Anyone want to help me make El really popular by drawing him super hot and coming up with a bunch of ships for him? I think that's how fandom works. I don't know how else to make a character popular. 🕊️ anon, you made a really good point based on their personalities, but I think the character positions 3 and 4 are also more role based, just in a less obvious way,

For me, 3 is their foundation. In a sense, they are the character who is basically the heart of the group. It might not start that way immediately, but they are the ones who hunker down and try to keep it all together for as much as they can. Usually it fits with the character with the most passion, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

Take Ena, for example, in the main story, she’s consistently trying to bring people back. In the main story, it’s easy to focus in on just Kanade and Mafuyu, but Ena also played a big role. Ena is supportive, but usually in a less high key way. And

Position 4 is also mostly outcasts, but they are I feel, the people who are probably least attached to the group, or at least most likely to leave. Though this lens, it gives us some perspective on what it means for each character.

We see this with Rui when he nearly got poached by Asahi but decided to stay. At one point for Niigo, it was Mafuyu, but between Kanade and the fact that the Empty Sekai was Mafuyu’s sekai to begin with. But Mizuki always had that secret that was hanging over her head. And the Mizuki5 happened.

Shiho is passionate yes, but we also see that she needs to grow to trust the rest of Leo/need (all the “faith” events), for example. Iori tries to recruit her and she has to grapple with the decision. Because she didn’t trust her friends enough to stay by her side.

In fact, I think the fact that their personalities are so different is what makes it so intriguing. Honami started out as a people pleaser but despite that she became their manager; their rock. Meanwhile it was Shiho’s dream to go pro, and Leo/need went with her. But she was constantly at risk of falling back into old habits, taking it upon herself the burden, and leaving them behind.

Shiho could be like Akito or Nene, because they’re all dreamers at the end. But she’s not, because at the very least, Akito would not leave Toya behind, and Nene wouldn’t abandon Rui. But Shiho? Shiho could have left Leo/need behind.

She did it before. And she almost did it again.

Anyways, that just my personal take on why the positions are Like That.

More adventures with mini fuse beads- brand comparison! On the left we have Specter in Hama beads, which are smaller in diameter and shorter than the Artkal Resh'an on the right. I'll need to adjust my iron for the Artkal beads, I think- I didn't mean to flat melt Resh'an like that. I don't hate the way it looks, but it's not actually what I was going for.

I honestly think I like working with the Hama beads more- I like tht they're smaller, honesty. But Artkal offers so many more colors. It'll just be a bit of trial and error until I figure out how to iron them properly

#SO [slaps desk] the idea popped into my head offfffff what would happen if I fused mason and wolfy- here we go!#definitely a Very unstable fusion and I went for vibes more than appearance (I mean honestly what would be the midpoint between those two.)#I think they’d have to grab n hold folks to be able to have a conversation with them (haha get it. carried away by impulse)#and if they ever did manage to land they’d de-fuse very quick #....hhhh the more I drew the more it didn’t feel right so I will change it later but I really like the idea of a fast dragonlike creature!#thinking.... [Just as Kromer is getting used to having to wear a maid dress she suddenly feels... displaced. It's almost like within a blink her vision has changed. The bright colors she's enjoyed suddenly drain from her vision. Yellows and oranges appear muted, reds are muddled... Yet blues seem vibrant.]

[This is so similar to when Kromer had changed into a prosthetic body. Yet it also is quite different. With a cold stake of fear striking Kromer, the woman lifts her hands to make sure they weren't robotic. And yet... Her nails are black? Kromer doesn't paint her nails. Kromer still has fleshy hands (beautifully human hands) which the woman is grateful for. Yet, Kromer can't help but feel something is off.]

[Kromer tries to take a step to stabilize herself against the wall, but the Eleventh Sinner immediately loses balance. It feels as if she is walking on stilts. Kromer hits the floor quite roughly in an undignified manner, the woman just hopes Sinclair didn't hear it...]

[Kromer takes a moment to collect herself before trying to take stock of what changed about her. Kromer can tell there is a weight on her head, as if a crown has been balanced. Her hair feels... frizzy. Actually, that odd frizzy feeling travels down her back and under her dress. Kromer doesn't think she is liking the implications of this.]

[Kromer belatedly realizes one new thing. She can't feel her toes. That is what drives the woman back into a frenzy. Kromer shuffles her skirt out of the way only to be met with two ovine legs. Her legs appear to have wool on them, almost as if Kromer is wearing pants under the maid dress. At the end of each leg are two hooves Kromer is meant to balance on. How is Kromer meant to balance on that?? Kromer feels what she can only assume is hysteria start to leak into her fear. Her form keeps being changed so easily. Her humanity keeps being stolen from her so easily. Kromer can't even do anything to fight it.]

Huhuhu...

[Kromer can't stop herself from giggling. This is such a ridiculous situation. The woman rubs at her eyes to try to rid herself of the budding tears. Kromer needs to hold herself together, eventually Sinclair will fetch her and Kromer cannot be upset when he does.]
