spencer starts trying to tone down his rambling in the workplace in efforts to look more professional

but he can't just not go down a rabbithole when he starts thinking

so he starts sending you voicemails whenever he feels the urge to start chattering

literally 3-5 minutes of a windy did you know ramble

then it's see you tonight :) and he hangs up

“hey, angel.” 

his voice rings out through your phone's speaker. you can almost see him as he speaks–his hand shielding the mic to eliminate any external noise while he frantically explains whatever's on his mind today.

you set your phone up nearby, turning the volume up enough so you can hear it while you go about your menial tasks of brushing your teeth and making the bed.

you opt for his voice instead of your playlist during your commute to work—softer now, a quiet murmur through your headphones. you can hear the hum of the jet, the muffled conversation from his team, followed by a sharp reid that brings his ramblings to a screeching halt, promising to continue in the next one. (he does, picking up exactly where he left off.)

the messages accumulate throughout the day, filling your inbox. you should be more worried about the capacity and the possibility that you might miss messages from other people, but he's the only one who ever leaves you any. who even uses voicemail anymore?

they become your personal podcast, taking up far too much storage on your phone. you’ve saved every single one. they help when he's away and you miss him. you replay them more than you’d like to admit–you’ve nearly got them all memorised.

Once steve becomes bigger on tiktok (via corroded coffin and Eddie), he becomes more easily recognized in public, but only in the metal scene. The parents of his students still know him as Mr. Harrington, the brightly colored and happy-go-lucky kindergarten teacher that their kids love.

But fans of corroded coffin either love or hate Steve. Steve (obviously) doesn’t care because he knows that him and Eddie are in love and that’s all that matters to him. Plus, he’s not on social media so it doesn’t affect him personally.

At one of Eddie’s shows, during a quiet moment, Steve’s dexcom beeps and interrupts the moment of silence that the band was trying to create. The cc boys don’t think anything of it, but the person standing next to Steve in the crowd shoots him a dirty look.

Thinking nothing of it, Steve, in his baby blue sweater, takes out his omnipod and checks his levels in order to see how he can problem solve. His blood sugar was higher than usual thanks to the large Dr. Pepper he had earlier, so all he had to do was a correction. Nothing crazy.

But the man next to him thought this was atrocious. He nudges Steve and says, “Turn off your fucking phone, it’s disrespectful.”

Steve looks at him and furrows his brows and just shakes his head.

This leads to the guy punching Steve square in the face, which sets off a chain reaction of a mosh pit occurring with Steve desperately trying to move to the sidelines.

The band stops and Eddie jumps off the stage, pushing his way through the crowd to get to Steve, while many of the others begin to rag on the man that instigated everything.

Eddie grabs Steve by the arm and throws him over his shoulder— a moment of strength that will have him complaining about in the morning— and makes his way back to the stage to deposit Steve there.

“Are you okay, baby? You took a hard hit, there.” Eddie is lightly touching Steve’s face and checking for any signs of swelling or lacerations.

Steve just laughs and points over Eddie’s shoulder, saying, “You should see the other guy.”

Eddie turns and the guy is barely standing; one guy is holding him up while a huge woman is repeatedly kicking him.

The next day, the whole event blows up on every social media platform with people defending Steve left and right. The hashtag #WeStandWithSteve is trending on twitter and the video of the whole incident is plastered everywhere.

The “normies” may not recognize Steve, but the metal community and Corroded Coffin’s fan base sure do. And they’ve proved that he is worth defending.

I think people don’t realize that Jimmy is an abuser who escalates. The things he does go up in severity as he loses what little actual control he perceives he had on/over something.

It’s never explosive, until it is, and that why it’s so dangerous because he’s not gonna pop until ur in the blast zone and don’t realize it.

Yall wan a fun fact?

It’s generally known that battery’s will degrade due to freezing cold weather, hell some Li-ion battery’s with seize to charge all together if they get cold enough. And well I've heard about batteries litterly freezing, thought i am nota 100% sure- gotta fact check that

Generally battery's should be kept in the safe zone of 60°C to -20°C

So that made me think... Even if worker drones literally don’t/can't feel the cold- they can definitely feel the absolute damage it causes on there components.

This also made me think of the general life expectancy of a worker drone. If well maintained and with battery replacements, I imagine a worker drone being able to operate for many a years. That's of course if they; one, have access to maintenance, two, don't get killed and three generally take care of themselves.

Just me thinking hehehe
