even though he’s been to midgard a lot since he was first banished from asgard, he still is a little bit clueless. he thinks he’s doing great, but in reality he’s mostly guessing and saying random words he’s heard other people use. technology is a mystery to him even though he’ll reference it, 9 times out of 10 he has no idea. 

he’s a little out of touch with the avengers since he was on his own quest and then ragnarok happened. he’s seen so much in the last year that he’s not even sure all of it was real. 

he’s definitely mellowed out. he’s cocky, but not as much as he used to be. he’s seen too much loss to really consider himself the end all warrior. he admires those he has fought with. thor has no idea what a feminist is, but he’s definitely one. 

all in all, he wants to be known for his big muscles especially his heart. he deflects a lot by using humor. he’s still a sarcastic shit. 

since landing in fake york, he’s been more than confused. he spends most of his time cooped up in an apartment eating lots of carbs and watching daytime television. he’s being using the time to mourn. he doesn’t understand why things are written backward or why he can’t do much of anything to help. he’s mostly waiting for his time to shine.

Hey uuuuuuh I’m Val(22, EST, she/her) and I literally never join Marvel and/or DC rps because canons scare me? But I’ll be bringing my girl Sharon so it shouldn’t be that bad? Anyway, under the cut is a very very brief intro, tbh it’s mostly just a few headcanons and random facts since I’m keeping her pretty much the same as her appearance in the MCU movies.

First of all, she’s loyal, and that’s probs gonna get her killed one day. But she’s not necessarily loyal to papers she signed or accords. She’s loyal to her friends, those that are closed to her, to her beliefs. So if you’re close to her, she’ll follow you until the end.

BUT, she also has strong opinions and she’s not scared to share them. Though she won’t force her opinions on you, she’ll just agree to disagree.

She loves to take care of her appearance and have it neat, but she also loves to have it natural looking. She does spend quite some time in the morning for hair/makeup, but it’s always soft and not too heavy.

Honestly loves her hair both curled and straight, she flits a coin every morning to decide how to wear it. But it’s a l w a y s lose.

She always carries her trusty FNX-45 Tactical somewhere on her, usually hidden so you wouldn’t even realize she’s armed.

Her second favorite weapon of choice is a Glock 19, but if she can access neither of her first choices, she’S very skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

She always saw Peggy as more of a mother figure than her real mother was. She was a role-model for her, and enjoyed all of the stories she would tell her.

She literally grew up being told stories about the S.H.I.E.L.D. and took a particularly close interest in members of the Avengers team when they were formed. Lowkey always wanted to be a part of that team.

She considers Natasha Romanoff as both a rival in terms of spying abilities, but also as someone she looks up to.

for most of luca’s life, she idolised her father - he was this wonderful person who treated her like a princess, made sure she was happy and allowed her freedom to grow up the way she wanted to, but that all came crashing down when it was revealed that her father had an affair, and a child, with another woman a year previous to her own birth. all of a sudden, luca was living with the reality that she had a brother - a half brother called aristotle, and she had no idea what to do with that.

still, it’s in her nature to show kindness to anyone and everyone that she meets. she was like that as a child and she was like that throughout all of her school years at xavier’s school for the gifted. because, as well as her messy family dynamics, luca was a mutant - the x-gene passing down through her mother’s side. 

at first this didn’t seem so bad because she discovered that her half brother was also a mutant. they might not have much in common, but luca figured that this could maybe be a starting point. boy, was she wrong. no matter how hard she tried, or how much she showed affection to the male, he just... hated her. for years it was a constant battle between the two, one pushing while the other pushing; never truly seeing eye to eye.

luca has the power of nerve manipulation. this means she has the ability to manipulate the nerves and nervous system of herself and/or others.

copied from the wiki: the user has complete control over the nerves and nervous system of oneself and others, allowing them to freely alter and manipulate them. at the most basic level, the nervous system coordinates the voluntary and involuntary actions of the animal and transmits signals between different parts of its body. the user can generate/regenerate, manipulate, shape, etc, the nerves/nervous system, nerve cells, nerve impulses and messages, including senses, reflexes, functionally the whole voluntary/involuntary movement, causing/increasing/removing nerve ailments, etc.

luca needs physical contact for this power to be used so, because of this, luca avoids physical contact like it’s the plague itself. she can often be found with her sleeves pulled down past her finger tips, curled up in a ball on a seat, or sticking to the walls of a room if it’s filled with people.  

