"why should I get invested in shows if they'll just get canceled" I was deeply invested in Heroes (2006) and it was not canceled, it just got really terrible. I also got really invested in the sandwich I had a few weeks ago despite it only lasting like 15 minutes. You must embrace the ephemeral. Not gonna lie, I'm glad they finally addressed the difference in how Marinette sees fashion as self-expression and something that should be accessible to everyone vs Gabriel who sees fashion as a means to create an elite class and extract wealth from those they deem deserving of wearing their pieces

It's always been my headcanon that Marinette does go into fashion, but she doesn't have a world famous high production brand, she chooses to do slow-made sustainable fashions in a wide range of sizes that are still fun and quirky, ready to be mixed and matched and loved for a long time rather than tossed to the side each season

I like that this show poses the question "what if making teen girls upset or uncomfortable on purpose had violent consequences" and then answers it

People being like "ive given up on stolitz because they arent addressing their issues fast enough" yall would not have survived a 10 season will they/wont they, which is a romantic genre staple. Which admittedly I find some slowburn romo can drag on too but this show has like eight 15-25 minutes episodes per season, not twenty-two 45 minute ones. Meanwhile tons of other people say the entire show is too fast paced and doesn't offer breathing room so you know. Can't please everyone, obviously.

I do think Tom fell in love with Greg at first sight but when Greg comes to him with the information that he accidentally talked to the reporter and Tom realizes how Greg deeply but stupidly trusts him with this sensitive goddamn pipe bomb piece of info, and comes to him as "a friend"..... Tom really does have his bleeding heart softie instinct kick in and he falls ever harder.......

You know I will admit Stolas crosses some boundaries like all the time, but considering Blitzø himself seems to think breaking and entering counts as a love language, I feel like there is just an entire ocean of intention lost in translation between the two of them

By which i mean idk the way Stolas talks and acts towards Blitzø in the earlier episodes is often very flippant but i also wonder if at some times he's not just modeling how Blitzø himself interacts with the world??? We know for sure Stolas doesn't have, um, any friends, and in hindsight with what we learn later he seems rather desperate for Blitzø's attention

This doesn't excuse him being a jerk but they're both just soooooo.... like, buried between layers and they both have the tendency to act out/say/do whatever for attention
