YES ! A couple but this time I will focus on how he met his Noivern or well, at the beginning of his journey, a little NOIBAT ! ( Despite my Hau being SUMO BASED, I still hc Noibat / Noivern as part of his main team ).

Noibats can be found in Melemele Island, over at Ilima’s trial. As I had mentioned before, Hau isn’t one to RANDOMLY catch pokemon, he prefers to ask them first if they WANT to be his partner rather than simply throwing a pokeball ( this aspect has prevented him from getting different type of pokemon all over Alola, however, that’s why he shares a STRONG BOND with his team as he has always been one to care about their feelings ( & ) opinions ).

During Ilima’s trial, Hau found an INJURED NOIBAT falling from the cave’s ceiling during one of his battles vs a yungoos. 

The NOIBAT was attacked by several of the same specie, considering the normal height of a noibat he was pretty small, almost a newborn having a hard start in life.

It had accidentally fallen in the middle of the battle ( & ) Hau had stopped the fight for a second just to get it out of way. It wasn’t planned ( & ) Hau didn’t have any other potions aside the revives so as an alternative solution he decided to take the Noibat through all the trial so afterwards, he could take him to the pokemon center.

He did ( & ) the Noibat didn’t complain, not that he had the energy to. Hau put the little guy on his backpack while battling the totem pokemon ( & ) after that he went straight to the pokemon center. Did he catch it ? Nop, he let it out as soon as he was healthy ( & ) ready to go. What he didn’t expect was the little guy following up instead of going back home. But I mean, following Hau through ALL MELEMELE until it was time for Akala. Even then the little pokemon hid on his backpack through the boat trip, Hau discovered such thing just after arriving to the city. 

The little guy was CAPTIVATED by his kindness, ( & ) the way he deeply cared about his pokemon ( + he also really liked how Hau played the UKULELE, Noibat felt SAFE when listening to his melody ). Becoming partners came to be something so natural for them !!

Never!  He’s a massive turbovirgin who’s never been kissed.  Never been on a date.  Never told somebody he liked them.  

However!

He has been, and is presently, in love.  

His best memory, which he will deny up down and sideways, even and especially to himself, is breaking back into his own stolen facility to learn the truth about Dartz’s identity.  

...

There was a moment, when the tension subsided for a fraction of a second, when both of them laughed.  And it was sincere.  It was genuine.  Something about the minuscule trough in the wave of adrenaline, coupled by his still-pounding heart and panting chest from sprinting the length of the corridor allowed him to show himself.  It was as if that wave - only a few droplets of it, mind you - had managed to crest over the fortress-high walls he built around himself.  

It didn’t last.  Those droplets turned to air again, of course.  But.  

But.

It was the first time.  And somehow, it wasn’t the last.

...But he didn’t know.  He didn’t know, then.  

The worst memory was when he knew.

ooc. SO i use to have a doc of all the ideas i had, but like i can’t find it anymore so im gonna have to start over, BUT i’ll spill the things i remember about it!

the admins are the boxdevs obvsly

most if not all the grunts are androids, with only a few members being human.

the human members are not aware of what bill’s plan really is but do believe what they’re doing is for the greater good.

androids self-destruct, erasing all coding that could tell anyone what they’re programed to do

bill technically has access to like, more than half of ppls pokemon so honestly they’re under his control already.

SO LIKE bill and the devs would have to arrange a ploy that makes it look like they had nothing to do with the storage system locking up and not allowing anyone access to their pokemon.

you know those led helmets d/aft pun/k wears?? bill and the devs wear those and it’s dope

and so far that’s all i remember, i don’t really have a motivation for bill to do this other than “bc i can” bc that’s his motivation for everything tbh, so this plot is still really in the works!

     Relocation.

     From the moment she could comprehend the nature of her father’s work, Serena always knew that it was a real possibility that, one day, they would be forced to move to another region. Grey eyes, wide with shock, but at the same time not all that surprised, fall on the forms of two individuals sitting with her mother at the table– a man and woman adorned in suits, who clutch onto a leather wallet she can only assume contains a badge of some sort. Their expressions are solemn, and Grace’s own is stuck in a look of slight annoyance stemming from deeper roots. In a way, the girl can understand it– they did divorce a few years back, so why must she still be caught up in his business? Why should her life be disrupted because of the danger his job places him in?

     She listens, slowly crouching down so that she might sit on the steps of an aged staircase and listen in without being seen. Indeed, they are moving– tomorrow, just after sunrise. For their safety– because of their connections to a man who has gotten himself involved in too many cases dealing with dangerous individuals. People who might attempt to go after family, be it for blackmail, to take them as hostage, or something else. Apparently, he has done nothing wrong, and it is not an order they can dispute. Their only option is to comply; their only option is to be relocated to the next region he will be assigned to– the same place the blonde trainer’s mother grew up in. Her old family home– a place Serena has never heard of, let alone seen– will become their residence.     It takes little more than a few seconds for the girl to feel her throat closing up– for tears to prick at the corners of her eyes.