when her brother killed his lover after losing control, luca’s fear of her own power grew tenfold. she began to withdraw more and more from her x-men training; at one point, she even tried to hand back her uniform. how could she be one of the x-men, or train to become one, if she was too scared to fulfil her duties? so, instead of furthering her learning, she began to teach. more specifically, luca became a sort of like guidance counsellor to the younger mutants, as well as a representative for mutants with disabilities.

luca has been deaf since birth. as a result, she has learned to communicate with her hands, using asl. she’s also a very proficient lip reader, a fact that she kept from aristotle for several years - after all, he hated her so why should she make it easier on him? she’s not aggressive nor is she confrontational, but this passive aggressive method was all she could do. eventually, though, she revealed that she could lip read thus letting her brother know that she knows exactly what he had been calling her during that time period. 

as well as her being deaf, luca has two different coloured irises. her right eye is her dominant forest green colour and the other is one quarter green three quarters brown. it’s a physical trait passed down from her mother’s side of the family. 

even though she is 25 and has seen things that would destroy one’s faith in the world, luca's faith still remains very child-like. she likes to believe in the best of people and generally views a person as good until proven otherwise, but even at that she still believes that they can be turned/saved. 

her favourite flower is the sunflower because they just seem like such a happy flower and the world could always use a little more happy.

Kyle became a Lantern at a time when Hal Jordan went crazy and killed lots of Lanterns and the Guardians had to give a ring to someone, so they went with The Kid.

Kyle here is an artist at heart and has been from day one. He’s worked as a cartoonist a few years now, and it’s how he pays his bills today, because the Corps, while having massive benefits and really good healthcare, pays not shit.

At one point, Kyle became The White Lantern, and still shudders at the thought of all the pressure that was, and even became Ion, which also, massive pressure.

Kyle loves being a Green Lantern and takes pride in being in the Corps, and loves most of his fellow Lanterns. 

Kyle is also a massive flirt, and often can’t help himself, don’t pay it much mind, he easily takes a hint.

Kyle often teams up with and is close friends with Jason Todd and Donna Troy, and has a deep respect and love for them both.

Well, in case you didn’t know, my boy here Conner has like the most convoluted backstories out there, but here’s a bit of an abridged version

Originally only known as Experiment 13, Conner is a Clone of Superman, with DNA from Lex Luthor thrown in as well, created by Project Cadmus.

After the “Death” of Superman, Experiment 13 was released from his cloning tube too early, emerging as a young man, and due to the artificial memories given to him, he referred to himself as Superman.

Over time, he would come to understand he’s a clone and come to accept the name Superboy.

Originally Superboy only posessed tactile telekinesis, but over time, his kryptonian powers developed, and Superman gave him his names, Conner Kent, and his Kryptonian name, Kon-El.

Kon’s had his fair share of adventures being part of Young Justice and the Teen Titans, even fighting Superboy Prime and at one point dying.

All in all, Kon’s an angsty alien boy who needs a hug and a smack upside the head to keep on the right track, but is for the most part a good egg

alright, hey hello. i’m poe, i’m old, and i never learned how to read. under the cut, i’ll be putting some headcanons of lena since she’s mostly going to be sticking to canon. minus her relationship in the current timeline. if you want to plot, talk, or discuss world domination hmu. 

lena can be found most days in the lab. the thought of trying to run any sort of empire (see: L-Corp or CatCo) seems irrelevant at this point. her main focus is on trying to bring the universe back to it’s original status. everyone brought together makes her really nervous and her skin feels like it’s crawling. she’s open to letting anyone into her lab as long as they show up with the intention to help and not hinder.

the thought of seeing her brother makes her want to hide away until everything goes back to normal. she has no idea how to face him. if he’s out in the world, she knows no good can come of it. a piece of her still loves and will always love him, even after he attempted to end her life. 

currently, she’s the walking embodiment of “i can survive on caffeine alone, watch me.” even though she’s exhausted most of the time, she makes sure to present herself a certain way -- heels, red lipstick, black painted nails. her image is something she continues to cling to. 

in her own dimension, lena’s worked hard to prove that she’s different than her last name. she’s more than a luthor. now being thrust into every dimension at once, she’s unsure how people will react to her. she doesn’t want to have to start at ground zero, but she’ll do what she has to do to make people believe she only wants the best. she’ll do anything to save and protect her friends. 

