right. Ever since that first coffee date, there had been no-one else for her, and the rest was history. And here they were now.
“Karla. Elskede. The woman I love for so many reasons that I can’t possibly name them all,” he said softly.
She laughed, feeling a little incredulous, a smile tugging at the corner of Freddie’s lips.
“You made me klejner, on our anniversary. You put so much effort into something that you knew would make me happy, just like you always do. I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but I hope that I get to prove to you every day how much I appreciate it. How much I am never going to take you for granted. I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
As Nat King Cole’s voice filled their home, Karla watched as Freddie dropped her hands and stepped backwards…to kneel down on one knee. It felt like her world was in slow motion as he reached into the pocket of his sweatpants and pulled out the most beautiful white gold ring she’d ever seen, three square diamonds dotted across the top of the band. It was stunning. It was delicate. It was…Freddie?
“Karla Nielsen, will you marry me?”
Despite his shaky voice, Karla could tell by the emotion in his voice that he’d been planning this for a while. He wanted to marry her. He wanted to marry her.
“Okay you beat my surprise by a mile,” she giggled, voice thick with tears as well as more tears trickling down her cheeks.
“It wasn’t my intention I promise,” he said, huffing out a laugh.
It was all Karla could do to lean down where he was kneeling and press her lips to his in a slow intense kiss, feeling Freddie’s breath catch in his throat before she pulled away.
“Is that a yes?” he asked softly, hopefully.
“Jeg elsker dig så meget, min kære,” Karla said sweetly. I love you so much, my dear. “Of course it’s a yes.”
Her heart clenched in her chest as Freddie choked out a sob, but the moment that he smiled widely at her, sliding the ring onto her left hand, complete disbelief on his face like he hadn’t even thought about getting this far, the widest smile spread across her face too.
“Get up here and kiss me,” she murmured.
Freddie wasted no time in doing as she asked, cupping her face with both hands as he kissed her deeply, Karla clutching at his t-shirt for stability when he pushed her against the kitchen counter, the world fading out around her as his embrace consumed her body and soul. Freddie had proposed. Freddie had asked her to marry him. Freddie wanted to be her husband. Freddie wanted her to be his wife. And she’d said yes.
Merry Christmas to her.

Not Enough - F. Andersen
I'm afraid to say i'm officially back so i'm not going to :| however, I have been getting more inspired to write and I have a few works that i've been wanting to post.
this drabble is full of angst which is something i've been writing a lot more...and before you say it, No...this isn't a self indulgent fic lol. It's simply something I thought of when I gained motivation while watching kdramas
in whatever way you take this, i just hope you enjoy it :) it's been a while so forgive me...
Fred walked in your shared apartment, placing his keys down and wiping his forehead to rid himself of the sweat he still produced from practice.
He would have showered at the arena, but he hoped you’d be willing to shower with him when he got home, seeing as you both haven’t had too much time for each other in the last two months due to your new promotion at work and the Canes being in the playoffs, and now that it’s the weekend and you’re both free for the first time in what feels like forever, he’s been a little excited to spend some quality time with his girlfriend.
You on the other hand, had just finished packing an overnight bag and are now sitting on the edge of your bed, tears now dried on your cheeks with new ones threatening to leak over your eyelashes.
You knew your and Fred’s relationship was on the rockier side for awhile, barely seeing each other despite living together, having little to no time to say more than two words to each other. You knew it was getting to Freddie, but you also hoped that you’d pull through, like you always do.
You didn’t expect this.
“Hey elskede.” Freddie’s words made you jump, quickly turning your head to look up at his figure entering the room.
Freddie’s smile turned down, a look of concern washing over his face upon seeing your dried tears and red eyes, “What’s wrong baby?”
You could practically scoff at his audacity.
“Why don’t you ask Brady, you two seem to have gotten awfully close lately.” You mutter bitterly, wiping your nose and cheeks with your sleeve
Freddie’s heart stops for a second,
no…there’s no way you found out…
“Elskede, what are you talking about?” He’s playing dumb, he knows he is, but in his defence, he never thought you’d ever find out.