     She does not know the language– she has never heard of this place before. Everything she knows– the meadows, the people, the places she would go to in times of stress are all things she has no choice but to abandon. She has half a mind to see if it can be delayed, yet before the thought forms in her mind, she hears talks of not requiring a visa– or, at least, not until his contract there ends. Shakily, Serena stands from her position, and the moment she does so, the woman donning that dreaded suit smiles, and calls her over– by name, as though she has known her for years.     There is no escaping it. Tomorrow, they leave for Kalos.

How well does Diantha know her Elite Four? Did she have any role in choosing them?

“I’ve had no hand in choosing them. Apart from Malva, they were all already in their positions when I became champion. That being said, Siebold is the person I know least about. He tends to keep to himself, sadly. I wish I could get to know him a little better.

Malva and I are… well, we have a weird sort of friendship. I do believe I know her fairly well, but then again, she never shows everything there is to herself.

Drasna is like a mother to me, especially since I have never known my own mother. I know her pretty well, to the point where I am able to accurately guess what sort of clothes she would like.

Duke Wikstrom is one of my best friends. The only reason I don’t usually use his first name is because I know it would make him uncomfortable, but he is my go-to when I need to share something, whether it be fun or not.”

I never wanted to punch Bede. I just felt bad for Hop since he felt so terrible, but I didn't want to punch Bede. That said, I appreciate when the rivals have character arcs. I like silver not because he was a jerk, but because he had an arc where he grew to be a better person. While the rivals in x/y, didn't really have enough time to have their own story arcs. (things existed but they weren't exactly polished as cleanly as they could have been. )

I feel so bad for the XY rivals / characters… I get the feeling that the story/character developments got sidelined in favor of the new graphics, which. Well. Make no mistake; Kalos is beautiful, and I’d say they did a pretty good job for 2013.

I wonder, if they’d had the chance, what the arcs for the Kalos squad would’ve been. I love that we had a whole group rather than one rival, and Gens 7-8 proved that Gamefreak can make a group of rivals work, but I think XY would’ve worked better with giving just one of the kids a character arc -- say, Shauna.

XY had this theme about “chosen ones,” “beautiful people,” people who deserve to have positions of power, to have luxury, to be alive... which. man. Galar has a capitalist dystopia but Lysandre literally wanted to kill the poor.

If I had the chance to rewrite XY (and for anyone who doesn’t know, my first canon muse is @friendshauna so yes, I’m very invested in XY), I’d have Team Flare blatantly question your friends’ worth. Shauna has no noticeable talents; Tierno’s invested in an art form with no merit; Trevor and the player characters may be clever when it comes to Pokemon, but when all the Pokemon are dead, what good are you three?

I’d give Shauna a quest to prove herself useful, worthy of becoming a Chosen One. Maybe she’ll find an interest in something Lysandre approves of, even. She’ll grow depressed, anxious at the idea that she has to be doing something, no longer enjoying her journey like she wanted to at the start.

But that wouldn’t be the end of her story. The end of the story comes when you and her enjoy some quiet time together -- as a parallel to the Parfum Palace scene. She remembers that she started the journey with no specific goals in mind, and she had been happy just enjoying life. Then she realizes and muses to you that no living being should have to “earn” the right to live. 

Productivity as a measure of worth is a hopeless concept. Lysandre’s dividing the world into “those who give” and “those who take” is a false premise. 

People and Pokemon deserve to live because they are alive.

So yeah, that’s a character arc I’m considering giving my Shauna retroactively.

[⚡] Koko’s compassion is, in a sense, slowly killing him.  Negative emotions are poor for a faerie’s health, especially those which are intense and last a long time.  Despite this knowledge, Koko forms relations with the humans of the region who seem to age before his eyes, and vanish in an instant.  One of these days, he will come across someone who will make him forget about this entirely, and he will feel, and they will leave, and it might just kill him.

I actually haven’t played the K.alos games, but I have some friends who have and I know the basic story. I love F.airy-Types in particular, and in general some really cool P.okemon were introduced this Gen (like the GHOST PLANTS). Apparently L.ysandre being evil was supposed to be a surprise, and it was blatantly obvious-? But like I said, I haven’t played the games. ;^^

That being said, I always felt iffy about M.ega Evolution. The P.okemon who received it were either already overpowered and/or overhyped, or just seemed arbitrary. M.ewtwo and C.harizard, for example, did not need two different evolutions. If all final evolved forms got one, or if they did more with it beyond one Gen, I might have felt more inclined to have it grow on me, but aside from very specific Mega forms (like A.ltaria), it felt like a D.igimon copy.