lena is bisexual. she finds beauty in both men and women. she’s open to try anything once. in a family that’s always promoted intolerance and xenophobia, she strives to be different in every way (definitely not keeping the bullshit that lena is pro guns and against gun reform. i refuse to believe it) from her family.

sofía left the institute after the events of m-day, when over 90% of mutants (sofía and her friends david alleyne included) were depowered by the chaos made by scarlet witch.

she went to new york and there she worked as a waitress!?! until she was approached by beak and joined the new warriors, a team of depowered mutants, where she became renascence.

recently, the team broke up and went their separate ways, and sofía hadn’t been seen ever since.

she has a very strong personality despite being very warm and likeable, and sofía works very hard to be a good leader and role model to the people around her.

sofía was voted most outgoing for the yearbook and she lives up to that title, mostly to the people she knows for a long time.

ever since she was depowered, she’s been more quiet and lonely than ever, unsure of what to do with herself.

okay so, i haven’t fully caught up with arrow yet so my oliver will mostly be canon divergent - if he and your character have a canon relationship/connection then hmu and we can work stuff out in terms of everything that follows:

as we all know, and as the show constantly has to remind us, oliver was trapped on an island for about five years, it’s there that he learned the art of survival, archery and general fighting skills - he also learned of his father’s list and vowed to clean up star city if/when he returned to it.

things that are not canon: his relationship with felicity & his run for mayor.

throughout his time as the green archer, oliver has gained a lot as well as lost a lot, most notably his best friend tommy, his mother and his own sense of self outwith his green arrow persona.

he was determined to keep his journey and vendetta private, to work alone and remain detached from the world but, over time, his small circle started to grow and as the years passed oliver found that he was better off with a team that he could trust. he still has a habit of thinking that he can go it alone but, at the end of the day, they’re his support system and he doesn’t really know what he would do without them.

after finding out that he has a son and the death of his son’s mother, oliver vowed to look after him and did his utmost to protect and nurture the boy, though he is often not so silently struggling with keeping william safe and maintaining his double life as the green arrow.

just before the collision of worlds, oliver had came out as the green arrow to the world and was subsequently arrested, thus putting him in jail. now, with the world in the state that it’s in, he’s once more free. deep in his bones, he believes he should be locked up. after all, he has killed and done a lot of bad things in the name of revenge, what he viewed as righteous vengeance and under the guise of the arrow. yet, after everything, he still believes that he can do some good while donning his green leather. so, with his new freedom in his grasp, he’s doing just that.

he’s also against working with the other side because it takes forever for this dude to warm up to others and even longer to trust them so... that’s a learning curve that he’ll most likely be forced down eventually.

Hey, so I’m Liz and I’m on Est timezone. This is my first time in this type of rp as I’ve done ask base games and things on other servers but this is my first time doing this type. So I’m slowly learning, but I’ll slowly learn as we go and hopefully, I don’t mess up too much. Also on Friday through Monday, I work from 1 to 11:30 with Saturday being a slightly shorter day, but that means I’ll only reply before work or after work depending on how exhausted I am. So just a little heads up on those days, but my days off I’m around way more than I should be.

Anyways, enough about me, let me introduce my baby girl who I’m excited to try and hope I do her justice. This here is Lorna Dane aka Polaris from The Gifted, which if you haven’t seen the show, then you should. Here are some fun things you need to know about her:

Lorna is a mutant with the ability of Magnetokinesis, Ferromagnetism, and  Electromagnetism.Her whole thing is around metal and magnetic fields, which is why she can stop bullets, blow out lights, and even cause people unable to use cells or walkies. If you have any type of metal on you whether it’s a gun, something from a surgery, etc, then she will know and she can use it.

Her step-father was a pilot who died in a plane crash and found out recently her father is actually Magneto who she met when younger; however, she thought it was a friend of her mother’s.

She doesn’t believe in hiding who you are and proud of being a mutant. Believes it’s a gift and mutants should be treated just like everyone else.

Fell in love with Marcos Diaz and he actually is the light to her darkness, but even with things bad between them right now, she couldn’t  see herself with anyone else. Cause she’s pretty sure no one could deal with her personality.

