I was a little skeptical of this one when I saw that it used wild yeast as well as malolactic fermentation. Rich red in the glass. Dust and potting soil at first sniff, followed by lavender. Possibly some faint citrus as well. Quite lively on the tongue, sparkly feel though no bubbles. Far smoother and less tannic than I feared. Sour cherry, red currant, and a little raisin. Moderately sweet, just the right amount; any more would dull the speed of the experience. Black tea and leather near the end. This bottle would pair well with any number of dishes, light or medium-heavy, and would be a good choice for a crowd.
