Trying to be more efficient with our produce, so it doesn't go to waste. Divded up some of our tomatos we harvested along with some basil, and froze them to get used up in the winter sometime.

Also, we scored a whole bunch of celery thebother week for $2. No way could we eat it all before it went bad, so I pulled out the food processor, sliced it up, plus diced the leaves, and divided them into 1 cup batches and froze.

Today we got our first Wonky Box, which was a whole heap of veges that were turned away from supermarkets for not meeting their standards. Anyway, I was packing those into the fridge, and there was a bunch of rainbow carrots that wouldn't fit in the carrot container unless I chopped their stalks off.

Quick google how to use up carrot stalks, and they were chopped up in the food processor to be frozen and get used up in a stew some time this winter.

There's a frozend mix of potatoes and veges we can buy from the store called Mediterranean mix, and with what we have in our fridge I may be able to cook up a fresh version. I might also try freezing some, barring the potatoes... I think I've only ever had luck reheating potatoes from frozen unless it's mash or scalloped.

I used to spend the last winters weekends outside, dressed like a little polar bear, and do yoga under the sky! It was wonderful, I could smell the cold air, touch the frozend ground and still be at ease! Now that I work in a open office with 22 people life got harder. Immediately I was sick after the first glimpses of winter, everyone was coughing and so I was able to resist for the first week. I spent Christmas with fever, I felt like I was in a bubble of water, I couldn't hear a thing. And now I have to take drops of a medicine that doesn't seem to work, to prevent migraines. The worst thing is nobody listens to me when I say that living with migraines ain't easy, the say "it's just a headache". I go to a neurologist every 2 months, and I pay for him, I go every week to a psychologist, and I pay for her, I am constantly begging for help. No one seems to hear me. Why?
