I used to think of how Juvia will be a cool aunt to Gajevy's kids but then I started thinking of what an absolutely chaotic yet goofball of an uncle Gajeel is going to be to Greige. Give it a few years and it's going to be such a riot in the guild that it will put everything that came before it to shame.

Gajeel and Juvia rooming together after joining Fairy Tail. Their lives upended and in unfamiliar territory and they only trust each other. The guild doesn't trust them and some members are still a bit hostile but it's still leagues better than the toxic environment at Phantom Lord. Jose kept the younger members housed at the guild to have better control over them (especially his pet dragon) so upon moving to Magnolia, it's the first time they have the opportunity to get a space for themselves. That codependency of only being able to rely on each other until they get more comfortable with the rest of the guild and begin opening up a little more.

Gajeel and Juvia Headcanons:

Sorcerer Weekly once interviewed Juvia who referred to Gajeel as 'like a brother' but Jason wrote that they were siblings making half of Fiore fully believe they are related

Gajeel is almost always using her as an arm rest. She's super dramatic about it too

Juvia is his go to baby sitter

He sat her down one day and thanked her for asking for him to join fairy tail. Gajeel will always feel indebted to her for giving him his chance at happiness

Gajeel walks her down the aisle at her wedding

They are super protective over each other. They would kill someone for each other will zero hesitation

They go on a lot of jobs together. They aren't technically a team but are close enough (people jokingly gave them the team name 'The Phantoms')

He knows the rain upsets her. So whenever it's bad out, he makes an effort to stay by her side. Gajeel never says anything but his presence makes Juvia feel a lot better

Juvia Headcanons

Juvia's hair changes shades of color based on her mood.

Juvia's magic is most powerful when there is a full moon, due to the connection between the moon and the ocean.

Juvia knows many foreign languages thanks to Monsieur Sol who taught her during Phantom Lord.

Juvia is actually good at singing, she has a very beautiful voice but she's ashamed. Only Gajeel, Gray and Rogue (at the time of Phantom, when he was Ryos) heard her sing.

In Phantom Juvia was also known as the Ice Queen, due to the coldness she showed.
