Can it work? Sure! WinTeam (UWMA) had a total of 30 minutes screen time together in a 17 episode show. Roughly .4% of the show and arguably a perfect amount. Vegas and Pete worked well, and they were maybe a full hour if you include the torture/hostage situation — WHICH progressed the plot. Hell, UeaKing in Middleman’s Love was the perfect amount of established background relationship for a show not about them. Notice how I did not say anything about that other pair

Can it also be horrid… looking at you Prince… especially, when the side relationships don’t exist in the source material! Still looking at you Prince…

So, am I glad we are getting a little bit of JeffAlan? Sure, they’re cute — good chemistry.

Do we need five other pairs? No….no….in fact I think that would be a super bad decision with, what, 3 episodes left.

god it is always going to drive me nuts that the moriarty the patriot anime skipped so much stuff and then gave it an ending in which moran isn't missing, MI6 was literally just formed with louis as its leader (plus moneypenny never existed and neither does moran's whole backstory), and sherlock and william somehow didn't stay together after the fall and sherlock had to go to freaking switzerland to find him, so it's like how would they ever continue to adapt the story of the manga even if they wanted to 😭

i watched the anime first, and knew about a number of things that were missing because i'd seen screenshots of them online in the past: mainly the conversation between sherlock and bonde in chapter 19 where he talked about his struggle to make the criminal justice system more equal, and literally all of chapter 31. but there is so so much else i didn't know about, so many entire chapters and important details and huge sections of other chapters!!! i ended up loving the anime but still feeling as though pretty much none of the major characters and relationships got as much development as they needed and that it was overall a bit rushed... and then i read the manga and felt so much better about how fleshed out literally everything was in comparison to the anime.

like. my dad is an anime fan and a sherlock holmes fan so i recommended the series to him, and have been explaining manga details to him that i felt were especially important. but i honestly just might ask him to read the manga if he likes the anime enough, even though he's not normally a manga reader. because during the whitechapel arc, when sherlock refuses to investigate the jack the ripper case and never elaborates on why... he thought sherlock was being an asshole who didn't care about the victims! sherlock holmes, who's supposed to care just as much about equality and justice for the oppressed as william does! but it's understandable because that's how the anime makes it look by cutting out his explanation and statement that he is in fact going to investigate! and i'm worried he's going to think sherlock saving william is rushed as well unless i make him read chapter 31 before he finishes. gahhhh why did this anime not just get an additional season instead of speedrunning to the final problem as fast as they could??

forever hate everyone insisting emma is henry’s “real” mother just because she gave birth to him. i think the subject of adoptive vs. biological relatives is often mishandled in the series, maybe because they never explore the topic deeply enough. i won’t go into more detail rn but for me it’s a real weak point of the show overall. i distinctly remember always hoping there would be an opportunity where regina could save henry with true love’s kiss and they never gave it to her. maybe i just missed it, or as i rewatch i’ll notice a moment like that for them. but season 1 definitely still misses the mark for me in this regard

it drives me nuts that snow puts charming’s mom’s ring on her right hand to try it on. why not her left hand? it just seems like such an oversight. americans (and characters within the OUAT universes) generally wear engagement and wedding bands on their left hands, and they’re clearly trying to hint that snow is the one he should really be marrying, so why does she put it on her right hand gahhhh

do we ever find out who the nurse watching over belle is supposed to be?

so many names make a lot of sense (rumple/gold, cinderella/ashley, red/ruby, white/blanchard, astrid/nova) yet so many also seem super random (august booth, leroy, david nolan), and some don’t change at all. then there are also names that seem like they were intended to be something that never came to pass, or maybe just purposeful misdirects? like dr. whale and even emma swan. i always wondered if emma was supposed to have some kind of ugly duckling tie-in somehow but it never happened. i don’t really have a point here, just reflecting i guess 😂

1 - What's your favourite TV or film adaptation of a book? Do you prefer the book or the adaptation overall? One of them is The Hunger Games films. I thought they did pretty well. The books are better of course, but still I enjoyed the films.

2 - When was the last time you had a headache? Did you take any painkillers or did you wait for it to disappear on it's own? A couple days ago. I can’t take anything for them, so I have to just ride ‘em out.

3 - Have you ever tried any of those meal replacement shakes? Are you a fan of things like that in general? Yeah, I tried for awhile. It was hard finding a good one, but eventually I found one I liked. Even still, I couldn’t get in a good habit with drinking them regularly. I’d do good for awhile and then fall off track.

4 - Are you the kind of person to enjoy taking naps? I always feel groggy and meh after a nap, but sometimes I can’t fight it and give in.

