I think that roche wouldn’t be super into public displays of affection, but leaning against geralt is just subtle enough to be so so sweet to me. it’s not a big gesture in the grand scheme of things, but people will notice it if they look, and I think it makes it all the more meaningful. “you’re worth the vulnerability of showing that I trust you” or something. I don’t know. these war criminals have me in a chokehold.

Summary:

Much has happened since Geralt and Roche parted from one another at an inn outside Loc Muinne. Nilfgaard has invaded the North a third time, and much like the second, Geralt finds himself searching for Ciri once more. While she occupies his thoughts greatly, there is another who haunts his mind – a man he remembers with a sense of longing and uncertainty. As he struggles with his mission, Geralt clings desperately to the hope that one day – be it in a year, five years, even ten – he and Vernon Roche will get the chance to tie up the loose ends surrounding them.

On the Definition of Black Holes: Bridging the Gap Between Black Holes and Singularities. (arXiv:2205.12942v1 [gr-qc])

Proposed definitions generalizing the notion of black holes beyond asymptotically flat spacetimes to arbitrary spacetimes, in the context of classical general relativity, are presented and discussed. The construction formalizes the heuristic idea that black holes are the "past Cauchy development of the set of singularities". As such, the formulation depends in a critical way on the identification of singularities, which has been treated in the literature through various boundary constructions. While many of the known boundary constructions (e.g. Schmidt's b-boundary or Geroch's g-boundary) could in principal be cited as underlying one's notion of a black hole, well-known topological concerns leads us to take the perspective that Scott and Szekeres' abstract boundary provides the most natural choice. The framework is utilized to put forward a general, non-IVP formulation of the Weak Cosmic Censorship Conjecture.