“Freddie please, the last thing I need right now is for you to lie to me, I already know…I just-I need to hear you say it.”
You’re practically falling apart in front of him, the news hit you like a ton of bricks, and you don’t know if there’s any hope for your relationship after this.
“Let me explain…” Fred started but paused when you closed your eyes and sighed defeatedly
“W-we were going through a tough spot in our relationship a-and I didn’t know what to do, when you said you couldn’t attend Mitchy’s wedding I was even more frustrated, and the guys wanted me to loosen up so-”
Catching his words, you cut him off, “Woah, wait-wait!”
Freddie stops.
“You mean to tell me…that this has been going on since Mitch and Steph’s wedding?!”
Realizing his mistake, Fred can’t say anymore, knowing he fucked up.
It made since now; the arguments about his lack of free time, the last minute “new year’s trip” to see his family, him being way busier this time around the playoffs than usual, having a newfound understanding of all your late-night workdays, his late evening workdays where you assumed practice ran later than usual…
“Oh my god…I’m such a fucking idiot!”
You couldn’t take it anymore, you gather your things and sling your bag over your shoulder, a fresh set of tears flowing freely
Fred moves fast, grabbing your upper arm, “No please, elskede you can’t-”
“I can’t leave? Not only did I find out you cheated on me, but I find out it’s been multiple times, since Mitch’s wedding which was what, in July? It’s fucking April you piece of shit!”
You push him off you and rip your arm from his grasp, “So yeah, I think it’s safe to say I’m allowed to leave you.”
Tears are gathering in Freddie’s eyes, and he finds himself losing control of his breathing, “Please, I’m sorry baby, don’t leave, I’ll fix this.”
He follows you out of the room, and as soon as you open the door, he smacks his palm against it, slamming it back shut
“Fred, move!”
You aren’t in the mood for games, but Fred isn’t willing to give you up this easily
Taking a deep breath, you will yourself to look in him in the eyes, almost breaking at the fact they’re even redder than yours, but you remind yourself this is his fault, he did this to you both,
“Just…tell me one thing…”
He puts his full attention on you, reaching to hold your hands in his
“Were they different every time, or is it the same person?” You’re honestly scared of the answer, not sure which one will make you break more. If it’s multiple, then there’s something he’s missing that you guys no longer have in your relationship, but if it’s just one girl, then there’s something he’s missing within you.
He’s quiet, and you’re searching his face for any sort of hint or giveaway. When his face drops, you have it.
“Well…” you muster all of the strength you have inside you, “I hope she was worth losing everything that we had, everything I sacrificed to build this life with you, a life that was so easy for you to throw away.”
You shake his hands off you, ripping the door open and leaving him for good, “Goodbye Freddie.”
Fred falls to his knees as soon as the door closes, letting out everything he was holding in.
“FUUUCK!!” He grabs the shoe rack in the closet, tossing it to the living room and hearing a loud crash to which he pays no mind, it doesn’t matter anyway.
Nothing matters anymore, he’s lost you for good and it’s nobody’s fault but his own. He knows he can only call one person right now, someone he knows won’t be upset with him, someone he knows he really shouldn’t call, especially right now. But Freddie is in love, or at least, that’s what he thinks.
Freddie is simply infatuated, he’s in love with the idea of what is, and honestly, what better way to take his mind off you than to call the one person he knows can do just that.
Picking his phone up, he swallows back all the guilt and sorrow he’s feeling right now,
“Hey Anna, you should come over…”

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media

Tropes & warnings; establishd relationship; soft!Freddie; no warnings;
Other notes; Wrapping up the "250 FOLLOWERS CELEBRATION" with some (short) good old-fashioned Freddie fluff 🌺 Thank you all so much for joining in the festivities! It's been an absolute pleasure! 🥂
Word count; 1.5K
・✶ 。゚
On a night in late February, Freddie shifted in bed, his breaths coming in shallow gasps. Beads of sweat were glistening on his forehead, his hands trembling as he clutched the sheets. The nightmares had returned, tormenting him relentlessly in the dead of night.