5 - Are any of your electronics on charge right now? Do you have to charge those things daily? My laptop and my Beats earphones. And yep. My laptop stays connected for the most part anyway.

6 - When was the last time you ordered takeaway? What did you order and did it taste good? This past Friday I had Wingstop delivered and it was delicious as always.

7 - What's your typical order from Starbucks or the coffee shop of your choice? Ever since this past November my drink has been a venti peppermint white chocolate mocha with soy. I’ve been obsessed, it’s just so good.

8 - What kind of milk do you typically drink? I don’t drink milk by itself, but anytime I use milk I use soy or almond milk because I’m lactose intolerant. 

9 - What body parts do you shave and how often? Do you do this for yourself, someone else or because of peer pressure? Areas I feel need to be shaved. I do it for myself. 

10 - Do you play any games on your cell phone? Which ones do you enjoy playing the most? Sometimes. I like murder mystery/hidden object and puzzle games, as well as word games.

11 - Do you know how to tie a tie? if so, who taught you and why? Nope.

12 - Where do you get the majority of your new from? Online news sites and the news app on my phone.

13 - If you enjoy scented candles/incense/wax melts, which scents do you like the best? I like autumnal and Christmas-y scents from Bath and Body Works.

14 - Is there a particular meal you love but only ever have on special occasions? What is it and why don't you have it more often? Well, like turkey, oven baked ham, and stuffing I only have for the holidays.

15 - Do you receive a lot of spam phone calls? Do you ignore them, answer them or block them? Ugh, yes. I never answer them.

16 - Do you have an item of clothing you love so much that you own it in multiple colours? No, but I have many pairs of leggings in the same color. 

17 - What's your favourite kind of fruit juice? None.

18 - Where you live, are there still industries that are shut down because of COVID? Is your job impacted at all? Yeah, but restrictions are starting to be lifted again I think for like in-door dining and hair salons.

19 - Would you ever want to own an exotic animal as a pet? Which particular animal would you like? No.

20 - How often do you wash your hair? Every 2-3 days.

21 - Have you heard of the "no 'poo" method of hair washing? Have ou ever tried it? If not, would you want to give it a go? Is that no shampoo? What do you use then, just conditioner? I’m not sure exactly what that method entails and I don’t feel like looking into it. I’ll just stick to my shampoo method. 

22 - In your opinion, what's the most irritating habit someone can have? Are you close to anyone who has this particular habit? Eating sounds drive me nuts. I can’t stand when people chew loudly and make smacking, sucking, and slurping noises. Gahhhh. I’m like you hear yourself??

23 - What's your favourite kind of cheese to have on a pizza? Feta and ricotta.

24 - What's a hobby you loved when you were younger but no longer enjoy for whatever reason? Hmm. I used to like writing short stories. I sometimes get the urge to want to write again, but then it disappears. I just don’t have the inspiration, motivation, or energy to even attempt to start something. 

25 - Do you remember life without the internet? Do you prefer things the way they are or do you wish the internet didn't exist? Crazy to think when I was a kid I actually played outside and did other things besides spend hours on the computer. Wild. Yeah, I’m glad the internet exists.

26 - Are you glad that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential elections? I don’t get into politics on here. 

27 - What radio station do you listen to the most? I haven’t listened to the radio in years.

28 - Do you think the UK should have stayed in the European Union? I don’t know anything about that.

29 - What book series are your favourite and why? Have you read these books multiple times? I have many favorites, but some of my current favorites are murder mystery/psychological thrillers by authors Willow Rose, AJ Rivers, and Mary Stone. I’ve read so many books from each of them and I’m obsessed.

30 - Is there a popular food/drink that you can't stand? What is it and why don't you like it? Sushi and alcohol. It seems like everyone loves sushi and to drink besides me.

I could scream. Anxiety. Panic. Whatever this daily hell is has gotten worse today. Somethings drive me absolutely nuts. Like uncertainty, not knowing things in general. Lack of communication I guess. Today was payday. I'm not entirely sure what was spent. I haven't seen J since he dropped me off at work. Before he met Brian the mechanic...which he planned on paying 300$ to even tho I said we couldn't afford that much. Maybe 200 or 250. After all...the truck still isnt fucking fixed! I'm not sure if he even gave him that, I do know he withdrew that much from his card. But also that the car hasn't been paid neither has American rental. And the stupid blazer Brian was suppose to pick up is still sitting in my yard! I don't know anything. Based on what I think we have left given he did pay the 300 which he probably did because J does what he wants. Anyway with the last 2 bills and groceries. It's going to be an tight uncomfortable week. Gahhhh. Never going to get ahead. Ever. I need a second job or to win the lottery. Money really is the source of evil I am unhappy because of money I am stressed because of money We fight because of money.
