how mbti types procrastinate

entp, enfp, intp, infp: considers possibilities of what to do instead of said task. starts typing but gets distracted when trying to choose a song to listen to. probably scrolls through tiktok. thinks that said task is too overwhelming. can't schedule an appointment on the phone by themself.

intj, infj, enfj, entj : plans out everything, but doesn't actually do it. wayyy too perfectionistic. has a bunch of pinterest boards (or playlists) related to said thing. not inspired. not enough pressure. "scheduled procrastination."

estp, esfp, istp, isfp: thinks the task is stupid and boring, and there are more fun/interesting things to do. also thinks that they have enough time to get it done but actually only has 2 hours. doesn't narrow down priorities. probably forget it existed in the first place

isfj, istj, estj, esfj: associates task with bad past experiences and avoids it. thinks it's not important + a waste of time compared to other things. keeps getting stuck on minor criticisms or flaws. doesn't put said thing on their to-do list (not in sight, not in mind!)

So, I’m not sure how many are aware of what MBTI is, but I got a few requests on making an analysis about this for BSD MEN and incorporating their ideal type! darlings’ MBTI types as well, so I did. (I kind of promised that I would do it, so now is the time.)❤️

I want you to know, it wasn’t intentional to place one type as the ideal match for multiple characters. I thought it through thoroughly and did my best to remain as logical and diverse in MBTI types as possible. It’s just that strong Fe users are often a good match for broken people and…well…BSD men are mostly broken.

There are 8 cognitive functions, and we all use all of them, however, 4 are always the most comfortable and prominent.

Despite being an introvert you engage well in conversations in public making you look like as if you are an extrovert. You are good at making your voice and ideas heard and understood. Sukuna loves you but hates you at the same time. Despite him seeing humans as inferiors, he can't help the attraction he has for your badass side. As the king of curses, he sees human emotions as a weakness and burden so seeing a human who actually relies on their mind and neglect feelings intrigued him. Having a mocking and quirky kind of humor is kinda relatable for him. But at the same time he hates your resistance. INTPs worship independence and freedom, they completely oppose submission to someone else and don't accept forced rules. Let's not forget that Sukuna is an extrovert so extroverts that want to forcefully dominate introverts for perceiving them as shy individuals who are unable to defend themselves is a type that INTPs can't stand and that's how the tension / hate between you too was born.

ESFP:

Aoi Todo = Boyfriend

ESFP is a lively and affectionate partner you, totally match Todo energy. Your presence keeps him recharged, your energy and enthusiasm are infectious. Despite him being strong both physically and mentally he still needs your affection to function properly. INTP infuses excitement and passion in the relationship. Given that both of you and Todo are extroverts you thrive on social interactions and enjoy spending time together doing fun and spontaneous activities. You also have similar love languages. As someone who has dealt with a lot, lacking the families' warmth in his life, he always find himself indirectly dependent on you for some comfort. ESFP excels at expressing empathy through both words and actions Despite Noritoshi skills at hiding his emotions, you as a sensor you can sense his troubled spirit and provide for him a safe space by acknowledging and understanding his feelings without judgment and serve as a listener when he's ready to open up. Aside from comfort you also radiate a contagious positive energy that can break through the toughest walls. It makes ESFPs happy knowing that they had a positive impact on people around them.

I firmly believe that things like enneagram, MBTI,astrology etc. are tools that are meant for self development, they are something that can induce greater empathy, more tolerance in you, give you a broader perspective. These tools are not meant for enforcing stereotypes like portraying certain types as immoral psychopaths, hard hearted robots and then certain types as angels or Messiah; People aren't really two dimensional like that. Just because you struggle with rational thinking or social skills as an effect of belonging to a certain type doesn't mean you have to stay that way till you die. Putting people in a box won't get us anywhere, it limits our potential, makes us close minded. Instead, these tools are are supposed to make you open minded by showing you that there is no only one true, right way of looking at or doing things, that each type plays an integral & equally important role in our society, its supposed to tell you your weakness & strengths so your can better yourself and become a more well rounded person

I think it is time for me to elaborate on my GETO IS AN INFJ theory.

Starting of with what is INFJ?

For people who somehow don't know, INFJ is a personality type according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). All of the personality types consist of four letters that mean in sequence: introversion(I)/extraversion(E), sensing(S)/intuition(N), thinking(T)/feeling(F), judging(J)/perceiving(P).

INFJ is a short for Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging.

People who are INFJ are described as quiet, with strong morals and believes that they are able to fight for. They are guided by principles, and human value is one of the priorities (which, in Geto's case, can be interpreted in two ways - non-sorceres, before he turned evil, and his friends that he wanted to protect, after committing mass murder).

INFJs balance on the border between the humanistic and the strict mind, they have an artistic soul and an analytical mind and they tend to demand a lot from themselves. They may show signs of excessive perfectionism and put more into a task than others expect of them.

Don't tell me it doesn't sound like Geto.

And I'm NOT taking that "he became an INTJ after committing genocide" bullshit. INTJ is more logical, analyzing than INFJ who is, after all, a FEELER so they focus more on their feelings than logical thoughts.

Taking the easiest way and deciding to kill all the non-sorcerers is not logical and Geto knows it (we can see it during his conversation with Shoko when she tells him that he's being childish. He knows no one will understand him and he doesn't expect them to). He's aware that he's doing wrong but he does what his FEELINGS tell him to do.

And now, the most convincing part: satosugu.

Satoru is a 100% ENTP. He walks like an ENTP, he talks like an ENTP, he IS an ENTP.

Even if we look at the memes the "INFJ x ENTP" suit the most for satosugu dynamics. LOOK IT UP.

Charles Xavier: INFJ

Introverted Intuition (Ni): Charles is a mutant who has the power of telepathy (and to some extent telekinesis), but can also recognize what is going on in the minds of others very easily without having to read their minds. Thus many times when he is asked, “so did you read my mind,” he responds, “I didn’t have to.” Charles is extremely focused towards a long term goal (to make the society accept the mutants) and all of his actions are directed towards achieving it. Towards this goal, he has a very visionary, idealistic approach. His being the most powerful brain on the planet also gives him the a fair idea of ‘what comes next’ as that kind of thought requires a calm and detailed analysis (Ni) than a quick and some-what impractical response (Ne). This gives him a bit of a mystic charm. Like Magneto, he has a very specific approach to problem solving, a fact which is often the root stressor of their disagreements.

Extraverted Feeling (Fe): When he is younger, Charles has a very strong desire to fit in with society. As Charles is portrayed, his Fe function is probably his most developed (most likely because he knows what everyone’s true thoughts and feelings are (you know cause he is telepathic). Charles is constantly thinking about how other people, humans and mutants alike, would be affected by the actions his X-men take. He often tries to convince Magneto that his actions will only make people feel more passive about the mutants. When asked ”How can you be so sure about how they (army) will react?” he answered,” Because I know how they feel.” Charles sympathizes with other mutants and tries to connect with them emotionally without using his psychic powers, so obviously he uses his Fe. He loves to provide emotional support to others and becomes deeply depressed when he feels that he cannot help others to work through their struggles.

Introverted Thinking (Ti): Charles is very intelligent and thinks deeply about the issues that the mutants face. He thinks about problems from many different angles, and likes to use his knowledge to show off to the ladies. At the same time, he is far more driven by emotional idealism than by any logical course of action. When arguing with Magneto, the issues they disagree on usually have to do with their moral approach to fighting for the mutants. Unlike Magneto, Charles does not have a specific step-by-step plan that he intends to follow in order to help the mutants. Instead, he tends to think in terms of theoretical problem-solving, rather than practical.
