Evergreen is as much of a trickster as Bickslow. She usually frames him for her actions

Bickslow’s babies are actually the souls of his family. That’s how he found out he could collect souls. He watched his family dying around him and was able to move their souls into dolls

Freed is their version of google. That man knows pretty much everything

I'm so in love with the idea of thunder god tribe being like lil triplets for Laxus, and Laxus is like "no I can't do reckless shit no more, I have my kids to worry about", people are like "you have kids???", Laxus: "yeah", and kids are just three grown-ups looking at Laxus with heart-shaped eyes, and then he's like "okay, I need to go take care of them"

Freed is the oldest one, repeating after him, following his steps, learning and growing, best student, his pride.

Bickslow is next, lil dumb (no, he's actually a secret genius), lil crazy, lil reckless, in short - middle child, circus on feet, but he's Laxus' joy.

And Evergreen as youngest one, pretty and pretty independent, fairy with attitude, she may seem giddy, but she's very smart and cunning; they say if you look at Evergreen for a long time, you can see Laxus.

And it's so-so cute, cuz this kittens are his family, part of his life, and I love it so much, cuz let's be honest with eachother, Laxus is a big softie, and he really need someone to protect, so even if he knows for sure that Freed, Ever and Bickslow are more than capable to protect themselves, that doesn't mean he's not worrying about them. He does. Sometimes a lot. 'They don't need someone to protect them, they're strong,' he says, and then Mirajane cas clearly see that he just can't sit on that chair calmly. She wants to say how cute he is like that, but she bites her inner cheek instead, to not to scare that...openness he's showing her. And it's absolutely obvious that he's showing it, on purpose, he allows himself to be like this, because Mira knows - Laxus can hide really well when he wants to. So she's just glad he trusts her enough to show his true feelings for the raijinshuu.

He'd be a good father, she thinks suddenly, and then blush appears on her face and she hurries to hide it, going to the basement for *choose the reason* while Laxus stares after her with an questioningly raised eyebrow, until his own blush shows on his cheeks. He probably looked stupid...

Even though Laxus doesn't usually care what other people think of him personally, for some reason he doesn't want to look stupid in front of her.

Sheesh.

P.s. inspired by this, look at them. Look at them. He lllooovvvvessssss herrrr (I'm not talking about romantic love here), HE LOVES HER, THAT'S WHY HE CAN BE LIKE THAT WITH HER, AND EVER KNOWS HIM WELL ENOUGH, LOOK. COME THE FUCK ON. THEY'RE FAMILY. I'M DEAD.

Ever but like that 'annoying' lil 'girly girl' sis who can poke you just because she can, and I think if she really was his lil sis, she would simply come up to him, coquettishly extend her hand, and he'd give her money without questions (but with a heavy sigh). And Bickslow'd be like 'wow, can I have some too???', and Laxus to him with straight face, blinking: 'No.' Freed, trying his luck, quietly: "...can I?". Laxus would asked how much and would give him the requested amount, and Bickslow would explode at how terribly unfair this is!!! And Laxus'd give him an hour and a half lecture about how Freed spends money on books and stuff for self development, and Bickslow, on the contrary, always buys all sorts of crap.

"Why then are you giving money to Ever, huh?!" He rightly grumbles, frowning comically, almost stomping his foot. "She buys all sorts of crap too!"

Laxus looks him straight in the eyes. Blinks twice. And, raising his mug of beer, explains:

"I just like her more than you."

Bickslow eventually explodes, making angry noises, and Mirajane, nearby watching this scene, cannot help but giggle at how Laxus skillfully hides his grin behind his mug.

I wasn't the Anon who wanted Freed to get the same level of adoration as Laxus but I wholeheartedly agree. Freed is when you create a secondary character so epic the world can't handle it LOL. It applies to the whole Thunder Legion but Freed in particular. The Fandom, the Fairy tail staff sideline them at every turn because they fear their power LOL. But seriously how many scenarios would Freed have been an asset if he wasn't injured or away for some reason. Bickslow as well. Let them shine.

