I'm obsessed with the gem joel dynamic. watching the other teams pair up and seeing how they act with one another is different than these two. the other teams feel like they know they'll need to turn against each other at some point but gem and Joel are just chilling they just love each other. they've also been practicing (the not so secret secret fight club) against one another so I mean maybe they already know the outcome. I think they're just so sweet

i’m literally gonna explode with excitement about joel and gem btw. joel really really wants to have a true team this season.

and i’m so glad i was proven right about my theory that underneath all their bickering and pretend hate, there is a trust that runs deep and is almost like. they gravitated towards each other in both the real life series and this one. they trust each other’s skill and they trust the other to have their back.

they’re like. third law of motion. if they are close at the start they will join together unless acted upon by an outside force.

i hope they get freakishly codependent.
