then on 19 february i dreamt about my partner & i watching the premiere of mandalorian season 3. it unfortunately turned out the worst writer possible had taken over and made it a random romcom action movie, like it was fucking austin powers & michael bay explosions 24/7

the episode's premise is some base that needs to go. mando and cara dune (recast by an actress who looks like a drag queen), go into the base, do their thing and it goes boom boom explode blown to smithereens PEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WOOOOSSSHHHHHH michael bay style etc.

after escaping on. uhm. the hover vehicles. and having a shootout with the remaining forces and they're dead, drag queen cara goes "omg I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MANDO" and then they have an extremely dramatic sparkle effect kiss on screen

my SO and i just stared at this, especially once we rewatch it on some youtube reaction video posted by price fisher, to ensure it was actually real and not some fucking horrible fanfiction

had a dream/sequence of dreams? that basically just. literally felt like ads, like real world brand ads, which then turned to a pov of me scrolling a tiktok-esque video thing where each video was an ad and i kept skipping bc, i dont wanna watch those, and then it ended with my brain literally "none of these dreams are worth having so we may as well wake up" and then i woke up
