Hi Herald editors, what’s the status of various communities and events in the Buffyverse fandom these days? Are SeasonalSpuffy, Summer of Giles, the Sunnydale Memorial Awards, etc. still around? And where is The Discourse taking place these days? ;) I’ve been away from fandom for a while. It’s a pleasant surprise to see the Herald still in operation. Thank you for all you do for the fandom! You’re all amazing!

Seasonal Spuffy is just concluding its latest round. Summer of Giles was still going as of last year, but hasn't started yet this year. IWRY Marathon is still a thing. Which Willow is small, but still around. Sunnydale Memorial Awards....I don't remember seeing anything from them for awhile, but I could be wrong. A new Fuffy community just opened on Tumblr (check Tuesday's Herald for links.) The Discourse is not as heated at present, as the canon comics have ended, and the reboot comics are in a different continuity. However, there is still excellent meta being produced on Tumble, Reddit, and assorted (unfortunately locked, so we can't link them easily) Facebook communities. There's still quite a bit of fic coming out of AO3, FF.Net, Elysian Fields, and Twisting the Hellmouth. Livejournal and DW are, alas, pretty dead except for the few remaining communities based there. ETA: And there's Buffyforums and Buffyboards for discussion, of course!