Sensing his distress, you stirred awake beside him, and with a soft tone of voice, you reached out, your hand finding his damp skin, offering a reassuring touch. "Freddie," you whispered gently, trying to bring him back to the present. "It's alright. Shh... I'm here."
His eyes flickered open, fear and confusion clouding them, as it took him a moment to realise you were there, to see the familiar outline of your face illuminated by the moonlight streaming through the curtains.
"Y/N..." His voice cracked, his throat dry from the remnants of his nightmare. "I... I had a nightmare..”
You did your best to pull him into your arms, holding him close, providing the warmth and security he desperately craved. His large frame enveloped by your small embrace. “Hey, you know you don't have to face this on your own," you murmured, planting a soft kiss on his forehead. "I'm right here with you, Freddie. Always."
The larger goaltender clung to you tighter, seeking comfort in the safety of your embrace. "I'm scared," he confessed, his voice barely audible.
And you knew just how difficult it was for Freddie to acknowledge his fears, to allow himself to be open and vulnerable. He had always been stoic, keeping his emotions tightly held, even from you at times. But you had persisted, gently encouraging him to share, and reassured him that it was safe to lower his guard, especially with you.
It hadn’t exactly been a straightforward journey for the two of you. There were times when he pushed you away, his defences solid as he battled his inner demons. Yet, you remained unwavering, refusing to abandon him, believing in him even when he couldn't find belief in himself.
It had been some of the fiercest battles between the two of you. Despite only being in a committed relationship for just about two years, it had truly tested your limits. Yet, interestingly enough, it had also drawn you a lot closer to each other.
You emphasised that your choice to be with him wasn't based on his career, but solely on your love for him. And this had encouraged him to gradually open up. Step by step, he let down his guard, sharing his fears and doubts with you. It was a journey marked by setbacks and trials, but with each step forward, your bond deepened, fortified by the trust and intimacy you cultivated together.
And as he trembled in your embrace, his barriers crumbling beneath the weight of his nightmares, you held him tight, grateful for the progress you'd made. Though, you knew there would still be obstacles ahead, moments of uncertainty and apprehension, you were confident you could face whatever challenges lay ahead with each other's support.
"I know you’re scared,” you replied softly, your own heart heavy with empathy for the vulnerability in his voice. "But you're strong, Freddie. You've battled through so much already. And I know you can overcome this too."
As he gradually began to relax, you couldn't help but reflect on the journey you both had endured. The uncertainty, the fear, and the relentless determination that had led you to this moment.
Since Freddie's diagnosis with the blood clot issues, it had been a challenging journey. The uncertainty of whether he'd ever play hockey again had loomed over both of you like a shadow. Yet, through it all, you remained steadfast by his side, offering unwavering support and love.
There had been countless nights like this, where nightmares shattered his sleep, leaving him shaken and disoriented. And each time, you had been there to dispel the darkness, reminding him that he wasn't alone.
Minutes passed in silence, interrupted only by the steady rhythm of your breaths and the gentle reassurance you whispered into his ear. Eventually, his heartbeat slowed, his body relaxing against yours as sleep reclaimed him.
You held him tightly, aware of the turmoil in his head but resolute in your commitment to face any challenges together. As the night enveloped you in its quiet embrace, you knew that together, you were stronger than any obstacle that may come your way.
**
The next evening, as the moon once again cast its gentle glow through the window, Freddie's demeanour had shifted. The tension from the previous night had dissipated, replaced by a quiet determination tinged with nervous anticipation.
Seated together in the cozy embrace of the evening during a romantic dinner at your shared home, every detail spoke volumes of intimacy and love. The dining table was adorned with flickering candles, their warm light dancing across delicate china and sparkling silverware. A bouquet of fresh flowers graced the centre, their sweet fragrance mingling with the aroma of the meal you had prepared together.
It wasn’t particularly anything out of the ordinary, as Freddie had a tendency to try and make up for his distressful behaviour through nothing but romance.
