Went for a walk before the sun set and I could see these two little girls holding a sign but couldn't read it from the distance I was and then they were waving me over so I was like ? This is an awesome question thank you!! It’s always hard for me to put down specific real life bands white whale fall characters would listen to because 1: I don’t know all the music in the world (I wish I did) and 2: I’ve never nailed down an exact date it’s super vague but white whale fall takes place maybe somewhere around the late seventies. So that cuts out a lot of music that I do know!! Also ashamed to admit I haven’t actually listened to a ton of riot grrrl. I’ve listened to a lot of stuff that influenced the movement and WAS influenced by it- but I wish I could name more actually self identified riot grrrl bands I like -_- I will say an era appropriate band that Francesca would definitely love is x ray spex. I started writing/concepting wwf at a time that I listened to x ray spex a TON and they’re very connected to Francesca in my mind. X ray spex was the earliest influence I can think of to write characters who were in a band and also they are the reason that band has a saxophone in it!

Misery continues— I am fucking done with anything social especially with children under age 12 for the rest of 2024.

The Rx meds I take to keep my hacking cough under control and keep my lungs clear do violence on my digestive system and leave my hands very shaaaaaaAAAAaAAky.

I am soon to leave one of a series of foody heavens for yet another (via what better not be a horrific experience on an international flight — not the flight per se but my not ready for travel state of physical being).

This is sad bc where I live in the US has HORRIBLE RESTAURANTS and a “sidewalks roll up at 8pm” attitude, well, minus a tiny handful of gems (that I wiki keep in business lololol)

Sooooooooooooo pissed off that for 3.5 weeks I have cancelled on so many museums and trekking in national parks and amazing historical sites and fmlllllllllll.

I hate children and their germ.

Always have but now more than ever.

Also: hard drive empty— zero video zero photography. never opened fancy gear case except for airline security. (Multiple times)
