사고 후 공연장 인근 병원에서 엑스레이 검사를 진행한 결과 골절 소견을 받았으며, 해당 내용으로 팬분들께 안내를 드렸습니다.

신속한 대응을 위해 인근 응급실 여러 곳을 먼저 방문했으나, 당시가 주말 심야 시간이라 전문 의료진이 없는 곳들이 있었고 검사에도 오랜 시간이 소요되어 사고 직후에 안내드리지 못한 점에 대해 팬분들의 너른 양해 부탁드립니다.

이후 상급 종합 병원에서 보다 정밀한 검사가 필요하다는 의료진의 판단에 따라 MRI 촬영 및 전문 교수진의 진료를 받았고, 추가 검사 결과, 초기 엑스레이에서 보였던 골절 선은 어린 시절에 생긴 흔적으로 현재는 해당 부위와 가까운 신경이 눌린 것으로 확인되었습니다.

이에 따라 아티스트는 경과를 지켜보며 의료진 소견에 따라 적절한 치료를 진행할 예정입니다.

당사는 아티스트의 건강과 회복을 최우선으로 고려하여, 의료진과 긴밀히 협의하며 필요한 치료와 최상의 환경을 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하고 있습니다.

We'd like to update our fans once again on the health status of Stray Kids member Felix.

After the accident, Felix was taken to a hospital near the concert venue where he had an X-ray examination and was noted to have a fracture. This was the information we announced to our fans. In order to ensure swift action, we first visited multiple emergency rooms. But as the accident happened late at night on a weekend, some places were missing medical staff and the inspection itself took longer than usual. Therefore, we weren't able to notify our fans immediately after the accident. We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding of this situation.

Later on, following the medical staff's opinion, Felix was transferred to a higher-level general hospital where he underwent an MRI scan and was examined by specialized faculty. Upon additional examination, it was determined that the fracture line seen on the initial X-ray was a childhood injury and at the moment there's a pinched nerve near that area.

Therefore, we will be keeping an eye on our artist's recovery progress and will go through necessary treatment based on the medical team's findings.

Our artist's health and recovery are our top priority, and we're working closely with the medical team to provide him with the care he needs in the best possible environment.

We sincerely apologize to our fans who must be startled by this sudden news, and we'll be doing everything we can to ensure a quick recovery of the artist.

I have returned to continue the series that I most certainly did not almost forget about! But it's only been five days you say. Well, what can I say?

Pear, Grapefruit, and Leather.

Mx Val was supposed to be simple. I laid out a few options that I felt fit as I was looking into perfumes and essential oils, but the put together actually took more time than I expected [hence why I skipped Kendis and Pierre to go to Val because they were supposed to be simple!]

It was clear to me that I wanted Leather from the beginning, both because of the motorcycles tune up love and the constant wearing of leather jackets. But Leather perfume/scents were often associated with 'sophistication'. But Mx. 'I love fairs and free stuff' and 'I could live off artificially-flavored candy and fruit loops' isn't exactly who I would describe as 'a sophisticate'. Over Nate's dead body. Undead body? So for a while I considered ginger to step in as the more 'pungent' scent. Though Ginger is paired with having a 'refreshing' vibe, I always felt the scent was ... 'spicy'. And not spicy as in hot, but there's a certain kick to your senses that you get when you spell or consume ginger. [Making the title of being 'an adventurous scent' make perfect sense.]

Then, I was like you know what, I really do want leather and I don't think ginger works quite as well ... because though Val does cause trouble, I don't think they're quite spicy. This is why I kept letter and also tacked in Peppermint. Peppermint didn't kick as hard as ginger, it tingled and tickled. I also liked it because it has calming anxieties and inferiority complexes -- fitting for someone who has both, in a sense. And as a tingly scent, even when it stops tickling our nose it still lingers [like Val on Adam’s mind~]. And Peppermint is also seen as a scent with "an adventurous" vibe. Maybe because it adds 'invigorating and dynamic' notes to other scents it mixes with.

Alas, even Peppermint fell [even though I really do think it was near perfect], because the scent of 'pear' captivated me. You could say, as a concept and a scent, it bewitched me body and soul:

Pear: Though, far from spicy and tingly, Pear is stated to have a 'slightly tart' scent. And, for me, pears have a ... I don't know how to describe it, but a sort of low-key sweetness that sort of kicks you in the back of your throat. Sometimes it can be too sickly sweet -- which kind of makes me think of how some cereals can be. Val like cereal so pear is clearly perfect ;-D. [Both, at least for me, have a residue ... that after taste, and that too is Val x Adam. To me.] Pear also mixes well with the other two scents -- though, termed as a 'sophisticated' scent when paired with leather, I did like the way it brought out the muskier aspects of leather and grapefruit seems to heighten the refreshing scent of pear. But I particularly liked how pear was described as a peculiar, distinguishable scent but also comforting. Maybe brings mind of spring evenings as pears start to bud, maybe it is the thought of an idyllic summer twilight where you share a peach with the one you love. Anyway, I liked that as a description to how I saw Val as slightly odd but surprisingly responsible [where it matters].

Grapefruit: I got a lot of citrus scents recommended to me via quizzes, and as I was reading I felt they fit as well, for Val. Particularly lemon, bergamot, and just citrus in general. They worked of course because citruses are seen as a zesty, energetic scent. Marked even as 'fresh' and 'green'. In a metaphorical sense, green worked because Val is the youngest of my detectives and I wouldn't be surprised if they were the youngest in their play through. I settled on grapefruit because, I felt it to be uncommon -- people tend to be more familiar in using lemons, limes, and oranges in their food and scents/oils seem to focus on bergamot, neroli, oranges, and lemons. I didn't see a lot of grapefruit, I felt that separation from the pack ... the belonging yet not fit Val. But more than that, I've seen many say grapefruit is a citrus that they like least or not at all. Like Val, it is an acquired taste :-D. There are plenty of reasons why I liked grapefruit - as you can see, and not least of all for the descriptors of 'lively, 'vitality', 'fresh', 'tangy', 'slightly bitter' - but it was described as a 'unisex' scent. Pear seemed often noted to lean as a 'feminine' sent and Leather mentioned often as a 'masculine'. I liked the idea pair of being both the combining link but also distinctly either or, neither nor.

Leather: Last, but never ever least, is leather. Practical, bold, grounded, a scent of leadership, Leather is categorized as a niche scent that leaves an impression. As I stated, I really wanted Leather to represent Val's hobby and style, but I did also like how it is seen equally as a warm, captivating [and when mixed with citrus or floral, it was even seen as 'soothing'] scent despite that it was very often marked as 'virile' and powerful. For some reason, particularly when thinking of it with pair, it kept reminding me of that book 3 end moment. The way Val sympathized with Adam despite how he picked at their insecurities, that the strength of warmth for him overshadowed the heartache they had. It also encapsulates their determination to save him from himself.

So, if you're looking for a mixture of invigorating scents that leave you feeling refreshed after an exhausting day but still manage to keep you warmly grounded, than a Val candle is for you! Or if you just want a smell that balances between dynamically light and powerfully robust as well as a touch romantic, than give their candle a try ;-D