However, as you both savoured the delicious meal, Freddie suddenly took a deep breath, his gaze meeting yours with unwavering intensity. Flashing him a sweet smile, you waited patiently for him to speak his mind.
"Y/N," he began, his voice steady but tinged with vulnerability. "There's something I want to ask you."
Your heart quickened slightly, feeling the weight of his words as you watched him closely, a sense of anticipation filling the air between you.
"I've been thinking a lot," Freddie continued, his fingers nervously intertwining with yours. "About us, about our future together."
A smile spread across your face, warmth flooding your chest at the sincerity in his words. Yet you weren’t entirely sure where he was going with it.
"I know I haven't always been great at expressing myself," he confessed, his gaze briefly drifting away before returning to meet yours. "But you've been my rock, through thick and thin. And I can't imagine facing life's challenges without you by my side."
The tender admission stirred a rush of emotion within you, your heart swelling with love for the man sitting before you. "Freddie, you don't have to say this," you assured him, reaching out to cup his cheek gently. "I just want you to be happy."
But Freddie's determination persisted, a glint of resolve in his eyes as he took another steadying breath. "I know , Y/N, but there's something more I need to say," he insisted, his voice soft yet resolute.
With bated breath, you waited quietly, hanging onto his every word, captivated by the vulnerability he was revealing.
"I've come to realise that I've held back too much, that I've let fear keep me from fully expressing how I feel," Freddie confessed, his gaze locking onto yours with unwavering intensity. "But I don't want to do that anymore. I want to be honest with you, to show you just how much you mean to me."
Tears welled in your eyes at his heartfelt confession, the depth of his emotions washing over you like a tidal wave. "Freddie..."
Taking a deep breath, Freddie reached into his pocket, producing a small velvet box. And with a determined yet trembling hand, he rose from his seat and walked over to your side of the table. There, bathed in the soft glow of the moonlight filtering through the window, he knelt beside you, his eyes never leaving yours.
With another deep breath, he opened the box, revealing a delicate ring nestled within its plush confines. The glimmer of the candle lights danced upon the polished diamond.
Taken aback by his actions, your breath caught in your throat as you beheld the ring, its beauty only surpassed by the love and sincerity radiating from Freddie's gaze. Every line and curve of the ring seemed to speak of his devotion, a silent hint of how he’d chosen it carefully and with a lot fo thought.
"Y/N Y/L/N," Freddie began, his voice a gentle whisper, "will you marry me?"
Emotion swelled within you, a flood of joy and gratitude threatening to overwhelm your senses. Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes as you nodded, unable to find the words to express the depth of your love for him.
"Y-yes, Freddie," you managed to choke out, your voice barely above a whisper. "Yes, I will marry you."
A radiant smile spread across Freddie's face, illuminating the room with its warmth as he slipped the ring onto your finger. It fit perfectly, a symbol of the bond that bound your hearts together.
“It’s not too soon?” He questioned nervously, hints in his eyes of concern he’d scared you away.
But you simply shook your head. “No, not at all,” you chuckled lightly. “Freddie with all we’ve been through, I can’t imagine being with anyone else.”
And in that moment, as you sealed the engaging a kiss, and held each other close, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the night, you knew that your love was a force to be reckoned with. Gazing into each other's eyes, filled with love and promise, you knew that your journey together was just beginning, a path paved with endless possibilities and boundless love.

I'm BEGGING for Freddie Anderson and "call me on your way home"
-💍
soft blurb night | contains: fluff
Tumblr media
"promise?"
you hear freddie laugh on the other side of the phone. you can hear the guys in the locker room hollering at one another, sharing inappropriate language with one another.
"honey i'm not gonna call you when i get off the plane, it'll be like two in the morning." fred is leaning back against the wall, the two sides of the stall-locker closing him in while he holds the phone against his ear.
he knows how bad you miss him when he's gone on multi-game road trips like this. fred also missed you terribly; by about game three the face time calls and the text messages aren't doing it for him. he aches to get home and fall in bed next to you.
you sigh, "i just wanna make sure you make it home safely, babe." he could hear how tired you were in your voice, and he grinned a little bit before he responded. "call me on your way home, please?"
he sighed, closing his eyes and biting back a laugh. "okay, i'll call you on my way home to appease you. you sound tired, can you get some rest before i do that please?"
