I unironically want to make a Miss Congeniality au for my Garroth x Luochant fic but PURELY for shits and giggles. We need to bring back making fanfics of our fics for the sole purpose of it being stupid.

sooooo funny how laurance is a traumatized undead servant of hell (or hell homologue) and also a little bit of a slut and garroth is a stoic guard who ran away from his corrupt family to a small village that he devotes himself wholeheartedly to protecting and yet between the two of them laurance is the one who's like "i can fix him"

Out of everyone, Garroth is one of the most different characters across different universes from every aphmau character. (Probably followed by Katelyn in second, but I think Garroth is more different by a lot)

And it really makes you wonder, what makes Garroth Garroth?

If he is so different, what is there that isn't physical that ties them together. All that mystreet and Diaries Garroth share in common, mermaid tales Garroth throws out the window. What is it that they share?

Then I realised, they're all "the status quo". They all embody what they're supposed to be, at least on the surface level

That and mystreet and mcd Garroth both run away from their problems a lot

Dairies Garroth is a guard, through and through. And greatly TRIES to embody what makes a guard, and seems to do so on the surface level of things. He attempts to push down his emotions, only making him more prone to occasional outbursts. He finds the ideals of a guard VERY important.

Mystreet Garroth, the goofball and his father's favourite. Does just that, when he is surrounded by his father. He adheres to the ideals of the perfect son his father wants him to be. And acts like he does in pdh. Then in mystreet, he is drastically different. A total goofball. But whilst I may be reading too much into things, sometimes he turns his feelings into jokes. He upholds the idea of the comedic relief with tons of commitment to it.

Mermaid tales Garroth, is the basic image of a pirate. Lying, Deceitful, womanising, alcoholic, doing it all for the money. He seems like he throws away all that the other Garroth's stand for. Embodies the stereotype of a pirate.

Royal tale Garroth, a Prince. Very much a Prince. Everything about him is Prince like. The way he carries himself is Prince like. The formalities, the way he talks, the way he acts, everything about him embodies the classic Prince.

Even upside-down Garroth. He just embodies an emo teen. But he still does as such. Causing trouble. He complains way more then pdh Sasha, and is way less ambitious then pdh Zane. He is what parents think of when they hear the word emo, what parents hate.

To put it simple; Garroth seems to be(or at least try to be) what is expected of him from those around him. In all these universes, Garroth tries to fulfil expectations. So I believe mermaid tales Garte was a pirate aswell, as it would make a bit of sense on why Garroth acts like that.

The question now is; what would Garroth be without any influence? What would the truest form of Garroth be? What would Garroth be without all of this?

But I think that's just a matter of interpretation.

Honestly I just wanted to color .. I KNOW IVE BEEN JUST DOING HEADSHOTS ‼️‼️ give me a moment to cook yall.. but anyways for Leona I’m still deciding if I want her to know who her dad is from Kiki or if Kiki’s just been holding it off, either way Garroth knows that Leona is his niece. Whether you agree or not , Garroth did at one point cared for his brother Zane ofc so seeing his daughter who is almost identical to him nice and sweet just says how their up bringing was. I would like to believe when Garroth came back from the Irene dimension that he trained Leona. I am tempted to draw Zianna meeting Leona via Kiki’s request to Garroth. (( I might draw my next Gen ocs next post just cause I like Leona’s relationship with her siblings )

Diaries!Garroth hates looking into mirrors because all he sees is his father. And he fears being like his father. The idea of ending up like that tyrant terrifies him. And even if he looks different from his father when it comes to some facial features and such. When Garroth looks into the mirror, all he sees is his father.

Mystreet!Garroth hates looking into mirrors after Starlight because he looks ever so slightly off. This is because he's a werewolf now, and his bonestructure had been altered. Which is now associated with the possession and all the season 6 trauma, too.

He ends up having facial dysmorphia in both universes.
