Although I never focus on him much, King Daniel is actually one of my favorite sims. He's so different than most I've created. Here are some cool facts about the king:

He cannot cook and didn't learn to drive until after his kids were born. And he only learned so he could spend time with them and would often just drive them around palace grounds.

He's a bibliophile and probably reads 4 books per week! He's always reading multiple books as well. Reading a book next to his wife with his dog, Lorde, is his favorite way to pass time.

He will never admit it but he's jealous of his son, Prince Paul because Paul is able to have fun and not take himself too seriously. Daniel was raised the opposite way and has trouble letting his guard down.

He will be a better grandfather than father. He raised his children in a way consistent with his upbringing with the goal of making sure they and the monarchy survive. This didn't always leave him time to be super affectionate and caring.

Despite his height and athletic build, he hates sports and doing too much activity. In fact, he doesn't think it's Kingly to sweat and girate too much--it's more of his conseravtive/preservationist side,

The Royals guests Start arriving at Bucksimgham Palace for Her Majesty, Queen Elisabeth II Birthday Banquet.

The members of foreign royal families start to arrive at Bucksimgham Palace for the birthday banquet. The royal guest as usual enter the palace through the Victorian Portico where they will be photographed before entering the Palace through the Grand Entrance.

Introducing: Royal Family of Alexandrine

After following tons of royal family simblrs for months, such as @batsfromwesteros, @thesimpireblr​ and @genevrianroyals​, I decided to join the community and create my own sims 4 royal legacy. So without further ado let me introduce to you - the Royal Family of Alexandrine! 

Sitting down to the far left with a hand around her sister-in-law, we have Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Anitha Magdalena, though known by her subjects as the fashion icon Princess Anitha. She is also the current heir to the Crown since the King and Queen is yet without children. Standing behind her is her mother, the gracious Her Majesty the Dowager Queen Dagmar, spouse of the late King Vilhelm II of Alexandrine. Though no longer formally Queen of Alexandrine, she remains Queen of the people. 

Now, left to introduce to you is the currently reigning King and Queen. Here, posing in the Palace’s white drawing room, with a hand resting on her husband’s shoulder: Her Majesty Queen Marguerite. Recently married into the Royal House, she is the newest member of the family and not yet really confirmed by the people. Though Queen Marguerite is a stranger to Alexandrian life, she is not a stranger to the royal life; she descends from a nearby Kingdom. Last, but definitely not least: the only son of the late King Vilhelm II and the Dowager Queen, brother to Princess Anitha: His Majesty King Melchior VI Vilhelm of Alexandrine.

The Official Wedding Reception for TRH The Prince and Princess of the Isle

The Reception was held in the San Myshuno Palace Grand Ballroom which is only used for official state occasions.

The first guests to arrive were TRH The Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Stafford @batsfromwesteros​. The second guests to arrive were TM The King and Queen of Norman @normanroyalfamily​. The next guests to arrive were TRH The Prince and Princess of Darley @thesimmonarchy​. The fourth guests to arrive were TM The King and Queen of Willow Creek @ourwillowcreekroyals​. The next couple to arrive were TM the King and Queen of Newcrest @ossetia​. The second to last guests to arrive were HRH Princess Marie Amelie of Estenbourg, Princess of Simssau and her aunt, HRH Princess Maria Matilda, Dowager Marchioness of Vergiess-Huel, Princess of Simssau @grandducalsims. The last couple to arrive were HRH Prince Alexander of Belmont and his fiancé, Mr. Damian Savile @genevrianroyals.

This concludes the royal wedding! I would like to think the simmers I collaborated with and I am very happy I did this huge wedding, although it did take a while lol.

For anyone who’s ever liked any of my simblr blogposts or followed me, thank you.

I’ve always loved the sims and storytelling to spice up my game. A while ago, I started watching @miraraeblog’s Royal Family series on YouTube (go check it out if you haven’t seen it!) and created a royal family save just for my fun to play after work and school.

I started posting my royals here, but I never thought I’d be able to join this community and get to know so many amazing and talented simblrs. I also have to say thank you @theroyalsims and @batsfromwesteros for inspiring me and many others.

My middle name is part of my mother’s first name.

Today. My grandfather just died so I’ve been crying a ton.

5. How do you choose your characters’ names?

When I started, it was random. Now, it's either a family name or a name from a friend or someone I've encountered. UNLESS it's a name that has to have meaning.

25. What inspirations have you drawn on for your story?

Of course, there's the BRF but also the larger story of the modern relationship with monarchy and media. And I can't forget my own Black and the American experience. A lot of my story includes aspects of our culture or my experiences as a New Orleanian.

26. Have other sim stories inspired you?

Yes! Your story specifically, @nexility-sims, helped me world-build and better understand the family's history since I had to trace them to the 1920s. @batsfromwesteros set the standard in so many ways. @thedevilliers is a screenshot icon, and I am obsessed with the political and detailed coverage @genevrianroyals, @empiredesimparte, @armoricaroyalty, and @wa-royal-tea provides

Alexandra Genevria State Visit Day Two | Pt. I

Her Majesty Queen Josephine joined King Daniel to lay a wreath at The Tomb of Unknown Soldiers in honor of the upcoming Memorial of Five Kings, which according to tradition, will align with the Crown Prince’s investiture as Prince of Windenburg, cementing his role as heir to the throne.

For the solemn occasion, only one photographer was allowed to capture the moment where HM The King and The Genevrian Monarch laid a wreath before having a moment of silence.

There is only one higher sign of friendship for foreign royals and that’s the Royal Order of King Frederick Winden I, and Alexandran royal order for foreign monarchs considered friends of the Crown. HM will be investited later this evening and we of course will have photos.

Alexandran | Genevrian State Visit Ends

After falling ill (Life Tragedies mod I decided to keep), Their Majesties King Daniel and Queen Shalom were able to fulfill their State Visit duties yesterday afternoon when they The Queen and King of Genevria were made cultural Alexandrans.

For her commitment to working as a friend of the crown, HM Queen Josephine was made a Commander General in the Royal Order of King Frederick Winden I and HM King Charles-Albert was made a Crimson Knight in the Most Royal Order of the Knights of St. Paul.

The royals shared one last lunch together before the Genevrians headed back home. The King is set to meet with Ambassador Landry and the EM to discuss the economic outcomes of the visit.

Alexandra Genevria State Visit Day One | Pt. III

For the final stop on their first day in Alexandra, HM Queen Josephine joined our very own Queen Shalom at the annual Ladies of Alexandra tea and luncheon.

The annual tea is a gathering of Alexandra’s top royal, noble, and businesswomen, who all come together to raise money to support the women of Alexandra is a multitude of ways.

As the guest of honor, Queen Shalom shared the initiatives HM has undertaken since Dauphine to improve the lives for women in Genevria. After the luncheon, HM Queen Josephine made a surprise announcement and shared her foundation, The Royal Foundationn, will also contribute to the annual fund. That has raised over $300 million for at risk women since its founding 59 years ago by HM Queen Armande.

Alexandra Genevria State Visit Day One | Pt. II

After receiving the Genevrian Royals at Essence Court Palace, the couple was photographed in the Essence Court Throne Room before convening briefly in the Royal Library, where they spoke to the archivist responsible for keeping the history of the Alexandran Royal Family.

We know the HM Queen Shalom has asked HM Queen Josephine to join her at the annual Ladies of Alexandra Tea as the guest of honor. Of course, TRSi will share any updates we receive.