"fine. but i'm leaving my ringer on." you turn over in bed and flip the lights off, turning the television on while you wait for freds game to start. "good luck freddie, don't get too frustrated out there. i need you with all of your teeth."
he chuckled, "i'll try my love, i'll talk to you later yeah? love you lots."
"i love you too."

This year's Winter Classic game was right in your backyard, so you didn't have to travel anywhere. And being 7, almost 8 months, Freddie was happy too.
Normally, he was protective of you, Elias, and Jasper, but with you being pregnant, that protective meter had gone up to 10,000.
"I can still be scratched." Freddie pointed out as he packed his bag. His parents, and practically the entire Andersen family, had flown in for the special game because the Canes had their annual father's trip and Ernst had flown in to be there for it.
They had been staying with you for the entire week, helping with Elias and giving you and Freddie time alone, which was well needed.
"Frederik, no." You shut him down, "I'll be fine. I'm not gonna be alone. We've invited everyone under the sun to be here. I'll be okay. Stop worrying." You reassured.
"I can't help it. I'm a worrier, I worry." He looked panicked as he wrapped you in a hug.
"Okay, well you can do your worrying elsewhere." You glanced at your phone and checked the time, "If you're late, you'll probably be scratched."
"Don't tempt me." He sighed, pressing a last kiss to your head before he pulled away and zipped up his bag, and set it by the door, "I'll see you later right?"
"Yeah, Eli can't wait. He's been telling everyone we meet that he's gonna skate with his papa."
"Everyone?" Freddie asked, raising a brow.
"The security guard at the mall and Eli are practically best friends." You nodded.
Freddie smiled, "I packed your car already, so everything is packed so you don't have to do anything."
"Awh, what a gentleman." You joked, wrapping your arms around his waist again, "I'll see you later."
"Later." He nodded, a look of panic still visible on his face.
"We're okay." You reassured, running a hand through his hair, something you did to Elias when he was upset which you learned early on was a trait he picked up from his father.
"I know." He nodded, practically folding in half and leaning his head down on your shoulder, "Don't want to, though." He muttered.
"Well, if you don't go to work, how else will we ever support our children?" You spoke dramatically.
He picked his head up to find you smiling, "Fine." He pulled away, "I'll see you later." He kissed your forehead before grabbing his bag by the doorway and heading towards Elias' room.
"I love you." You called after him. He stopped and turned around, hugging you again, then kissing his fingertips and pressing them to your bump.
"Love you both." He smiled. You leaned up and he met you halfway.
-
You left not long after Freddie but didn't see him for many hours. The family skate took place after the Canes practice on the ice for the first time.
He was decked out in his Andersen jersey, wearing his '31' beanie and his little hockey pads Freddie had ordered one night when he was emotional that Elias was growing.
"Look, there's papa." You pointed to the ice where Freddie was skating around with a few other teammates. All the other families were getting their skates on as well.
His parents were walking behind you, eyes wide as they took in the scene, "Papa." He wiggled, wanting to be put down.
Freddie looked up from his conversation and saw you walking over to the ice. He excused himself and skated over, "Hi, buddy." You lifted him over the barrier and handed him off to Freddie.
Elias refused to let go of your hand, so you stayed right where you were, "You excited to skate?" He nodded, a big smile on his face, "You smell like chocolate." Elias giggled as Freddie blew raspberries on his neck.
"He had some of those mini chocolate muffins in the car." You smiled as Elias tried to squirm away from Freddie's kisses.
Elias pulled away, his eyes trained on the ice where everyone else was beginning to skate, "Skate now?" He pointed.
"You want to skate?" Elias nodded, "All right, let's get your skates." Freddie fixed Elias' hat before skating to the exit and finding an empty spot on the bench.
