you have no fuckint idea how genuinely fucking upset and frustrated i was when i first found out i kept ranting about it for like. at least 3 hours?

but now i kind of agree ON THE LITERAL ASSUMPTION that yeucc isnt implying that they would be happier together- THAT is what i was upset about. i agree that theyre not happy apart. which is technically true. wallters life is literally so much worse because he let go of the one person who knows him best and is doomed to succumb to his own hubris. but theres nothing that can be done now, not in this life. the more time that passes the farther and farther away they are from possibly regaining a happy relation, which was already impossible in the first place.

unless yeucc DID mean that wallter and mark are happier together. in which that would be just the worst fucking inconsistent character writing they have ever fucking pulled so lets hope that thats not true!

Small Ramble about Wallter cause I’m having fucking brain parasites

Wallter is one of those perplexing characters to me. He’s utterly negligent about his own health and mental health that it’s bewildering. And borderline self destructive not even borderline it IS. He’s literally dying and he’s just like “ah no big deal anyways want gray stuff” and SO MANY CHARACTERS POINT IT OUT TO HER TOO.

What I want to know more about however is the general direction her character is going in. We know he’s kaput, and we know there’s something strange afoot with him and Folly as well. I’m also very curious if she’s had any sort of interaction or even encounters with Mr or Mrs cult.

I’m also itching to know more about his connection to Yeuccs other games like Happy Country and Noraki. As we know there’s an established connection.

I just wanna dissect him.. please Yeucc.. Catjam.. anyone..

Okay, to be completely honest, yeucc sort of rubs me the wrong way

Idk, there are a lot of things tho

Maybe it's the fact that they let their mods and devs get away with literally anything, including bullying their fans and slandering minors over the stupidest shit and they get Zero repercussions. (Both Gregoriah's VA and soda_stuff are KNOWN for being controversial as hell for different reasons, but yeucc still keeps them on the team for god knows why)

Maybe it's how weird the age change for Gnarpy is, since xe went from being a canonical minor to 'up for interpretation' which just feels so fucking weird to me, plus the fact that Gnarpy looks So Much Younger now with the new proportions and model, but that last bit may just be me simply nitpicking (dont even use the 'xey're an alien!!' excuse, you sound like people who say 'they look like a toddler but theyre actually 1000 years old)

Maybe it's the fact that yeucc is trying to make people credit them for the concept of a fucking elevator game when all they did was add the NPC shit, and even then the normal elevator did it first with The Big Cheese

Maybe it's the fact that yeucc blames their fanbase for weird decisions when I've heard literally NOBODY talking about that shit (looking at you, changing the R6 models. If they were to listen to the majority of the fanbase instead of like the handful of people who think R6 models are bad, then they wouldn't be doing this)

Maybe it's the fact that bro was So Fucking Proud of themselves for tricking their entire fanbase into becoming attached to Melanie, just to kill her off before she even got into the game. No, that's not writing a narrative, it's just being weird to ur fans and I guess attempting to make some weird fucked up ARG??? even tho it wasn't at all handled correctly. (There are SOOO many better ways they could have gone about it, but nope. And again they were so smug and cocky about it, like dude???)

Maybe it's the fact that yeucc in general is just sort of. Incompetent.

If the Dandy's World fandom can look at Rox and want them to take accountability, Regretevator fans should too even if yeucc's crimes against humanity arent 'as bad'. 

Maybe they aren't, but god does it suck looking at what the hell is happening and seeing fans being completely put off of the game because of the creator and their team of assholes. Not even mentioning the fact that it feels like some other shit could be brewing under the surface that could be spilling out thru all this other stuff. Idk tho.

I'm not saying everyone they surround themself with are dicks, but a good couple definitely spoils the bunch.

the anthropomorphization of unpleasant from this fandom has genuinely WRECKED its character and made it. not that unique compared to the other npcs. like i dont know it being this like fucking gooner-type character is so awful? and i really hate it? if anything that trope given to unpleasant should have stayed with scag and ended with her, since she’s a genuine npc with more writing and thoughts attached

i saw people bring up this point again and im glad but HELLO!!!!! LETS STOP JUST ASSOCIATING LAMPERT AS WALLTER AND MARK'S SON? EVEN WHEN IT HAS BEEN DISCREDITED /MULTIPLE/ TIMES? like DAMN this fandom only attributes characteristics if it is attached to literally anyone else besides that person. its horrible. people NEED to learn to find the balance between having fun with that headcanon while also acknowledging lampert as his own separate person that is (to be quite frank) not even associated with them that much in canon

(+ people saying that the headcanon of lampert being wallmark's son is canon and fucking REPLYING saying to people who ship wallter & lampert or mark & lampert that they shouldn't. you are fucking embarrassing)

the regretevator fandom is EXACTLY like the phighting fandom with how shipping is handled. i mean this in not a positive way

people gotta stop relying on the wiki for information man. so much lore from yeucc's tumblr has been retconned and at this point, when there's now WRITERS for the game that are actually keeping tabs, all if not the good majority of what is said on the wiki should be taken with a grain of salt. nowadays the lore is unpredictable, and only a select few (by few i mean like. 4 out of the 17 npcs) has had their lore expanded on significantly

general facts i think is fine so long as theres an annotation backing it but my point still stands . moreso with lore generally

also saw this point being brought up in the qrts but the demonization and infantilization of certain characterss (cough spud pilby pest and poob) is like. wild. i dunno i can't say much since i'm very fortunate enough to not have seen that much but my god is it prevalent from what people are saying

with pest especially since he has npd and aspd i do think that. people generally associating him as evil has NOT been the greatest thing, especially since it reduces him to a stigma of people with personality disorders which is horrific and terrifying. idk what goes on in the background but i feel like the fandom + yeucc & the people working on regretevator should have done more research on the disorders and consulted people who do have these issues better instead of using those labels haphazardly

another thing i will and always will be vocal (dog on) about the axosun team is them keeping gnarpy. like there was no reason to keep xem in other than for revenue gain let's be honest and True to ourselves. the philosophy "ohh but you can separate the art from the artist!!!!" i feel does not really apply to this scenario cause xe got a whole ass revamp despite the obvious fact that it STILL is gnarpy, a character created by a bad person regardless of the ownership change and discredited history. its the underlying thought that they were essentially built off a bad origin if this makes any sense. idk i think it wouldve been better for everyone if xe were just removed ENTIRELY from the game but. you do you i guess