Is bipolar and HATES when anyone uses the term crazy around her though she tries to hide it. Even if you call her plan crazy, it isn’t to her, but she will take offense.

Went to jail because she threw herself in the line of fire so Marcos could get away. Her time on the inside had her seeing how mutants were treated, pissing her off even more than she already was.

She’s pregnant and the baby has been making her stronger with her abilities.

This Lorna is coming from the finale so this is spoilers and you’ve been warned.

She wants to make the world a better place for her baby and is tired of hiding and being always on the run from humans. So she’s now with the Hellfire Club.

Lorna is stubborn and an angry one so she isn’t one to back down, especially when she believes what she’s doing is right.

Has no problem speaking her mind or punching someone for talking ill about her kind.

She isn’t one to be impressed by much and can come across as rather scary cause very rarely does she smile; however, Marcos is one of the few people who can bring out her softer side.

Has no problem jumping into doing something stupid even while pregnant since Lorna doesn’t show fear of any kind unless she’s alone or with someone she trusts. She’ll always have the back of her friends/family, protecting them at all costs, which is part of the reason she brought the plane down.

This is quite long and I might add later on more as we go, but I’ll stop from now. Hopefully I do this character justice cause I’m excited to try her out.

background ; 

katherine pryde was the daughter of carmen and theresa pryde, and was born in deerfield, illinois. 

kitty was leading the normal life of an extremely gifted thirteen year old girl when she began suffering increasingly intense headaches ; the headaches were a result of kitty's mutant power emerging.

kitty possesses the ability to pass through solid matter.

professor charles xavier located kitty and set to recruit her for his school, and possibly as a new member of his x-men.

kitty's parents allowed her to join prof. xavier's school for gifted youngsters. 

she became the newest member of the x-men ; kitty spent a great deal of time training & during her first training session in the danger room, kitty easily walked through a scenario that took professor xavier weeks to program.

abilities ; 

selective intangibility: allows others to become intangible and make other objects intangible by making them pass through other massive solid objects easily such as buildings, planes, and trains.

partial intangibility: kitty can choose which parts of her body become intangible. she make one part of her intangible while leaving the rest of her body solid.

elemental intangibility: allow elemental attacks to pass harmlessly through her such as water, fire, earth, air, energy, electricity, and even lightning.

physical disruption: kitty can easily damage tangible matter by passing right through it.

non-corporeal physiology: kitty's intangibility abilities make her practically untouchable.

air & water walking: using her phasing/intangibility ability, shadowcat can freely walk on both air and water. in fact, she could use her ability to walk on water and the air from the ground to the upper stories of a building as if she were climbing a staircase.

phasing/intangibility extension: from the first use of her phasing power, shadowcat was able to phase her clothing along with herself. through practice she learned to phase other objects along with herself without harm to them, and at one point phased an entire x-men team. she could also enable someone as big as colossus to "walk on air" along with her. however, she had to maintain physical contact with the people or objects she phased along with herself for the effect to work with this other person or object.

camouflage: kitty can easily blend into the colors of her immediate surroundings and environments, practically making her invisible to anything seen to the naked eye.

shadow camouflage: shadowcat can also become completely invisible and unseen in shadows.

electronic disruption: she could phase through any material object, even living people. when she phased through an object with an electrical system, the process disrupted the system's workings.

telepathic resistance: her thoughts were highly erratic when phased as if there was no mind to telepathically affect.

cloaking: kitty can hide herself and others from any type of optical eyesight.

black vortex empowerment: after exposure to the power of the black vortex, kitty's cosmic potential was unleashed, vastly improving on all of her previous abilities, now being able to phase through different planes of existence and ascend to a cosmic plane.

weaknesses ; 

mystical vulnerability: while phasing shadowcat was still vulnerable to mystical attacks, however magic users like scarlet witch or doctor strange cannot affect her whilst Kitty is intangible.

phasing limitations: since she was unable to breathe while "inside" an object, she could only continuously phase through solid objects ( as when she traveled underground ) as long as she could hold her breath. denser materials were more difficult for kitty to phase through, sometimes causing her pain. when phasing through adamantium it makes her sick. solidifying while in an object could cause serious injury if not death. as it is an active ability, if she can't see an attack coming, she can't phase through it, a fact that the mercenary known as deadpool once exploited when he knocked her out (taking her by surprise) in order to provoke wolverine into fighting him for his amusement