Mashima has given them powers that are too powerful, and therefore just like Gildarts who is always on mission, they are sidelined. I understand that they are secondary characters, that they can't have the amount on screen that other characters have, but it would take very little to at least show that they are there.

For example, GMG. Have one of them fight. One. I don't care who, but throw Freed or Bickslow or Evergreen in. Literally what was Jellal for? He fought against Jura and did nothing else, he could pretend to be Mystgun without having to fight. They could make one of the Raijinshuu fight, make him/her lose because obviously he/she's against Jura, but give him a fight that would give them justice.

Eclipse Arc. Why not get one of the Thunder Legion to join Natsu, Wendy and Mirajane when they went to find Lucy? One, just to show they were there.

Tartaros Arc. Ok this bothers me a lot, but why didn't they show the Thunder Legion fight against Tempesta? Why did they give Laxus two moments? In my opinion it made more sense: Thunder Legion fights Tempesta, cool battle, they win, but Tempesta still releases the particles and everyone ends up injured, including Laxus who comes when Tempesta is already defeated. The Thunder Legion would still get sick, and Laxus would still have his moment of glory later against Tempesta, so why, why not give the Thunder Legion a worthy fight? It would have changed zero at the plot level. This is probably the thing that pisses me off the most.

Alvarez Arc. Ok, I can accept how it was handled because at least we saw them at the beginning and I don't think I can take more from secondary characters.

Anyway, luckily fanfictions exist.

So I wrote a poly!Thunder Legion fanfic because I think about it almost daily and I haven't seen any content

Hey hope ur well! I was wondering if u had any hcs about Freed being ticklish?

Ticklish Freed is now one of my new fav headcanons...

It is his deepest, darkest secret. That man planned to take it to his grave

He was so good at hiding it. Like even if someone did try to tickle him, he would be able to keep a straight face for long enough for them to give up

That was until Bickslow refused to stop. Freed broke and giggled, which turned Bix into a monster

Freed tried bribing Bickslow into silence but very slowly everyone found out (Bix blames his babies for snitching but Freed beat the shit outta him anyway)

Tickling Freed is a very dangerous activity. Any attempts usually end in being locked in some type of rune (usually trapped in a box)

But there are some members who are willing to take the risk

Mirajane is too scary for Freed to attack so he mostly just runs from her. There's been several instances of Freed sprinting out of the guild terrified and a giggling Mira running after him

Drunk Cana is all over him. Freed's tried using his magic on her, but drunk Cana is a different breed and somehow gets passed all the magic he uses on her

Wendy tries to tickle him and Freed usually lets her and will give a giggle pretty early on to make her happy

Laxus openly says it's stupid that everyone is obsessed with tickling Freed so Freed make the foolish mistake of thinking Laxus would not tickle him

It's very rare that Laxus will but it's always at the most random times. Like talking to a client, Laxus will give him a couple pokes. Or during training. Freed lets him do it

You'd think Bix is the worst with it, but it's Evergreen. She's always sneaking up behind him and catching him off guard. She's one of the few people that can surprise him and because of it Freed rarely has the time to defend himself. Evergreen sneak attacks him and leaves before the man can react

Also Lisanna is an absolute demon. Freed is too scared to even stand next to her now

Nox didn't know what to expect when the other four came home from school weirder than they normally were. Normally they'd be loud and off the wall, with Freed and/or Laxus trying to handle them.

But today they were silent. And it made Nox feel weird.

"What is up with you guys?" Nox asked, as they entered their secret grotto.

"What do you mean?" Bickslow badly fibbed.

"You guys have been weirdly silent since coming back from school."

Bickslow, Laxus, and Freed all went pink so Nox turned to Evergreen.

"Ever?"

"We learned how sex worked today in science class."

"Oh, that's it?"

Bickslow gaped at her, "Did you already know?"

"Yeah. Makarov taught me human anatomy at one point."

"What does human anatomy have to do with sex education?"

It was Nox's turn to turn pink as she fidgeted with her mask slightly.

"I'll.... go to into more detail when you guys are older but I don't reproduce the same way you guys do."

"How does that even work???"

"I'll tell you when you're older."