You sat down and Freddie set him on your lap and tied Elias' skates, carefully lacing them and tightening them, but not too tight. His eyes were glued to the ice, pointing out every little thing that was happening.
"I know, wow." Your eyes widened when he pointed out a trick someone was doing on the ice.
"Skate, too?" Elias asked you.
"I don't know, bud." You pointed to your bump. He looked up at you with sad eyes, "Don't give me those eyes." You tickled his neck, causing him to giggle and try to move away from you.
"Mama probably shouldn't skate, bud," Freddie spoke up. He looked sad with that revelation, "But we'll have fun." You handed Elias off to Freddie, who carried him over to the ice.
Elias looked back at you, a frown on his face, "You'll have fun." You waved. He shook his head, reaching out for you. Freddie stopped and headed back over to you, "What's wrong, E?"
"Mama skate, too." He whined, cuddling into your neck.
You and Freddie shared a look, "What if I don't skate and just walk on the ice? Will that be better?" He pulled his head up and looked happier, "I guess that's our answer." You walked over to the entrance of the rink.
You handed Elias off to Freddie's mom, who was already on the ice and climbed onto the ice with Freddie's help. Elias skated around with his grandparents for a few laps before he began to cry and wanted to be held by you and only you.
You tried to hand him off to Freddie while you took off your jacket but Elias held onto you so tight he left imprints on you with his little nails, "All right, I won't put you down, but this won't be easy one-handed." Elias only gave you a smile, happy that you weren't putting him down.
You sighed. You walked around the ice with him, pointing out all the different things and letting him point out all the things he found interesting.
"So, he's in the clinger stage, huh?" One of the girls commented as she skated up next to you. Elias was, in fact, clinging to you like his life depended on it.
"You could say that." You chuckled, rubbing his back.
"Cherish it 'cause one day they won't be like this. All cuddly." You only smiled.
-
The next day, Freddie was out early for early practice, leaving you and Elias alone with all his family. You all hung out until it was time for the game.
You got him dressed in the outfit Freddie had meticulously crafted weeks in advance, wanting everything to be perfect. He was wearing his Andersen jersey and a Canes beanie with a pompom.
During the game, Elias' eyes, the same as his father's, were darting around everywhere. The day before, at the family skate, it wasn't hardly as electric as it was at that moment.
"Mama, look." He grabbed your arm and pointed up to something you couldn't quite see, but you played along.
"Wow, look at that." You gasped.
More than halfway through the second period, your eyes were on the ice and yet you still couldn't find the puck. You caught Freddie catching the puck and sending it down the ice to Turbo who was all the way down the ice.
Turbo shot it across to the other side to Nechas. The Caps player in front of them was trying to stop the puck but ended up tripping, giving Nechas time to shoot ot back over to Turbo, who took the shot.
You jumped up, cheering with everyone around you as the fans around you went crazy, "Did you see that, Eli?" You looked down at Elias, who looked confused, "Papa got an assist!" You cheered as the goal horn sounded.
-
After the game, Freddie was stopped before he got off the ice to do media, "Now, I think you might have set the record for how many family members you have here. How many do you have?"
Freddie chuckled, "Yeah, there's a lot. My wife and son, obviously. My parents, siblings, cousins, and my 75-year-old grandfather. pretty cool that he could make it out here. Means a lot to have them all here."
"Well, congrats to you. All the best."
"Thank you so much." Freddie nodded.
-
After the game, Elias was out. He had passed out sometime between the end of the game and media. Someone in your gigantic party had taken your car and driven everyone else home, so you waited for Freddie in his car.
You were playing soft music for Elias, so he would actually stay asleep and were startled when you heard the trunk open. You relaxed when you realized who it was.
Instead of heading to the driver's side, he made his way over to your side and opened the door. You smiled, "Did you have fun?"
"So much fun." He nodded, a smile on his face, "How's baby?"
"Baby's fine. A little hungry, but we had some fries and a sandwich."
"Good." He nodded, "And how was Eli?"
