Hey Colin,

Thanks for introducing me to one of my new favorite blogs, f*ckyeahpilesofdirt ! So interesting. I think a lot of those are actually piles of clay though, not actually the type of soil most people would call “dirt”. Somebody should write to the folks running that blog to let them know! Hello Anonymous asker! Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I’ve been ruminating on this for a few hours now. If what you are saying is, in fact, the truth (you can never be too sure with the amount of misinformation and “bad faith actors” on the web today) then this is quite the conundrum. On one hand, clay is actually a subset of soil (dirt), and would make sense to be featured on the blog, as it is also in a pile, and a valued member of the dirt family. On the other hand, the blog is named “fuckyeahpilesofdirt” and not “fuckyeahpilesofdirtandothersubsetsofdirt”. With our current political climate I think we should make it a priority to communicate clearly and honestly, and I’m not sure “fuckyeahpilesofdirt” seems committed to that. However, this is all just speculation. I will admit I haven’t been able to focus my full attention on this clay/soil/dirt pickle that we’re in, as I’ve been dealing with Havana syndrome for the past 8 months. I will give this issue some further thought and take the appropriate action. Again, thank you for notifying me about this issue.