"He had fun. He was a little confused, but he had fun." You yawned, closing your eyes.
"All right, let's get you home." He leaned over and kissed your forehead.
"Wait, we're supposed to celebrate you. You got an assist!" Freddie smiled.
"We can celebrate tomorrow." He softly shut your door and headed over to the driver's side.

Hey! Could you please do song blurb 125 with Freddie Andersen? 💛
125. Falling by Harry Styles (This one is kind of mean, so I'm sorry about that.)

This was the last-ditch effort to try to save your marriage. Never did you or Freddie think that it would get this bad. When you got married two years after dating for just over a year and a half, it all made sense. Neither of you cared about your parents or your friends telling you it was too soon because, after all, what did they know? They didn't know about the easy, comfortable strolls around the park. They didn't know about the late-night talks with ice cream and cookies. They didn't know about the quiet talks underneath the blankets as you shared your fears and hopes for the future. At the time, it made sense to marry Freddie.
Until it didn't.
Until the little things that you swore were reasons you loved Freddie for started to aggravate you. Until you focused on those little things and wondered why were you with this man? Until the small pet peeves you had were all draped over Freddie, and it turned out he was one giant pet peeve. He was filled with all the pet peeves you have.
It didn't make sense anymore. You couldn't remember why you loved him. That's when you realized, you fell out of love. There wasn't anything left there. What was once a young, beautiful, growing love was no longer love. It was a call for help and giant red flag.
All those talks and strolls around the park and easy afternoons were great while they lasted. You and Freddie fell out of sync with each other somewhere down the line, and now, you and Freddie are staring at a huge pile of divorce papers.
It wasn't supposed to happen like this. You and Freddie were supposed to take on the world and show them that you didn't have to follow the normal way that society did things. You and Freddie were supposed to show them all that all that matters was the people in the relationship. All outside opinions weren't supposed to matter. And they didn't. You and Freddie knew that the moment you said yes to getting married, it was right. There were no second glances or doubts. It was right, and it made sense.
Unfortunately, it didn't make sense anymore.
There was no lying about it. Whatever made sense about your marriage a year ago no longer applied. You and Freddie had both grown astronomically. A growth that didn't include the other. A growth that meant that you and Freddie couldn't make this marriage work.
Freddie insisted on one last effort to try to make it work. He suggested couples therapy, so you both went. Now, though, you're sitting in a coffee shop after, knowing that couples therapy wasn't going to work.
"I'm sorry, Fred," you say, gripping your coffee mug.
"Don't be," he says. "I went into it knowing that it might not be for us."
Nodding, you sigh. "Maybe we're not meant to be forever."
"Maybe not," he replies. In one sip, Freddie finishes his drink before getting. "I'll sign the papers and mail them to you. Take as much time as you need to find a new place and move."
"Okay," you murmur.
"No matter what," Freddie continues, "I don't regret what we did or what we had."
He doesn't wait for you to reply before he walks out of the coffeehouse. As you once heard, sometimes, people are in your life for a season, for a moment, or for a lifetime. For you and Freddie, you were in each other's lives for a season, and unfortunately, that season has come to an end way too soon.

went to this really cute and Instagram able wine pour bar tonight that's on the river, has fire pits and just all around great vibes. Going to bed pretending it was freddie on the couch instead of myfriends, although no offense to them. Freddie is the kind of guy you need to talk to over candlelight
YES! That would 100% be his scene.
He would always be nearby at the fires, a hand gently on your back, but once he's had a few glasses then he just can't keep his hands off. He basically has an arm thrown around you the entire time and would have his lips near your ear, whining anytime you tried to go somewhere without him, complaining he'd get cold.
At some point he'd want a little space from the crowd and would sneak a bottle of wine and take you down to the river. It would start with cute, little soft kisses, but the more he drank the longer and harder they'd become, gently biting your lower lip. You'd constantly be reminding him you aren't alone, and anyone could come by at any point and that's when he'd want to leave and get you home, where his kisses would no longer be soft and sweet.
